Woofin' Holly!

Hi There Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

We have some good news; Holly is woofing her tail off to go out for a wee and a poo. Since her operation she has been a little off, you know, not taking too much interest in what’s going on and even leaving food in her bowl for me to snaffle!

Well, today she has been showing me how the plastic collar can be used to whack Old Two Legs shins when she wants something. She also used it on me on the race to get a chew we spotted on the kitchen floor.

Holly is getting better!

Mind you, she has got to keep that collar on until next Monday when she goes to the vet to have the stitches removed.

It is still cold out there and the wind doesn’t help either!

One good thing though, for the second time this year the Brown jar has been pumping water into the pond! The Missus says that when she comes down in the morning and looks at the pond there is a lot of ‘activities’ coming from the pond, possibly froggy types or water snails rampaging around the pond!

With the temperature being what it is at the moment, they can keep the pond water, I’d rather stay in bed!

The sun has been out most of the morning and Holly decided she wanted to go out early for the lunchtime walk earlier than normal, so, that means we will need an extra walk and of course, OTL wants to do something on the computer while Holly and I just want a wee!

We didn’t hang about cos the clouds had come back and the wind was still cold!

Still it made a break and let's face it, today has been a 'Three Walk Day'!

For OTL it means an extra poo bag as well!

Result!

Mind you, I'll be glad when Holly gets her collar off 'cos that means we can get back down to the beach again and a decent run in the sand!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well I'm pleased to hear Holly chops is perking up. Now tell her the best place to catch OTL & Mrs TM is right behind the knees, you watch them TL's they go down like a ton of bricks when you aim the collar right, it's so funny & they don't see it coming. That's their punishment for making a poor woofer wear one of those nasty things. Mind they come in handy for covering up a stray morsel before anyone else can claim it. Last night when I went out for my last wee it was trying to snow. This morning the weather was brighter but very cold. My mum took my boy to the hospital so they could mug him for a few gallons of blood, then they popped up the shop and my boy popped across the road to the dentist, he had to fill out some forms so he brought them home then we all went for a walk to the dentist so my boy could take the forms back. He said there was lots of silly questions. It's been quite sunny but that wind almost takes your tail off. Hope you all have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Great news that Holly is perking up, fighting for food that’s good and extra walks and now she is getting to find the advantages in that cone because while it protects her paw it does damage to her foes! There’s Archie giving more advice, a right old agony uncle he is becoming, rather dubious advice sometimes as well. The weather forecast person has said that Friday could be zero degrees and the wind will be cooler, yes you read right, cooler, now come on, cooler than what. Do you have some brown paper and strong string then you can parcel up the cooler wind and send it off with OTL and Alun to Scotland. I hope Archies boy has recovered from his massive blood letting, he needs feeding well for the next week or so to recover. A nice warmish windless Thursday if you can find it and if you do then send some to me xxxxxx
