Good News Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Well, after the warm sunny day yesterday, what do we get today?

Rain!

Eric was doing his cage rattling trick this morning, so, out he comes to get his harness but today The Missus gave him a cuddle while Holly and I put our Harnesses on.

The rain had stopped but the grass was soaking wet and it took a little while before Eric got used to dragging his tummy over the grass. He was soaked from tail tip all the way up to his nose!

He got to running around and digging at the grass tufts, sniffing the sniffs and chasing Holly Chops when ever she stopped for a wee!

Old Two Legs had to telephone the Inland Revenue to discuss their latest communication which showed he was in credit for a large amount but they still wanted more!

in the end and after a thirty minute discussion they agreed that he was in fact in credit and need not pay any more until next July!

Result!

It was lunchtime before we knew it and time for another run on the beach but without Eric who was snoring his tail off. Miss Wendy was fast asleep and snoring just as loudly and Eric!

It was a bit dismal and OTL didn't even take any photos!

When we got back home, next door neighbour was unloading their car, so, OTL walked over and asked how Bozo was doing. Actually, his name is Ozzie but we all prefer Bozo!

Any way, he was taken to the vet who diagnosed a lung infection and was given some anti biotic for that then added some anti inflammatory stuff to help with his aching bones!

Other than that, he needs plenty of rest and light chicken meals!

So, that was all good news, one Ozzie Bozo is getting better and spending time snozing and eating, just wot can be better!!

As a surprise, we also got a big bowl of chicken and once that was gone we got a super chew as a treat!

I took my treat, jumped up on OTL's lap and spent a good hour reducing the chew down to just a small lump, of which I tucked the last bit down the side of the chair for later!

So, that's my day today, how did yours go?

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well we had rain during the night and we woke up during the night so my mum thought we might as well get up. I wasn't too happy but after eating my brekkie early and then going for a wee and a poo, I felt a bit better. We went for a walk a bit later today just to make sure we weren't going to get caught by the rain. I bumped into Brenda and little Millie. We had a nice chat and walked home together. The weather hasn't been too bad here, sometimes it's been a bit cloudy, but warm and sometimes the sun has been out and hot. My mum was sitting in the garden after she had her tea and she was sneezing away, she's got hayfever. Now I just don't understand why she sits in the garden when she knows it makes her sneeze. She said I've got to go see Caroline the groomer tomorrow for a bath and a clip, now I'm feeling rather feeble at the moment and don't think I'm going to be strong enough for the ordeal. Shame you didn't get any pictures today. I feel a bit sorry for Eric with his short little legs, I reckon getting his little tummy wet when he goes walkies must be really uncomfortable. Wot a result of OTL, the tax man not being able to take any dosh off him, I bet they've got all his hard earned stashed there, earning interest wot OTL could use to buy you all some treats. Glad to hear you got a nice bowl of chicken. I spose it's good news about Ozzie the bozo then, his TL's did do the right thing and take him to the vet. Good job cos he might have got even iller otherwise. I bet he don't take his tablets like a man like wot I do though. Keep your eye on your bit of chew Daisy or you know Holly chops will do magic and make it disappear. Take care all and have a good evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I had a woodland walk with my bestie and a couple of chats with my neighbours, plus I waged war with ants.

Good luck at the groomer Archie . . . If you feel up to it!!!
