Auf der Suche nach einem U-Boot!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

What a change in the weather today, gone is the sunshine and warm breeze. The clouds are low and grey looking.

Altogether, not a nice day!

Old Two Legs got up a bit late, so that means the morning walk was late and he didn't have his morning row around the office!

It was after the Ferrets had been out for a rampage and their cages cleaned that OTL finally ran out of excuses and he was told to get on the rowing machine!

The ferrets thought it was a great joke and blew raspberries at him through the cage bars while Holly was roaring her tail off and kept jumping onto OTL's lap to give him a lick on his nose!

Soon it was lunchtime and we decided to go for a walk before lunch.

As we headed off towards Grain, OTL stopped at a small car park then walked us across the road and along the top of the Thames Wall!

There was a big pond thing full of water and we spotted five Canada Geese paddling around trying to keep out of the wind. We haven't seen any Canada Geese down at Grain for some time and only some Brant Geese wot looks like Canada Goose!

No, not Brant!
The tide was out and as we walked along the top of the wall, OTL told us about the German Submarine that was parked up along the bank somewhere. Well, we looked for it in the shallows but nothing.

Holly said she thought it was over near the cranes but we couldn't see anything.

Well, there's nothing over there!

Then we looked a bit further out into the River Medway but there was nothing to see. OTL reckons it is a bit further around the headland but as the wind was blowing a force Eight gale, we decided to leave that for another day!

Kein U-Boot!
Well, there’s is no submarine to see but we can come back another day to search.

In the mean time we can have a sniff and a taste of goose poo!

Look! A big drop of poo!
It was great to have somewhere different to have a run and there

It was great to have somewhere different to have a run and there were new sniffs to sniff!

OTL has promised that we can go back there again and if the wind drops, we will go further around to see if we can see the submarine!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. yo my little bilingual maties. It's been quite chilly here as well today. I went for my walk but got blown along the path. I spotted Buster and his mum but they were up the road a bit so we didn't get to have a sniff. My mum decided to bring a ball in the garden for us to play with but I just sat and watched her throwing it and fetching it and she soon got fed up. It's been another pretty boring day and my mum keeps trying to start the big throw out but she keeps getting distracted by phone calls and other things like me wanting scoff or a wee or my boy wanting scoff or help to find something, she reckons that come the time when they lift the lockdown, she'll be no further getting sorted out. I spotted her eyeing up my toy box, now she best not touch my stuff or throw it out or there'll be trouble. How's Holly chops grumbly tum today, hope it's better. Did you enjoy the geese poo sniff? There was no sign of any peahen poo, mind I spose it might be a flying pig wot left the poo in my garden. I chased a big fat pigeon out of my garden this morning, that was great fun. Loved the pictures today, maybe OTL could find that u-boat when he rows his machine round the office. It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow so maybe you can go back and find it. Take care all and have a lovely evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
