Saturday Fun.

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Today we were up early 'cos Old Two Legs reckons it was going to be wet this morning, you know, rain!

We stuck our noses out of the curtain and yes, the ground was wet, but no sign of rain. We told Eric and he decided that he would go back to bed and have another snooze until Holly and I got back!

We didn't mind, at least the walk could be a bit quicker than our normal walk where we have to wait for him to catch up!

We left the camera at home 'cos the clouds were covering the sky and we just knew that the sun was still fast asleep!

Snuffling along the top path Holly was laughing about how all the ferrets were convinced that there were Nargles in the undergrowth amongst all the sniffs!

As we were passing one clump of bushes a little voice squeaked out that there were more than Nargles here in the dark places!

Well, that was it, Holly sat down with a thump and started to do her 'Deep Growl' which is reserved for strange woofers and things she doesn't like 'cos they may be dangerous!

It was then that we saw what had spoken!

I recognised it straight away, it was a Bowtruckle! Now we have never seen a Bowtruckle before and Holly was just a little concerned that it was dangerous to woofers! I did say that it was like a walking talking salad and just how dangerous can a salad be but Holly was being careful!

Nargles? It's Bowtruckles you have to be careful of!
I remembered that Bowtruckles could pick locks and stuff like that, very useful if you get locked in the loo!

I remember from the movie that there were other creatures as well, like  the Niffler who just loves shinny money and gold bars! Come to think of that, so does The Missus but she doesn't look like a Niffler!

A Junior Niffler looking for money!
Holly said that she doesn't ever get locked in the loo and all her savings were in Bitcoin so would be of no interest to Nifflers!

With that she was off looking for rabbits 'cos she reckons she knows how to deal with creatures like that and any way, who had ever heard of a talking salad!

By then the Bowtruckle had gone back into the undergrowth and I was busting for a wee, so I had other things on my mind!

Just for a change, we didn't take Wendy and Monty up to the village hall 'cos today Rosie wasn't doing any crafting and OTL wanted to watch the rugby match on the TV plus we also wanted to watch the F1 racing, so it was a race back home before it all started!

TM came back from her Master Class and gave us a present from Rocky, it was a birthday present that had a super sniff to it! We opened it up and found two packs of Doggy Sausages and some Woofer Chock Drops!

Guess what we will be nibbling tonight?

Talking of nibbles, I just fancy a Choc Drop, so, bye bye for now and see you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  1. Yo maties. Well it seems that the monsters were out quite a lot in the rainy weather today, I'm glad I didn't come across any of them. Now I reckon that there aren't any nifflers around here cos we haven't got any gold bricks so they wouldn't get any decent pickings from our house. Now if I came across that bowtruffle chappie I would have eaten him cos I know green stuff is good for you. I'm quite partial to things wots got leaves on them. My mum went shopping this morning and she says she's bought one of my presents, she showed my boy but she wouldn't let me see so I don't know wot it is and I couldn't sniff anything out. My boy treated her to a Chinese take away tonight, they had plawn clackers and king plawns but I didn't get any, how mean is that. I liked the pictures OTL took today, I reckon that niffler looks a bit like a mole so watch out that Eric doesn't spot it. Sounds good getting a nice sniffy tasty present. I'm off to bed early tonight cos my mum is working in the morning and my boy is working tomorrow so I don't know if he'll come and snuggle me when my mum goes out. Enjoy your treats and stay warm and snuggly this evening, it's raining cats and frogs here. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. I shall be sure to stay away from where you live, that talking salad looked very big to me, at least as tall as OTL and as for the Niffer it looked kind of cute as a picture but could grow as big as a hippo so I shall stay away. I went out this afternoon playing a game called something like rumicube, lots of little plastic tiles with numbers in different colours. I managed to work it out and will be invited again, a game suitable for age 7+ so that shows how clever I am. Don’t get wet tomorrow, we have just had pouring rain and thunder so it dampened the fireworks that had been going on. Have a good day tomorrow xxxxxx
