Soggy Saturday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

You can tell it's the weekend, it's raining! A strange phenomena in this part of the world. It sometimes happens at second holiday times. You know, leave home and it's baking hot, get half way to the holiday and it's all floods and snow drifts!

Well, today there were no snowdrifts but there was rain. It was funny seeing The Missus running in and out of the garden with the clothes basket, putting the washing out then rushing to take it back in again!

In the end she gave up and went off to her workspace and recorded a couple of video's!

Now, something I forgot yesterday.

TM has just had her hair cut, or 'styled' as she calls it, to anyone else it's just a hair cut!

Anyway, to celebrate she decided to put on some ping wax stuff on her hair to pretty it up a bit.

Now that was OK but she didn't seem to get the joke when Holly said she looked like a Swan Vesta match!

Holly had to hide for most of the day!

Back to today. Both ferrets seem to have been worn out from yesterdays rampaging around the fields and down on the sea front 'cos today they stayed tucked up in bed all day!

So it was just Holly and I on our own today, plus of course, Old Two Legs. Lunchtime we saw that the Rig over in the Sheerness Docks had the legs painted on the top three sections. So it looks like it won't be long before it heads back out to sea to drill some more test holes in the sea bed.

Moving next week?
We managed to get out for a walk in between showers and OTL got all crafty and managed a photo of Holly who was hiding under the bench!

That was sneaky!
I was sitting on top of the bench, trying to find a spot where the rain hadn't formed into puddles, when out comes this camera and 'Click'!

Here's me, looking all moody!
As we got closer to the forest, on goes our lead and we were 'Monitored' until we got onto the main path, away from the poo sniff!

Do you think he will ever trust us again?
Half way down the path there is a young wisteria plant who's flowers have nearly all gone and the few flowers that are left we sometimes get a butterfly feeding on the nectar.

...and it was shot using a 35mm lens!
This afternoon OTL was hunting for a bit of equipment in the garden, amongst the rubbish that is earmarked for the rubbish time, when it opens again, and managed to disturb three flogs who darted across the path and jumped into the pond!

Over the other side of the garden TM says she has disturbed loads of small flogs who didn't make it to the pond and instead dived through the fence into next doors garden!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well the weather was fine here until about a couple of hours ago and then down came the rain, quite heavy at times. It's still quite warm though. Now our flogs seem to have deserted us since the new neighbours put up the wooden fence, we think our flogs are on the other side and they can't get back to the pond, although there is one or 2 that still sit in the water. When it rains now, I've got no little maties to play sniff and hop with. Well my mum went to work, came home early cos she has bad toothache and then took my boy to give his armful of blood. He came out and said that it was quite painful and he's never had any pain before so he reckons he got someone using a blunt needle. We all said aaaahhhhhh to make him feel better and my mum bought him a doughnut with sprinkles on. My mum and my boy had plawn clackers and flutterby king plawns with flied lice for their tea. Nice pictures of you and Holly chops today. I bet Holly is still hiding from Mrs TM after calling her a swan vesta or did OTL tell Holly to say that. We watched Mrs TM glue flinging today, we did like wot she made. Paws crossed the rain goes away soon. Take care all and have a good evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
