A wet one for us woofers!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

This morning we woke up to the gentle 'Pitter Patter' of rain drops lashing against the windows of the house, that plus the crashing of The Missus getting all 'Inspired' in the craft room!

Why does crafting have to be so noisy!

Eric was awake and so was Miss May but both of them declined the offer of a run along the sea front!

That didn't stop Old Two Legs from dragging Holly and I out for our morning constitutional!

He didn't take the camera but really it wasn't worth it anyway 'cos it was too dark, too wet and there was nothing to see anyway!

Lucky for us, OTL kept a weather eye open and was consulting the rain radar and just like him, he spotted a 'Window' in the weather, so, at eleven thirty we were of together with the ferrets Monty and Wendy.

'How's yer belly today?'  'Not Bad, yours OK?'  Yeah, feels OK today!'
We got down to the beach to see a small yappy little Puppy making a terrible noise, I mean, just how much noise can one mini woofer make?

I'm orf, too much noise around here!
We headed up the grass path followed by the ferrets and of course, Monty just had to try to be helpful!

'Hey! Yer bum looks OK today!' .....................'Thank you Monty, a little louder, they didn't hear that in Southend!'
When we got back to the field there was evidence that the Moles had been at work again, Monty did his best to sort out the moles but no matter  how hard he dug he just couldn't find a mole!

Here Molly Mole, Monty wants to see you!
We met up with the three Basset Hound Types who scare the woof out of me but today they were well behaved. Their Two Legs gave OTL a ferret carry bag and some harnesses for the ferrets. They all looked brand new!

The TL used to keep ferrets and he had a load of ferret stuff in the cupboard that he reckoned could go to a good home, ours!

When we got home OTL tried a harness out on Wendy and it looks like it will just right for her. OTL says he will spend some time adjusting the harness so it won't come off the ferrets and then try them out on the football field behind our house!

Today OTL and The Missus headed off to the TL Vet to get stabbed with anti flu stuff. I suppose it is really like a worming tablet but the get stabbed instead of getting a pill buried in a cheese biscuit with some cream cheese dolloped on the top to hide it!

I know all OTL's tricks!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

  1. Wotcha little maties. Well we had lots and lots of rain today, I declined all offers of a walk cos as you know I don't do wet. I don't know why my mum keeps trying to get me out when it rains. Even my boy tried but I politely refused his offer so he went off on his own. I don't know why my mum bothered with the leaves yesterday cos this morning when I dashed into the garden, it was full of them again. I decided to have a lazy day seeing as how it was all wet and cold outside so I spent most of it curled up on the sofa under a throw, that way my mum can't see me and she can't get the lead on me either. I'm pleased to hear that the grumblies have gone, isn't Monty helpful telling you yer butt looks alright. I wonder if he's looking for moles to inspect their butts. My mum and my boy are having fish and chips for their dinner tonight. I hope you got some decent scoff tonight. Hope you all have a nice snuggly evening and I hope the rain stays away tomorrow. Loved the pictures today. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. I suppose a pitter patter on the window is better than the pitter patter of more tiny ferret feet. Today I saw a calendar of Ferrets, you know they do the usual Gardens, Boxer Dogs, Kittens, Motorbikes but I have never noticed Ferrets but at £9.99 it was a bit overpriced! So glad the Butt Report was favourable but you would like it to have been less broadcast. Nice for OTL to be given ferret stuff, kind of the TL not just to discard it. We went to Tunbridge Wells today via buses, it takes an hour and a quarter from Maidstone to Tunbridge Wells but coming back it took from 3-55 pm to 6-20 pm so it was after 7 pm by the time we went from Maidstone to the car and then drove three mikes home, still had a nice dinner in Wetherspoons, chicken and pork ribs while Michael and Margaret had steak and kidney pudding. Hope you have a peaceful start to the day Thursday maybe TM will be deep in thought and you will only hear the gentle tick, tick, tick xxxxxx
