Still Windy out there!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

I don't know what it is like where you live but we still got that wind! I would say that it is just as strong today as it was yesterday!

Holly and I had some fun this morning, as you know, some panels from the fence took flying lessons and came to a sticky end. So, Old Two Legs was asked if he would help next door put new panels in place. Well, you can imagine the fun they had, as the panel was lifted the wind got up and the panel was waving about all over the place. Then one panel was too small and the next was too big and there they were sawing bits off and then whacking the top to get the panel to slide down to the bottom!
In the end there was just two panels installed, the rest will get done tomorrow, providing the wind drops!

On the way out this morning we came across some mighty big puddles in the road. We tried to get a picture of a van going through the puddle but it kept slowing then speeding up.

Good job OTL got his wellies on!
Still we did get a picture of the cranes with the sun behind them! Holly says they look like monster dinosorearse!

Scary or Wot?

It's not often we get to photograph the pylons but as we had to stop to let traffic pass, OTL managed a quick 'Click' . Pity he  didn't stop a couple of feet earlier cos the sun would be behind the traffic sign!

Well, it's different!
Holly's paw is still being a pain and OTL may take her back to the vets tomorrow and you know what that means?

Out with the surgical instruments and the lump gets the chop!

OTL on the other paw gets the bill!

Lunchtime and it's still blowing, Holly is lucky in that the cone collar protects her from the wind, unless of course, she turns into the wind and then it makes her tail stand up!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Putting up fence panels is a right pain. My mum has had problems with them. Sometimes you have to saw bits off and sometimes you just have to wack them down. It's hard to hold onto them when they're up in the air, but I bet OTL had a right job with the gale blowing. It's a wonder Holly chops hasn't taken off with that collar on. That's a very big puddle in the picture. Smashing pictures of the dinosorearses. I went for a walk with Brenda and Milly this morning. It's been really windy here & I don't like it. I've been snuggling down under the bedspread at night. My mum is a bit miffed with me cos I found a tasty snack on my walk and then a passing bird dropped a bit of bread when I was in the garden so that was another snack. She's been making me wear my muzzle in the garden and she's just let me back out without it so now it's back to wearing it again. She says if I get a grumbly tum I will have to put up with it cos it's my own fault, that's not nice is it. I've been missing my boy today. Did you hear if that little ferret has been claimed yet. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Poor little darlings having to go out in the windy weather, especially Holly in that big wind funnel she has to wear. I hope that nasty lump gets sorted out soon so she can leave that thing at home in the cupboard. Those dinororearses do look menacing so they had better keep away from you. Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer while Thursday cold and wet so OTL had better get that fence job finished before Storm Dennis arrives, just occurred to me that the next storm will be female and beginning with an “E”, well we have two options, now won’t that be FUN!! Also OTL will miss out being a Storm. I see Archie has been up to mischief again eating gifts so has a muzzle, I don’t know what to say to him, he causes his mum so much grief and then expects snuggles, how can she resist. Well it is Wednesday morning (just) so I hope you ate all fast asleep ready for the day ahead, take care and watch out for flying things xxxxxx

  3. Was very wild and woolly over our neck of the woods yesterday and bitterly cold too! Like you, we tried to help a neighbour with her fence . . . but having another go at it today! Wind has dropped, sun is out, but it's still bitterly cold!

Hope the vet can help little Holly out.

    Keep your chins up xxx
