Hello Woofers!
Us again, McDaisy, MacHolly, McWendy and Eric de MacFerret!
Now, you all know that the view from the front of the caravan is the beach and a vast expanse of water!
Now there are plus and minus to this. If the sun is shining and the sky is blue the view is fantastic but when the rain s pouring down and the wind is blowing a gale, the best place to be is in bed!
This morning was one of those times, it had been pouring down all night and it kept waking us up!
Today is the day we take down the awning and pack up all the card making stuff.
Old Two Legs is good at this and The Missus also has her own ideas on where everything should go!
It’s only the technical bits like taking down the satellite system and DVD player that OTL has the edge on TM!
The ferrets were banned from the caravan while this was going on and spent most of the morning in the back of the car watching the world go by and calling to the birds in the bushes.
Finally all was done and the ferrets came back inside the caravan for a more comfortable snooze!
Now, today is Archie Babes Two Legs birthday, we know that ‘cos TM has told us, in fact she told us last week ‘cos she was making a special card and had to make sue she got it in the post early enough. In fact, OTL was instructed to ‘Get the card down to the post box!’
Which he did!
Now, what we can’t do is to send our birthday song by post, so, on the count of one hundred and twenty six...........5, 7, 126!
Happy Birthday Auntie Massey
Making cards will drive you crazy
Better stick to sniffin’ dog Poo
Happy Birthday to YOOOOOOOO!
We’re going to get Archie Babe to give her a big wet sloppy lick on the nose as soon as she has read our song!
We know how to treat the TL’s!
Tomorrow we plan to leave the camp site around six thirty, just so we can get past all the road menders who have been digging the road up over the last two or three weeks.
We are looking forward to the Chinese Take-a-Way and a bottle of bubbly and Plawn Clackers an deep fried Plawns!
We know how to live!
See you tomorrow when we get to Gretna.
Luv,
McDaisy, MacHolly, McWendy and Eric de MacFerret.
Yo McMaties. Well my mum loved the birthday song and says she just wishes you could hear you sing it in person. Wot a shame you have to pack up to come home, never mind, I bet the local cats are missing you all. I bet OTL and Mrs TM are experts in packing up by now, just make sure they pack all your stuff safely. Plawn clackers and bubbly sound very good to me. Now just exactly wot were Wendy and Eric calling the birds??? OTL did well with posting the lovely card that Mrs TM made and it got here yesterday right in time. Thank you to Sarn for your birthday wishes to my mum and also to Mr Mike and Mrs Sue for their wishes too. I'm going to plant a great big smacker on my mum very soon. Safe and pleasant journey towards Gretna and then from Gretna to home. I'll be listening out for your car singing songs on Monday. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch, the Nippers and my mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteOh dear lots of rain and road menders, we don’t have that much rain but road menders or gas pipe installers we do have. You go down the road and think wopee they have taken their traffic lights away, round the corner you see where they have moved them to! Packing away is an art in itself, Michael has read about someone who left the water switched on in their van and something fell over, knocked over something else which fell on the tap and emptied the water tank into their shower room/toilet, when they opened the van door out poured the water.
ReplyDeleteI don’t envy you leaving at 6-30 in the morning but hopefully it will be worth it and you do have the Gretna journey to complete. Hope the Chinese was yummy and you didn’t get too many bubbles up your nose. Archies mum must have had a lovely day with the cards, songs and nose licks, there’s nothing like a soggy lick from an enthusiast woofer to complete the day.
Good and safe journey to Gretna xxxxxx
