Hello Woofers!
Daisy,
Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!
Sorry
it's a bit late today, Old Two Legs enjoyed a late lunch today then settled
back in his chair and fell asleep. That means everything is a couple of hours
late!
Now, what
have we been doing today?
First
thing this morning we were out on the football field and what did we see in the
distance?
Four
black Labrador Woofers giving us the 'Hairy Eyeball' but we did notice that
they didn't come charging up to us. They saw OTL and decided to get on with
their sniffing and leave us alone!
That'll
learn them!
Lunchtime
was fun. The temperature had dropped a little and there were clouds to stop the
sun beating directly onto us, so, Eric climbed up the cage wall and taking the
cage door in both paws, gave it a good rattle!
That's
his way of telling OTL he wants to come out!
So, off
we go leaving Wendy curled up in her 'Cuddle Cup' gently snoring her tail off!
It's amazing
just how loudly she snores, the whole cage shakes and rattles once she gets
going!
Off we
went and would you believe it? It started to rain as soon as we got out of the
car.
Eric got
down onto the football field but as soon as two rain drops landed on his nose,
he was back up OTL's leg and straight into the Ferret Bag!
What a
wimp!
It wasn't too bad and it took ten minutes before the rain stopped and he got out again!
A ten Minute Squall!
We were
on the sandy beach having a dig when a Two Legs stopped and wanted to know all
about ferrets and Eric and of course, 'Can I Take a Photo?' I mean, just why
does he get all the attention? Anyone would think that we don't deserve our
photos taken, we look cute? Well I do, it's just Holly gets a little 'Gruff'
when she finds they don't have any food!
Eric enjoyed himself, diving in and out of the grass and jumping out at Holly and shouting 'BOOOOO!'
A Ferret on the hunt for a Woofer!
When Holly didn't react, Eric decided that it would be fun to run up behind me and give my legs a nip, just like Freddy used to do if we were not going fast enough!
Yo maties. Well you've had a lovely day by the sounds of it, did you help OTL relax after his lunch? Glad Eric managed a run on the beach, he is getting a very cheeky chap trying to nip your legs if you're not moving fast enough. I remember Freddie pulling a stroke and saying his leg fell off when he fancied a lift in the ferret bag. I've had a busy day wot started last night before bed time. My mum decided to sit in the garden and keep a look out for bats. We saw 5 flying around, now I'm not keen on bats cos I've heard all about them drinking your blood and stuff. My mum says that's nonsense but I'm not so sure. Anyways she was sitting with a glass of the giggle juice wot Mrs TM and OTL bought her Xmas before last, cos she's only just finished the bottle they bought the Xmas before that and then she's got another bottle wot they bought Xmas just gone to slurp through. Anyways, there she was getting pickled watching the bats so it was quite late when she thought we should go in and go to bed. Well there I was happy in the land of nod when all of a sudden, she decides to do a Mrs TM and get up early. So by 8.30 she'd stripped the bed and washed the stuff, had a bath, gave me my brekkie, took me for a walk, went up the shop, cut the grass, put on another load of washing and hung the first lot out, had a cup of coffee then she got her glue flinging stuff out and settled down to fling the glue. The postman came with goodies and another chap came with a box of card and she was happy as larry. We had forty winks after lunch then all the washing was sorted out and put away and the bed made. Tell Mrs TM, that purple delight versafine clair comes out of sherbet pink t-shirts after 3 washes and some stain remover, my mum reckons Mrs TM will want to know that. The pigeons round here are getting very brave and I've had a battle to keep them out of my garden today so I've worked very hard as well. They must be going soft in the head cos they keep coming in and sitting in the bird bath when I'm in the garden doing my patrols. First thing this morning there was a squirrel fight, one fell out the tree but it was alright cos it landed in a big hedge then went back for a few more rounds. I've been round the garden and confiscated all their nuts so they don't bother fighting over them anymore. We had a little bit of rain this afternoon, I watched from the window and I watched Mrs TM's video. Smashing pictures today. Good job them woofers learned their lesson or OTL might have to speak to them again and put them in their place. Take care and have a good evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch and the Nippers. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
