Hello Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!
Wot a day! I mean, forecast of snow and ice. We watched it sweep across the country, through London and heading towards us and then...............NUFFIN!
I mean, just a couple of very fine drops of rain, not enough to wet a sparrow’s beak!
Now this is not on, we saw snow everywhere on the TV, Two Legs sliding down hills of snow, snowmen having carrots stuck in their face and twigs acting as arms and hands.
Well, we are not putting up with it!
So, off we went towards the seaside for our lunchtime walk.....
We could see the snow in the distance. Holly was looking forward to rolling in the snow and having a good sniff!
The sea looked a little rough so I decided to stay out of the water!
As we got out of Grain it started to snow with a vengeance and it was difficult to see the road edges!
Old Two Legs decided to have a sit down while Holly and I did our 'Rescue Dog' exercises and managed to get a cup of tea for him!One of our mates, Tilly, stopped to say hello and advised us to get OTL back in the car and to turn the heater on!
We rolled him around a bit then pushed him down the hill and into the back of the car where he sat for a while shivering and showing off 'cos his wellies had got cold!
The drive back home was uneventful as the roads had been gritted and the snow plough had been along the main road!
As we got near to home, we spotted one of those Red Deer lurking in the bushes, Holly gave it a woof and it ran off!
So, that was it for today, rather boring really.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well we've had lots of snow here and if you want, I'll send it to you. I nearly froze my little bit off going in the garden for a wee. My mum took me for a walk this morning just before 11 and half way round it started to snow, so it was nose and tail up and I hurried home, I didn't even bother looking for sniffs. My mum made a cup of coffee and my boy said he was going for a quick walk, when my mum drank her coffee, all we could see was white everywhere, my mum couldn't believe that the little bit of snow we saw on our walk would come down so quick that everywhere would be covered. Now my mum reckons you've cheated with some of your pictures, but I said, Daisy would never cheat and they're not pictures taken before now. My mum says she recognises the man on the bench and she says some of them pictures were taken in Scotland, my mum is daft though. My boy has the day off tomorrow so there's only one of us will be going out in the cold and that's my mum when she goes to work in the morning. If she thinks I'm going out in the garden in the middle of the night in all that snow, she can think again, I'm staying warm and snuggled in bed. Take care and stay safe all, have a lovely snuggly evening. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little Arch, the Nippers and Pedro. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
