The Dismal Days are here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

What a day! I mean, I know it's Friday and Friday is a good day of the week 'cos it's so near to the weekend but today, yuk!

We got up thinking there could be a sunrise but when we looked out of the window, it was still dark, not a sign of the sun or even a glowing bit behind the clouds!

It was cold, wet and windy and we didn't have our Rufty Tufty Harnesses on, instead we had a couple of harnesses that looked like they were made out of boot laces!

I'll be glad to get back home!

Back home at last and we headed off to the bed for some 'after get up snoozing' leaving Old Two Legs to mess about in the office.

Lunchtime down the sea shore it was still as grey and cold but we enjoyed a sniff or two and also noted that that drilling rig called RAN was still in Sheerness but the crane looked like it was parked in 'Sailing Mode'!

I know I've said it before but it looks like it's getting ready to sail away on the next high tide!

The next High Tide will be about three in the morning and the next is around three in the afternoon so we'll just have to watch out for it!

As we headed back towards the car park there was the wormy man out in the mud digging for worms but the tide was chasing him up the mud towards the sea wall!

Dig a hole, run a few steps up the mud flat then dig another hole then run up the mud!

Driving back home we heard the weather forecast and it looks like it will be getting colder over the next few days, do you think there may be a chance of some snow?

Holly and I used to like rolling in the snow, I wonder if the ferrets will have as much fun?

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Ooooh it's been horrible here today, windy, raining and cold, I don't like this weather at all, I don't really feel like having some snow either cos it freezes my little plates of meat. Nice pictures today, best one is of you and Holly chops though. That wormy man is daft being out there when the tide is coming in, he'll get wet. I've done lots of snoozing today, on the sofa, all warm and snuggly, in fact my mum joined me for a little siesta at lunch time. I do like cuddling up with my mum under a blanket, we keep each other nice and warm. Well my mum took all those little chocolate santas on kit kat sleighs to work today and do you know, she didn't bring any back home, I was hoping that perhaps there might be one for me. We've got another early morning tomorrow, then a lay in, then another early morning and then lay ins until boxing day, then my mum will be back at work doing papers on boxing day. I'm looking forward to snuggling up tonight in bed. I wonder if that big rig thing is going to spend Xmas parked up near you. Take care and enjoy your snoozes. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
