Well, by the time you read this the day will be almost gone, but wasn't it a super day anyway!
First thing this morning the clouds were rolling in but we seemed to have a sunny blue bit over the top of us when went out for the morning stroll along the Sea Shore. Mind you, it didn't last long 'cos we saw wot looked like a storm over the North East Kent coast!

Holly and I were having a good sniff while Old Two Legs was trying to get young Eric to get started. He just loves a good run but has problems getting started!
Finally he got going and Holly and I were given our orders to get going up the grass path!

Lunchtime OTL was still working away because it is 'Month End', as if we didn't know, but he was talking about his business rather than the fact that today is the last day of Summer!
Tomorrow it will be the first day of Autumn so we expect that we will be expecting all the leaves to be falling off the trees soon!
Miss Wendy and Monty were woken up, dressed in their harnesses and off we went to see if the storm had moved!
Yep! It had gone off to some other part of the world!
When we got out of the car there was the sniff of newly mown grass!
Now this is a problem.
You see, all the sniffs are on the blades of grass but after the mower has been across them, they get all chopped up and mixed up something rotten!
It takes ages to get back to a decent patchwork of sniffs!

Yo maties. It's been a nice day here as well, sometimes it's been a little bit cloudy but it hasn't rained at all. I went up the shops to see Brenda and get my treats and cuddles. I didn't want to come home so I decided to picket the door to the shop, people were having trouble getting in and out but I wasn't moving and my mum couldn't pick me up cos she had her hands full. Brenda had to come out and pretend she was going to walk home with me. My mum wasn't impressed and I got a bit of an ear bashing. Me and my mum had a nice siesta after lunch. Smashing photos today, looks like Holly found a sniff that she liked and wanted to bring home with her. Good news that the vet didn't charge for the pee pot, I should think it should be free, they're getting a bottle of your wee for free. Shame about the doggie scoff though, now that's not really on is it, fancy giving you that for your lunch. Hope you get some decent muggings tonight to make up for it. Have a lovely evening all. ReplyDeleteSo you are telling me that not only is it Month End but Summer End as well, you right cheered me up, that together with the fact that I had to turn the light on in the kitchen at 7-30 this evening! The electrical people will be rubbing their hands together! The mowing people should not mix up all the sniffs, can’t they cut it in such a way as to leave the weasel sniffs together and away from the rabbit sniffs, that would make your life easier. So I see that after visiting the vet about your “Problem” you get doggie scoff whilst OTL gets a Free wee bottle, just not fair. Lovely pictures today, I see you keep an eye on Monty, well done 💗. The weather has been nice here although it didn’t start out good, positively warm when I was out, perhaps we will get a bit more summer for the holidays. Archie was playing pickle again, mind he doesn’t get banned and tied up on the post outside. Hope the Pepper Teabread isn’t too hot to handle, you must let me know, hope TM doesn’t get into too much trouble, she does her best, she does try, some would say she is very trying but she is well meaning, poor TM 💕 xxxxxx
