Soggy Soggy Skye!

Hello Woofers!

This is a very difficult way of doing my blog, I mean,I have to make loads of notes then send to Old Two Legs by the SMS telephone system and then he types up the news on the laptop he pinched from me!

Well, it has been raining today and both Holly and I have been having a race, who can do the biggest, quickest wee and a poo and get back to the house!

Today I won!

Because OTL is not around Eric has been a bit miserable cos he just loves playing chase with OTL and fighting his way out of plastic shopping bags, running up and over OTL's shoulder and then runs down his back and under the sofa!

The Missus is too busy cleaning the cage and changing the water!

Talking of water, did you know that the whisky in Scotland is called The Water of Life? well it does! Now, OTL is very fond of water and is always on the lookout for new or unusual 'water'!

Today, being very wet and rainy he decided to visit a distillary that may just have been in business long enough to sell whisky!

When he got there he found he was about a year too early!

So, he had a nose around the shop and found a whisky he had never seen before!

A Japanese whisky, blended and made in the same place as they make Saki!

As OTL says, 'you have got to try everything at least once before deciding if it is any good. That goes with food and all other stuff!

So.

Japanese, blended whisky!
He says that he and Alan will try it tonight after the fish 'n' chips!

Having made this purchase he felt that he should make things right and visit the oldest distillary on Skye and one of his most favourite places.

The place where the angels live!
OTL has always said that he wants to live with the angels cos they all get to have a slurp of the really good stuff before it's bottled!

Now tomorrow Alun and OTL will be off up to the top of Skye to see the rock formations and maybe even get a picture or two and then it's off to see Flora Mcdonalds grave, you know the one that starts of Fly Bonnie Boat like a bird on the wing etc.

OTL says he has visited the grave and has seen where visitors have pinched stones from around her headstone!

Naughty Naughty!

So, that's what has been happening today.

Lets hope tomorrow is drier than today!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well it's hissing down here at the moment. That signal on the SMS must have got very wet from your house to OTL up on Skye. I've been doing speed wees ' poos as well. I'm glad OTL typed your notes before he sampled that giggle juice. Now my mum says she thought it was speed bonnie boat but wot ever floats a ⛵ is ok. Now why would anyone want to go to see an old grave unless you wanted to find an old bone. I spose if it's raining it's probably better to find places to visit inside. If you can get some refreshment then so much the better. Couldn't Eric climb over Mrs TM while she's cleaning the poo in the cage. Hope all is well at Godwin towers, I'm sure you & Holly chops are doing good guarding. Me and my mum and my boy all watched Star Trek Picard together, there doesn't seem to be any Klingons in it. Hope we all have better weather tomorrow and OTL & Alun get to see the sights they want to see. Nice pictures of the giggle juice and the place where they make giggle juice. Have a lovely evening all. Love, licks, wags & sniffs from little Arch & the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  2. Hello damp and soggy little ones and big ones. Well it wasn't too bad weather wise until I left my friends house and it was raining and never stopped for the rest of the day. I hope TM is managing with all the extra work that OTL being away makes for her, still there is one less dinner to cook! I am sure she would be good at multitasking while making creations, scooping poo and caring for her family she could tuck in a few extra things. Poor TM, she loves it really. Maybe tomorrow you and Holly and even Archie will not need to rush about so much and have time for a more leisurely wee and poo. That Japanese whisky looks a bit suspect, still at least it isn't Chinese. Floating boats and birds on the wing, wow I thought they were looking for puffins! silly me I know nothing. Look after each other and I look forward to hearing all about it. xxxxxx

  3. Japanese whisky? Who knew?

Well done for reporting your day's tails(!) to OTL over SMS. That was very smart of you. Doesn't OTL take shorthand if you woofed down the phone to him?
