The gangs back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
Last night Holly was telling us that we had it all wrong, it's not Cat Racks it is Cattle Racks!
Now how you could get a cow in your eye is beyond me but Holly says she knows wot she is talking about!
I reckon she knows things but in this instance I might agree with Wendy when she says Holly is talking from under her tail!
Well, it hasn't been very nice today, I mean, it was raining when we woke up and it hasn't really stopped all day!
We left the ferrets at home first thing so we had Old Two Legs to ourselves for a change.
As soon as we got out of the car, we wanted to get back in!
It was not nice, it was wet, it was damp, it was yuck!
Back home we got the Doggy Towel treatment and then got wrapped up in a blanket and put on the bed to get over the shock!
Normally it is Eric who comes out in the morning but OTL said that as it was so wet he could stay in bed.
When it's raining this is the best place to be! |
Eric tried complaining but OTL insisted and off we went.
As we got closer to the car park, the rain started again, OK, maybe not so much but it was still wet!
Eric stayed inside the ferret bag and only poked his nose out every so often to get his nose wet then back down again!
When we got to the Sea Wall, OTL digs Eric out and says he can walk back to the car!
Do you realise just how uncomfortable it is dragging your tummy over cold, wet, concrete! |
When we got to the football field OTL tried to convince Eric that it was fun running through the wet grass.
It may be fun for you, you've got boots on! |
It was when we were twenty feet away from the car that Eric got down, did a wee and ran the last few feet to the car!
Back home we got another rub down with our Doggy Towels before heading up to our beds is OTL's room. With all the stuff he has in the office it was nice and warm and we soon were fast asleep!
OTL has been arranging for a man to come around to fix the rear light on the caravan where OTL reversed into the wall in the Gretna Green campsite, you would have thought that after all the years we have stopped there he would have known where the wall was!
Mind you, it won't be long before we get onto the Internetty Thing to book our pitch. We do love that 'cos then we can slowly count down the weeks to our holiday.
But now, all we are doing is counting down to Christmas!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
Yo maties. Hasn't it been a horrible day today, it rained all day here, nasty wet rain and very chilly. Now I had a problem during the night and had a grumbly tum so I had to keep getting up and going for a poo and it was raining and I wasn't very happy cos I had to keep getting out of my nice warm bed and going out in the cold wet rain. My mum took me to the vets this morning and I got cuddles along with the cold thermometer put where the sun don't shine but I'm alright, I've got the bung up powders to take and my medication has been altered a bit so I get a bit more of my steroid tablets and I'm ok to fight with my boy now. My mum has been giving me short rations, which I'm not happy about. My boy is going to look after me tomorrow when my mum goes to work, just in case I need to go out in the garden but we'll probably just end up having a wrestle. I don't blame Eric for not wanting to walk in this weather, I wouldn't go for a walk cos I don't do wet. I had to have my butt squeezed at the vets but I was very brave and I got a treat for being such a good boy. I've had a lovely siesta this afternoon with my mum cuddling me. Now, about these cat racks and cattle racks ........... Holly chops might have a point, maybe big people have cattle racks and smaller people have cat racks, either way I don't want any in my house. Wendy might want to be careful in case Holly sits on her and she gets a front row seat at wot comes out from under Holly's tail. I hope you got a decent hot scoff after being taken out in such horrible weather. Poor OTL, he'll have to dip into his wallet again to pay the man to fix the light wot got broken on the wall wots always there at Gretna. Hope you all have a lovely snuggly evening, I'm going to snuggle down under the throw on the sofa now cos I'm a bit weak from not enough scoff. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (snoozy) Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteThat Eric isn't silly unless he is installed inside a wet suit that keeps him dry the best place is in bed or in the ferret bag. How sweet all cuddled up and warm, I don't see you and Holly getting all this way and that in one bed, Holly takes up too much room. I suppose OTL is getting a bit forgetful now and forgot where the wall was from last time, he will need some big rubber pads tied on the caravan to protect it from stray walls.Tomorrow is supposed to be nice so hopefully we will be able to go out for a little while. Feeling tired now so going to have a sleep. xxxxxx
