Dead Flat!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's good news, we can go back to work, providing you can't work from home!

Not that helps us much 'cos we work from home normally! Mind you, Old Two Legs will be out first thing on Friday to install a system that has been hanging around since the beginning of the lock down!

Well, that will keep him busy for a few hours!

Today it has been brighter although the wind is still there and as it comes in from the North Sea poor OTL ends up with his eyes watering and because of the grass pollen, he is sneezing his tail off!

Do you think OTL would like this sniff?
Lunchtime we were down the football field again and on the way to the football field both Holly and I were 'Talking' to OTL all the way and he was answering!

Not that we understood what he was saying and I don't suppose he understood exactly what we were saying but he was getting the message as we got closer to the car park!

Cloudy and windy, so, what's new?
It seems that there are more container ships heading up the Thames, so they are delivering or collecting!

Inbound and Outward bound, all at the same time!
The insect life is still pretty scarce but we are seeing one or two butterflies. This Speckled Wood Butterfly was trying to hide in amongst the wood chips that have been put on the path to soak up the puddles when it rains. Mind you, we haven't seen any rain for some time, so that's maybe why the butterfly was feeling brave and safe among the wood chips!

A Speckled Wood Butterfly hiding in the wood chips!
It didn't hang about too long, mainly because Holly came lolloping along the path and nearly stood on the butterfly!

Back home OTL decided to load the car up ready for the early start tomorrow but couldn't get into the car 'cos the battery had gone totally flat! Of course, all the door locks were electric and there he was getting his tail in a twist trying to get in, which he did, in the end and with the help of a jump start from the little car, he was able to drive down to the garage to fill up on fuel. Then, back home to charge the battery so he can go to work tomorrow morning!

Just goes to show that the car hasn't been used for ages!

We will be waking The Missus up early for our walk, but not as early as OTL will be getting up!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  2. Yo maties. Well my boy was up and out at 5.30 this morning, my mum did ask if he wanted a lift but he decided to walk. It's been quite a nice day, quite warm and sunny. I went for a walk this morning and Sonia came out to say hello and give my mum a shopping list for tomorrow, well while my mum was listening and making a mental note of wot Sonia wanted, I found the most sniffy rolly sniff I've found in a long time, so I launched myself on it and had just got started on getting it down one side of my neck, when my mum launched me into the air. So when I landed, I spotted these funny things wot grow in the trees, they look a bit like big cherries but they're not but they taste ok, my mum heard me crunching on the big stones wots in the middle of them, so I got told off again. My mum told Sonia it would be better for her to phone us with her shopping list cos my mum said she couldn't trust me to behave. Now that's not very nice is it, I mean, anyone can trust me, I can be trusted to point out sniffs and scoff stuff. Well that was the high light of my walk. Smashing pictures today. Do you think them boats are full of scoff? Good job OTL managed to get the car open so he can go to work tomorrow. See I'm like you, I do all my work from home so I don't have to get up early so why do my mum and my boy make me get up when they get up???? I don't understand this about TL's. We watched Mrs TM today and saw Eric, now I thought he might do a tap dance on that tag but he didn't. Take care and have a good evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  3. Yo maties. I'm missing you all down there by the seaside. Hope you're all well. I've got my paws crossed that BT get your broadband sorted tomorrow or I might have to send my mum to bite them.
