Monday, Fun Day!

Hello Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

We had a nasty scare this morning. We were heading for the Sea Wall, along past the dead nettles and brambles when we heard what Old Two Legs described as a 'Wailing' sound coming from the bushes.

We did some investigating and found that there were loads of snails all hanging onto the stalks and sounding sort of 'Hysterical'!

We found out that they were expecting a Tsunami to wash up the beach today and wash everything away!

Now, these Bozo Snails said that there was going to be all manner of doom and stuff last week and what happened?

Nuffin!

Holly said it was a case of 'Snail Hysteria' but as they run so slowly, normally the catastrophe has taken place before the snails could do anything about it. Like, this Tsunami was supposed to happen yesterday evening!

Doomed! We are all Doomed!
Mind you being late didn't stop them from climbing all the way up overnight!

Get Off and find your own boat!
Holly and I left them to it and headed for the water, trouble was, it hadn't come back in yet!

So much for a catastrophe!

I think they all have a doom complex!
Lunchtime we took Wendy and Monty out for a run. It was warmish but not too hot. They hadn't been out for some months so a trip around the sea shore was a pleasant change and they g=had a great time sniffing the sniffs!

The clouds were still holding some rain drops and you could see where the aeroplanes had left their trails!

Planes and Rain in the wind!
There were clouds over Essex but not too much rain.

Wonder if it will be cool enough for Eric tomorrow?
With a bit of luck it will be May and Eric's turn tomorrow and providing it doesn't rain, they will be out with us tomorrow morning!

Must go, dinner is being served, OTL's dinner, and we want a bit!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Well wot an interesting day you've had, all them snails wailing about the disasters wot didn't happen. We had a bit of a thunder storm last night, well I say a bit of a storm, me and my mum were woken up but a clap of thunder but we both turned over and went straight back to sleep so we'll have to ask the boy when he gets home if there were any more claps of thunder, he'll know cos he was still up and he does like a storm. There was some smashing sniffs in the garden this morning, the rain made them all nice and fresh so I spent quite a bit of time rolling round the garden to collect a few sniffs. My mum was jumping up and down and telling me to stop but by the time she got to me I'd collected as much sniff as I wanted. Well there hasn't been any pesky foxes in the garden last night, perhaps they don't come out when it's wet, they might not like getting wetted. Smashing pictures again from OTL. Glad Monty and Miss Wendy managed to get out and have a sniff around. I've been supervising my mum today making sure she's getting enough exercise and we had a short siesta as well. My boy is on late duty today so I can have a wrestle with him when he gets home. Hope that sea comes back soon so you can get a dip in it. My mum had a Kate and Sidney pie for her tea, not sure yet wot she's going to cook for my boy but I hope it sniffs as nice as her pie did although she reckons it wasn't up to much. Hope OTL likes his dinner and I hope you managed to snaffle a bit of it. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippersxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Those poor snails spend ages climbing up to a safe height and when nothing happens they have to climb all the way back down again, at least the bees and things can just fly about and woofers can jump. How fun that Wendy and Monty could get out today sniffing the sniffs and I do hope that Eric and May manage a little amble in the bushes tomorrow. Michael has been fixing the tap in the van today after going to West Malling to splash the cash and all done without the ☔️ rain. TM has been busy on Faceache showing her lovely work, I love the shimmering foil ones, so pretty.
Now Holly, where is your Tide Timetable you must get OTL organised to go when the water is there for your sister to have a paddle, I know you don’t like water but you don’t have to go in! Archie has had another busy day but this time catching damp sniffs much better than violets ehhhh. xxxxxx
