Hi Woofers!
It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret again.
What a day today has been!
The Missus took us out again this morning 'cos Old Two Legs is still playing silly whatsits again and going around in circles as normal!
Holly and I spent most of the morning snoozing on the bed, that was until lunchtime when OTL decided he needed a break and called Eric out of the cage to go for a walk.
Well, if Eric was going out then so were we and we all stood in line to have our harnesses put on. Eric being first then proceeded to try to make Holly and I jump around by pretending he was going to nibble out tails!
Finally we were all in the car and off we went.
It was a good walk, we ended down on the beach where OTL was throwing the ball for us and Eric was doing some digging of his own hole!
Now, because OTL decided to take Eric as well, he didn't take the camera and on top of that, he left the phone in the car as well!
Soppy OTL!
Not to worry, next stop is the vet!
Miss May didn't seem worried but Holly and I have long memories and we are not so easily fooled!
We first had to get on the weighing machine and like good woofers, we were both the same weight as the last time we got weighed!
Next, in to see the vet and Miss May got shoved to the front of the queue 'cos her tail needed an injection to numb it before the vet started to dig out all the muck and rubbish.
We tried to have a look but OTL and the vet were hunched up over May, OTL with the bottle of Ferretone and the vet with a hand full of things that hurt!
May got put back into the cage while we were attended to. Holly first who struggled and jumped and growled and wriggled but the vet still stuck that needle in!
Next it was my turn.
I had been watching and reckoned I could get out of this.
So, as soon as OTL reversed me around I did a quick jump and kicked my paws up, then the vet tried to stab me in my butt!
Not having that!
So I did another jump and this time I tried to climb up OTL's front, digging my claws in for extra grip!
OTL then decided that he would show me who was boss and grabbed me over my shoulders and around my chest, then his other arm came around, lifted my backside up and held me in mid air while the vet lunged at me and .............'ing 'ell'
I got stabbed!
When we got back in the car, both Holly and I gave OTL a licky kiss behind his ear, just to show we still loved him and forgave the pain and suffering he caused us.
Mind you, the receptionist caused OTL to weep, OTL's credit card almost caught fire!
The ferrets are due for a stabbing at the end of the month!
Now, that should be fun!

Yo maties. Sorry to hear you got stabbed today. Hope you're all over the trauma now although I know it can last for quite a while. Today Alfie came to play and my mum videoed us in the garden, that Alfie kicked up loads of the slate at me and I told his mum wot he did when she came to collect him, I mean that's no way to treat a friend is it. Alfie will be coming to stay next Tuesday and he'll be here for a week, he better not try that kicking slate at me again or he'll be sleeping in the garden. It's been very warm here today and my mum has been trying to finish the decorating, but it didn't go so well so she'll still be doing it again tomorrow. She reckons she must have shrunk since the last time she did it cos there's places she can't reach now that she could reach then. I'm pooped with all this decorating lark so I'm off to put my paws up before dinner. Hope OTL is recovering from his mugging at the vets. ReplyDeleteYou certainly let it be known that you didn’t want stabbing today but where did all your efforts get you.....No where, I rest my case 💗. I hope Miss Mays tail get better soon she seems to be suffering a lot. Now OTL is going round in circles, he best be careful or he will meet himself coming back. Archie has trouble from Alfie while his mum is shrinking away from her painting job, the whole world is in a turmoil it seems and the nights are definitely drawing in, ah well what can we do? There is a new Dragon tomorrow on Dragons Den who made her fortune on selling to Crafters, I wondered if TM knows of her and contributed to her wealth! Stay out of the wind and rain xxxxxx
