Another Lazy Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

I don't know about you but today has been all sunshine and balmy breezes!

The Missus got up early'ish this morning and she managed to wake everyone up. You know, lights being switched on and off, crashing about in the 'store room' and marching up and down the stairs with her hob nailed wellies!

We were not amused!

It ended up with Old Two Legs getting up a whole ten minutes earlier than normal!

Down on the sea front the sun was still sleeping but we did see the glow in the sky and because there were no clouds it looked gently dramatic, if you know what I mean!

When OTL first got up it was still dark and when he looked out of the bedroom window he could see the Orion star cluster, all lit up like a Christmas tree!

Here comes The Sun, in about half an hour or so!
We didn't mind 'cos at that time in the morning there were no other woofers around and young Eric could run and play where ever he wanted to without worrying about woofers with big teeth!

Mind you, that is not what happened when we went out again at lunchtime.

Being a Sunday, and sunny and not raining, we had all the tourists marching up and down the sea front. There seemed to be woofers attached to each of the tourists and OTL had to keep his eyes open and be alert for any dangers.

In fact we were all alert, you know Lerts can be just as troublesome as Nargles!

I got all sneaky, you see, OTL was watching all these tourists and strange woofers but he was not keeping his eyes on me and I did a 'Sneaky' on him.

I headed off to the beach and had a quick 'Deep Paddle'. Honest, I was really looking out for these Lerts and it was a good job 'cos we don't want any trouble with Lerts while the ferrets are having a sniff in the grass!

Me, being sort of A Lert!
Back home OTL has been 'Manufacturing' and packing things up ready for the carriers tomorrow. After he had finished, Miss May started rattling on the cage door, that means she wants to go out!

So, leaving us in doors, he took May out over the football field for a run around. Well, May can't really run too far, had a small wander and a roll in the grass, then she has a carry with OTL, then she gets down for another roll and a run, after which she goes back for a carry and then another small run and a roll.

After all that, she stays in OTL's arms and they head back home for a snooze, May that is!

We spent the rest of the afternoon watching the recording of F1 Qualifying, all ready for the race tonight.

I've just seen the food bowl...............Doggy Scoff again!

See you tomorrow and don't forget, we want loads of songs!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Wotcha maties. Sounds like you've had an interesting day, I must remember to keep my eyes peeled for lerts round here, I haven't come across any just yet though. Loved the pictures, maybe there was a lert in the sea and you had to chase it off. Sorry to hear about the doggie scoff and being woke up early this morning. I had a nice walk but didn't bump into any of my mates, I reckon they were all having a Sunday lay in. I'm up early tomorrow for guard duty cos my mum is working. My mum has been flinging the glue and glitter today for her Xmas cards. Don't worry about tomorrow, my song is all composed now. Have a lovely evening all. 3. You must get TM some little knitted covers for her hobnail wellies, I will ask at Craft to see if anyone has a knitting pattern or you may need to get OTL to measure them so that a pattern can be devised. Great to hear that Miss May wanted to have a little wander, I expect OTL enjoyed the little outing.
The Lerts need minding and pleased that they are in safe paws even in the water you are very brave to chase them away. The good weather brings out all sorts, good and bad so I hope your beach hasn’t been left with too much rubbish from careless. TLs xxxxxx
