Wednesday in the sun and OTL has to work!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty the Monster here!

Another warm and sunny day!

We do just love these sunny days, in fact it must have been years since we have had such a long run of good weather.

Mind you, the weather man says that today there 'may be an isolated rain cloud' whatever that means!
We took Monty and Wendy out this morning and they were both good little ferrets on the way to the beach but we did hear a squeak or two on the way back home!

Come on, sniffs this way!
The grass has gone a funny brown colour, not the normal green we are used to!

Old Two Legs got a call from one of his customer about their radio system 'wasn't working' so as normal, they were all in a panic and wanted him to attend..........NOW!

OTL said that he was working but would call in as soon as possible.

Then he took us for our midday walk!

I mean, things don't come more important than us woofers!

Down on the Sea Wall Holly was enjoying watching the ships go up the Thames and watching the sea gulls plonking around in the mud looking for their lunch.

Well, I wouldn't eat from that lot!
Eric, who had joined us for our lunchtime walk, agreed and said that you really had to be in trouble if you were going to eat muddy food!

I'd much prefer a Wriggly Mouse or a Shrew!
Eric joined me in hunting for wriggly things in the grass but he made just too much noise and scared all the mouses off!

Look, clear off and find your own wriggly!
When we got back to the football field Holly found wot she called a 'Super Sniff' and proceeded to have the most wriggly roll, in front of OTL!

Let's see him try to wash off this sniff!
Miss May is still causing havoc when OTL tries to put the drops in her eye, we think OTL has had more than she has!

Tomorrow we got Alun and Glynis arriving for the weekend and they all are off to the Kent County Show but without us woofers!

Not that we mind too much, Auntie Sheila will be looking after us and making sure we don't get into too much trouble!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty.

  1. Yo maties. Glad you've all had a good day, not sure that I'm all that keen on this hot sun though. Poor OTL, fancy having to go to work in this heat. I'm glad to hear that he puts you lot before moaning customers though, I mean your walk is much more important. They've cancelled the Dogfest that was due to be on near us this weekend because of the heat, we was thinking of going but me and my mum don't do heat so we'd already decided not to go. Loved the pictures today. Now I don't mind a bit of mud with a morsel, mind my mum goes crackers if she spots me trying to eat anything wot she ain't fed me. Hope OTL is getting enough of the drops in May's eye even if he gets a bit more than she does. Enjoy having your visitors, visitors usually means muggings. I went out for a walk early this morning but I didn't go far, my mum thought we were going to go up the shops but I turned round when we got a few houses down from here and went back. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. What I fear with all this heat is that suddenly the temperature will plummet and we will all be freezing. I hope OTL didn’t get too hot having to work but he got his priorities right with his “dog walking duties” you couldn’t spend all day with your legs crossed. Oh lovely, visitors, must mean a few plawn quackers because TM won’t want to display her culinary prowess too often unless it is tea and toast with her new electrical appliances. May and Monty seem to be going in the right direction that’s great news, don’t forget to line up quietly when these visitors come and show them those poor starving faces, Holly had better position herself slightly behind the sofa, well a lot behind the sofa you don’t want them thinking she looks overfed! Lovely pictures today even with brown grass xxxxxx
