Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
It's been a funny old day today. The Missus overslept by a couple of hours, Old Two Legs said it was the booze!
We were out good and early as well but we were still up before the sun poked it's nose over the horizon.
At the point where we turn back to the car OTL took a picture of a ship leaving on the morning tide.

Mind you, we will be getting an extra hour in bed!
As we got back to the car, we looked back to see the sun shining on the clouds and aeroplane vapour trails!

Mind you, OTL says that when he grows up he'll be a 'Ferret of Leasure'!
Down on the grass he was having a great time hunting, there were slugs and snails but after a sniff decided that were not for eating and then tried hunting mouses and shrews instead!

These two just like to keep up with us and of course, if Holly and I get involved in a good sniff they will wander on a bit then sit down to wait for us!

Well, he said he had some Cat5 cables!
Just wait, one day we'll get him with our Sub Woofers!

Yo maties, you had me worried for a minute there Daisy, I thought you were going to say that OTL had brought 5 cats to live with you. Phewwwww, thank goodness I read it wrong. Well it sort of rained here this morning, not lots of rain but drizzly rain so my mum put my coat on and off we went out of the front door, well I got to the top of the path and stopped, I refused to go any further, then I spotted Sonia who lives across the road so I decided to be brave and pop across and say a quick hello before I headed back in doors. My mum went off and did some shopping and dropped some in to Brenda and my mum told me that little Millie had a chap woofer caller called Teddy there, Teddy is going to live with Brenda and Millie for a month while his mum goes into hospital. Loved the pictures today and I'm pleased to hear that Monty and Wendy don't try to take a taste out of your tails. I bet you got a shock this morning when you found that Mrs TM had had a lay in, no lights going on and off, no banging around, it must have been bliss for you, I just hope that she didn't kick you off the bed though. My boy is going to have a couple of days off, he's taking some of his holiday time because he didn't get any sleep last night, he's got a nasty cough and he's sneezing and his nose is hot and dry and he looks quite poorly. Me and my mum are looking after him and making a fuss of him, so when my mum goes to work tomorrow afternoon, I'm in charge and I'll be making sure he rests in between wrestling with me. I can't have him over doing things. My mum is cooking his favourite dinner tonight, beefburgers, cos he loves them, I'm sure if he can't manage them that I know a woofer who will help him. ReplyDeleteNow Daisy you should know that OTL only does things in even numbers, he might get 4 cats or 6 cats but never, ever 5 cats. Looking forward to seeing some good sun rises at the end of the month, tune the camera up ready and go for it. I wonder where that ship was going, somewhere exciting and foreign no doubt.
ReplyDeleteI hope Archie was careful if he did get any beefburger that there wasn’t a worming tablet lurking like you had in yours. We were hopeful of a nice day out but it even tried to rain so that was that, maybe tomorrow xxxxxx
