It's WET!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here on a wet Monday!

After all of the super weather we have had this year, it looks like the 'normal' weather is back. Over night we were woken by the rain drops on the window and the dripping of the water, over the gutter and down onto the window ledge!

It didn't help to have The Missus bouncing around in bed and kicking both Holly and I off the bed!

As normal, it was pitch black when we went out for our morning walk and the rain was just finishing.

Old Two Legs decided to leave the camera at home 'cos he didn't want to get it all wet. It didn't matter 'cos the sun stayed behind the clouds and to be honest, there was nothing to see at all!

Eric was doing his favourite trick of waiting for Holly and I to catch up and then hurrying us up to get back to the car before it rained again!

Lunchtime the rain had eased off so Wendy and Monty were out with us. Monty walked all the way from the car, across the football field and all the way down to the Sea Wall. It was at that point he went looking for Nargles!

I think I've found one, I'm sure it's a Nargle, I know it's a Nargle!

After a good ferret around and a lot of snuffling he lifted his head and said.........

It's run away!
That's the trouble with Nargles, they always run away!

Looking at the weather forecast, we should be getting some better weather over the next few days.

On our way around the walk today we met up with a bird watcher who complained that he hadn't seen any geese on the mud flats and I must say that the Brent Geese normally turn up at the end of September and the Canada Geese are normally here by now.

I reckon all the geese have stayed on holiday 'cos the weather has been so warm this year!

So, have a look at the area where you live to see when the winter birds arrive!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. We had lots of rain last night as well, this morning it rained but not as much as last night, it's stopped now thank goodness cos I don't do wet. Me and my mum got woken up by the rain and my boy, sneezing and blowing his nose like a fog horn. Little Eric is funny trying to herd you and Holly chops along. Good to see that Monty is using his hunting skills. Now wot's this about Mrs TM kicking you and Holly off the bed????????? Oi, Ref, bad form!!!!! You tell Mrs TM that this is the time when Santa Paws starts taking note of who's naughty and nice and he don't come to TL's wot kick woofers off the bed. You know if my mum did that I wouldn't let her sleep on my kingsize bed, she'd have to curl up in one of them little beds on the floor. Nice pictures of Monty today, good job the nargle run away cos I reckon them nargles are giants and giants might decide to have a nibble on a passing little ferret chap. My boy is off work tomorrow and Wednesday so I hope he feels up to a few wrestles with me, my mum is working tomorrow morning so when she's out she don't know wot we get up to, well unless one of us snitchs on the other one. Hope you all have a lovely evening and plenty of muggings. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. We had a thick mist all day, the weather forecast said after some low cloud it would brighten in the afternoon, well all I can say is the cloud was too low to pick itself up and if it ever did it was dark by then. Tomorrow says less cloudy so I await the morning to see how many shades of grey we manage up here, up being height above sea level and not up like Watford Gap and Scotland.
It is good fun hunting nargles and probably more fun not to find any, Eric is doing a good job or herding and looking after you, I think he has put himself second in command after OTL. Michael left his camera at home as well although if TM looks on faceache she will see the picture taken on his phone of my door mirror being occupied by a big wet cobweb. Get a grip tonight and don’t let TM push you off the bed, it is more your bed than hers after all who sleeps on it the most. Don’t get too wet tomorrow and hoping you get some nice nosh. xxxxxx
