We are all hot and bothered!
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty The Monster Ferret!
What a day! We started out with a stiff breeze coming in off the sea but that didn't last too long and out came the sun. Eric was all for getting down and having a good run along the Sea Wall but after a few steps even he decided to 'Slow Down A Bit'!

May's eye is a little better but most of the time it is closed. OTL says it is almost impossible to get any drops in her eye 'cos as soon as the drops hit her eye she shakes her head and covers OTL with the stuff!
Now, how about this for progress?

He still gets thrown out of bed if he tries to creep in for a cuddle so he still has a way to go yet but little steps and one day he will allowed to snooze in the same bed!
At lunchtime OTL doesn't take the ferrets out 'cos it is still too hot, even with an on shore breeze blowing, it is still too hot for ferrets!

She doesn't do 'Rushing about' unless there is a rabbit up ahead and then it's more of a token chase!

Holly and I plus the ferrets all enjoy a good snooze.
So does OTL but today he over did it. You see, there he was sitting in his office chair that has a tall back and a head rest, back he leans and reaches out for his box file that is under the shelving. Only, he is half asleep and he leans back just a little too much and..................over he goes..........crunch!
Holly and I thought it was great fun and both of us jumped onto him and gave him a good licking, just to make sure he wasn't hurt!
Mind you, he was laughing his tail off!

Yo little hot maties. I don't like it so hot, I like to stay inside in a cool dark room. My boy was down in the living room with me this afternoon when my mum went to work and he went and got his fan thingamagig wot looks like a space ship, it cools the air down and it tells you wot the air quality is. Well my mum asked him wot the quality was when she came home and he said it wasn't very good cos when woofers are about the air quality drops, my mum told him off and told him he'd be sitting on top of his rocket thingamy if he wasn't careful, well that was the gist of it anyways. Loved the pictures today, that picture of Wendy and Monty is good and we're all so glad here that she is getting used to him a bit more and hope you find them cuddled up very soon. Well it doesn't look like my mum will be going into hospital on Wednesday so I won't have to look after my boy for a few days yet. I must say I'm quite pleased cos although I've been very busy training him, he still leaves a lot to be desired. He doesn't say how high when I say jump, see I have my mum trained to perfection. We'll be having an early night tonight cos we had a very early morning today. I can just imagine you and Holly jumping on OTL to make sure he wasn't too hurt and kissing him better. I hope he hasn't got any sore spots. I take it he didn't suffer from the grumblies after the BBQ yesterday, now you didn't say if Mrs TM and OTL brought you back a doggie bag. Great progress with May and Monty, it takes a while but you will soon be seeing them cuddling up especially when this heat goes away. Lovely pictures cheeky little ferret peeping out and poor warmishly hot Holly all ploddy poor thing. x Archie is right you never mentioned the BBQ, no good or bad stories and no doggy bag, you’ve got to have a doggy bag from a BBQ, things are bad, no snackettes from the Master Class, no steak and burger from the barbe, just a muddy beach. What’s on the menu for Tuesday, salad I suppose, do you fancy ham omelette with salad followed by strawberries, I could call over but the lettuce will be a bit wilted. xxxxxx. 🥀. When I type wilted I get 🥀 🥀 how fun is that. xxxxxx
