Home Again!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are, back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

Well, the trip back was long and boring, I mean, it was so boring we slept almost all the way back. Except for the Wee 'n' Poo stop on the M6 Toll Road Service Station.

It is the only service stop we have found with a proper area for us doggies and is around half way between home and Gretna!

We pull in there and park up with the big trucks and Old Two Legs gives us all a walk, woofers and ferrets!

OTL said it was about four hundred miles from Gretna to our home and pulling the caravan made him just a little tired by the time we parked up on the drive!

Holly and I did the inspection of the house and garden, just to make sure it was all as we had left it while OTL and The Missus emptied all the stuff out of the caravan.

OTL said that if he stopped he would fall asleep and not wake up until tomorrow!

Today, we have been putting away all the stuff while OTL has been catching up on all the post that arrived by postman and Email!

It's amazing just how much rubbish there was!

There was also some orders that needed to be made up and by the time this evening came OTL had got them all ready to send off to the carrier tomorrow.

There was a letter from the doctors telling OTL to make an appointment to get stabbed with the flu vaccination, so an appointment was made for the wend of the month. OTL says that there is a new flu virus going around that is different from last year but they can't get the correct flu vaccination so he has to have the stuff from last year!

The ferrets have had a run out, well except Miss May who is now a little old lady, so she stays in bed while young Eric comes out with us!

We reckon that by the end of this week OTL should have caught up with all the paperwork and stuff and we'll be back to normal,  almost!

We're going to have another early night tonight, I think we all need a snooze after the holiday!

Like Archie Babe, we didn't get any sausages, just Doggy Scoff but we did have some Chinese in Gretna, Plawn Clackers and King Plawns as well!

TM got her bottle of Bubbly Giggle Juice as well, I mean, she was almost tiddly by the time she had finished the bottle!

See you tomorrow and we may even get a picture or two!

Hey, have you seen Eric nicking a bag of 'Smoothies'?

Eric and the Smoothie Bag

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. I'm so pleased you're all back home safe and sound. Wot a shame poor OTL has had to come back to all that work, it's not fair, the poor chap needs a rest after all that driving. Hope everything at home was just as you left it and no nargles have taken up residence. My mum was stabbed with the flu jab while you were away, it's her first one but she still has a wet nose and glossy coat so there were no ill effects. Now I was dragged to the groomers this morning and I was wetted and nearly drowned and the blow dried til I was nearly a crisp and then brushed and combed and had a manicure. Now I'm not a happy bunny and I don't like my mum!!! She and my boy were watching a Star Wars film, the last Jedi and they thought they were being very funny, my mum kept calling me Jabba the mutt, my boy kept coming out with my the scoff be with you! Wot a pair of daft things they are, happy I wasn't!!!! My mum was saying she sympathises with Miss May and says she'd like to stay in bed cos she's knocking on a bit as well. Hope you all got a good snooze last night, back in your own proper beds with room to stretch out. Hope you all have a good evening and a good rest tonight. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (very upset and very grumpy) Arch and the Nippers (and they can shut up taking the mick as well!!!) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Nice to be finding you at home but poor OTL needs a holiday after he has sorted out all the jobs caused by the holiday. I think you had better have holidays in Margate, it’s not so far to travel, doesn’t involve the M25 and he can always pop home to do a few odd jobs leaving you all in residence in the caravan. Poor little Miss May needing her rest now especially after the travelling.
Glad you managed a nice walk around the services and it is a rest from driving around. The Scottish Chinese, hope it was as good as English Chinese, maybe their doggie scoff is different in Scotland! I have been catching up on all the work holidays make, a big pile of post turned out to be a couple of magazines, a bill, a letter telling us how much water we have used in 6 months and junk, junk, junk. It keeps the postman in a job and gives the rest a bit of exercise. Have a good Wednesday, no doubt Archie has ruffled himself up a bit and decided to have some food, he is a case, he really is. xxxxxx
