Speedy Miss May!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Have we had a lucky escape today!

Old Two Legs was planning on giving Holly and I a wash 'n' dry and hair cut!

When we were out first thing this morning it was rather dark and foreboding plus the wind was whipping through the trees making even OTL shiver in his big warm jacket!

When the wind blows off the Medway or The Thames it can get right chilly!
We were grumbling at the thought of wash and especially the 'Blaster' that blows all the water off and freezes the bits that shouldn't be frozen!

We didn't hang about waiting while he took this one, too blooming cold!
After our walk we headed back to the car, only to be met by some of the lads who were just starting their walk!

Careful as you go around the corner lads, the wind will blow yer bits off!
Back home OTL was cleaning the cages when he got a call on the telephone from one of his customers. Seems they we having problems and needed OTL to call on them and get things 'Sorted'!

Now, this sounded like an opportunity for us!

OTL was chatting away and we heard him say that he would call on them 'This Afternoon'!

Yay! That was just super, no time for a wash and splosh!

The customer is the local Priory and that means OTL has to be on his best behaviour when he goes in there!

Well, by the time he got back it was almost evening and of course Holly and I were safe!

Tomorrow The Missus is off to the village hall so, if OTL gets all his jobs done PDQ then he may have time to do Holly and I.

Mmmm! I think that tomorrow we will have be a little mischievous and with a bit of luck get out of the 'Wash 'n' Splosh!

Let's face it, we don't want to end up like Archie Babe, bald and frozen!

Miss May is on her second day of her Convalescence Powder and to be honest, she was dashing around yesterday and this morning she was darting about like a rat up a drainpipe!

That Convalescence Powder seems to be doing her some good, three helpings a day seems to be doing her some good! Claws crossed she keeps in this good mood!

Hey, we didn't tell you about Bertie did we? Now, we haven't got the full story, but, there was this Doodle Dog who's Two Legs couldn't look after him for one reason or other and were looking to 'Re-Home' him.

So, being a very lucky woofer, he met up with Lawrence and Pat, (Pat is one of the glue slappers up the hall!)

Well, talk about fall on ya paws! Bertie Babe has settled down to a very happy life! He gets fed and watered and to repay the kindness, he is permanently on guard duty!

Bertie has spotted the 'Lesser Spotted Baggy Butt Postman' and gives him a seriously good woofing every day!

Who needs curtains when I'm on guard duty?
It's good to hear a happy tale like wot that that is, unlike the terrible thing that is going to happen to Holly and I.........................Wash, Splosh and Shaved!

Life can be so cruel to little woofers like wot we iz!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

  3. Wotcha maties. Well can I say how pleased I am that Bertie has found a good new home where he will be appreciated, let's hope he doesn't get put in the tub too often and blasted and shaved, I mean, who will guard when he's in the tub? Pleased also to hear Miss May is dashing about again, sounds like that new scoff is just the stuff. I'm glad to hear you and Holly chops didn't get washed and trimmed in this freezing cold weather, I'm still suffering from being scrubbed and trimmed. My boy wasn't very well this morning so I snuggled up to him and gave him the nurse Arch treatment and we had a good long snooze and he felt much better when he woke up. I'm up early again tomorrow so I'm having an early night tonight. Smashing pictures today. Hope Mrs TM enjoys her glue sloshing tomorrow, I managed to get hold of one of my mums smoothie type blending sponges today, I only chewed a little lump out of it, you should have heard the fuss she made ......... honestly, you'd have thought I'd chewed her foot off. Enjoy tomorrow with your paws up and hope that OTL doesn't find the time to do any spring cleaning of woofers. Have a lovely evening all, hope the muggings are good. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  4. That first picture is really lovely, all moody and wonderful. You were Saved by the Bell if only you could arrange another little problem which takes him away for a while you could keep your coats until the weather is warm. Another glue slapping day “On the Cards” (get it, on the cards) you must admit the ladies do turn out some lovely work, they slap glue in the right places. Good news for Bertie, he looks a nice fellow and fits in really nicely. Now Archie been having a nibble again, these smoothies seem irresistible to ferrets and Archie, have you and Holly had a try they might turn out to be like plawn clackers, don’t say I told you, I don’t want to get into trouble xxxxxx
