Hello Woofers,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
First day of November today and so far we haven't heard any Whizz Bangs! Maybe we won't hear any and we will have a Whizz Bang free November?
This morning it was dark and there was a fine misty rain that made Old Two Legs leave the camera in the car.
Back home the ferrets were snoozing in their cuddle cups. Yesterday we spotted the pair of them snuggled up together in the big cuddle cup and underneath a crumpled cotton pinafore.
It didn't last long and while OTL was working on the computer, Eric fell out of bed on his way down to have a wee. When he had finished he headed back to bed but climbed into the Cuddle Cup next to Wendy.
During the morning I got a terrible urge to eat grass and I worried OTL to take me out for a walk across the football field. I ate so much grass that OTL said that I was growing into a sheep!
Well, after getting back home I lost the interest in grass and eating it!
Lunchtime came and the rain was still in the air, so, no camera and OTL put his hood up on his rain coat!
We got to where we had left the Grain Rocks and found that they had marched off looking for another place to hide!
Later on, around a quarter to four we all sat down to watch the first practise, Holly was going Brrrm Brrrm all the way through the program.
The race is taking place in Texas and The Misses kept on saying 'I've been there' every time pictures of Texas came up on the screen.
A bit boring really!
See you tomorrow!
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
No-one likes a show off!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a very rainy day here too! Wonder where the Grain Rocks went to! Perhaps they're sheltering from the rain in Grain (which falls mainly on the Plain!).

Yo maties. Hope you're not getting a grumbly tum Daisy, some woofers eat grass when they feel the grumblies coming on. Mind, I'm very into healthy eating and my five a day, that's why I snack on the leaves of some of the plants in the garden, my favourite is the black eyed susan plant, them leaves a right yummy. Was Holly chops pretending to race, that's probably why she was saying brrrrrm brrrrrm, I bet she was in the lead. Yeah I know wot it's like when my mum sees something on telly and says things like .... I've been there, I know her/him, does get a tad boring. Well sounds like things is quiet in ferret towers and it's really good news, hopefully now Wendy has accepted Eric, or else she's thinking he won't get her a crimbo pressie if she's mean to him. Shame the grain rocks have gone and hidden themselves, maybe they don't like the rain either. Well my mum is off work now until next Friday and we're both so looking forward to the snuggles until a reasonable hour before we get up for the next few days. My mum is a bit peeved, she ordered some alcohol inks at the start of the week and they still haven't arrived, mind, I'm hoping she's not thinking of drinking them. Hope Mrs TM enjoys her crafty day tomorrow and that you all enjoy the racing. Have a lovely evening all, stay warm and cosy and hope them whizz bangs stay away as well. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteHappy November everyone perhaps it won’t be all dark and gloomy but I hope Godwin Towers has a peaceful time from whizz bangs and feuding ferrets. Those Grain Rocks have the right idea keeping out of the rain, after all a picnic spot is not the right place to sit in this weather. Have you heard anymore from Izzy I hope she is getting all strong 💖? Tomorrow is Rugby, F1 racing, Crafting and the Walderslade Church Fete, I hope England win, we don’t pay to watch F1, hoping the Glitter Splashers enjoy their cakes whilst I will be buttering rolls, well someone has to do it. Have a good Saturday 💖 💖 💖 💖
