It was a little bit of a surprise today; the temperature had dropped and the sky was all grey and wet looking!
Old Two Legs was up early and we got around the old golf course before the rain started, not that it worried us, we planned a snooze this morning anyway!
OTL cleared the cages while the ferrets rampaged around the house. Then, after all that was done, they went back to their cage and enjoyed a Chicken Strip before getting into their beds for a snooze.
OTL went out back to the garden and after getting some tools from the shed and started chopping branches that were hanging over the fence and looked like they were tapping on the neighbour’s window!
There were loads of leaves in and around the garden plus lumps of moss that had been tossed off the roof tiles by birds searching for grubs!
OTL set to work and spent some time clearing it all up and into the waste bin reserved for garden waste to be collected by the bin men!
So, the back garden was given the treatment and the front of the house was given the same treatment.
There are plans to get the pond sorted as well, that means draining the pond, clearing out the rotten leaves and the six inches of mud and muck at the bottom of the deepest part of the pond.
We saw a couple of things thrashing about and thought they may be froggies that had been woken by OTL scooping out stuff with a fishing net!
So, that was our day really, OTL has booked a slot for Monday to take a load of stuff to the dump and there is a broken fence panel that needs to be broken down and then bunched up enough to be tied up and put into the car ready for dumping!

Yo maties. It's been quite warm here today but it's getting a tad cooler now. It did try to rain but it didn't succeed. I went out a bit late for my walk on account of my mum having to go up the shops for one of the neighbours who needed a few bits. I'm getting seriously fed up at being left behind and walked late cos I don't bump into any of my mates if I go too late. My mum is a bit grumpy on account of I managed to find a snack on my walk and I wouldn't part up with it, so she's expecting me to get the grumblies now. I must admit my tum does seem to be a bit gurglie. Sounds like OTL did a lot of work today, I bet you and Holly chops lent a paw and helped him out. I got told off this morning cos when my mum went for her bath, she came out to find that her pillows were on the floor and her duvet was walking across the bed, headed for the floor, when she lifted up the duvet, guess wot she found ............. Somehow I don't reckon on today being one of the days where we go to bed and she tells me wot a good boy I've been ..... not that I've been naughty, just sort of playing around really.
