Hi Woofers!
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!
It's been another wet day today. We were hoping for a little sunshine but on our morning walk around the old golf course it rained so much that Old Two Legs was soaked!
Mind you, Holly and I were a little damp around the edges as well!
Lunchtime it stopped for long enough for us to get a walk in around the sea wall walk.
The tide was on the turn and the rocks were poking their heads out of the water. I was thinking of taking a dip but OTL was too close and to be honest, I didn't fancy a splash 'cos it was just too cold!
A Black Headed Gull even declined the offer of a dip, hie was too busy looking for lunch!
OTL had brought his camera with him and managed to get a shot of me considering a dash into the water!
To Splash or Not to Splash, that is the question!
You know, even Eric looked at the water but decided that it was too cold to splash!
Normally, Eric strikes a pose with his head up and looking like a ferret should but as soon as OTL gets down on one knee, Eric puts his chin down on the sand and runs towards OTL, but today OTL managed to catch Eric doing a Ferret Pose as he decides he will try to climb up the sea wall.
He doesn't, instead he runs along the bottom of the sea wall and up the stairs!
Up the beach, along the wall and then up the stairs to the grassy area beyond the hill!
OTL reckons he would love to take more pictures of Eric but spends too much time looking out for roaming woofers that might fancy a nibble of Eric tail!
Eric loves going through the forest bit of the walk, loads of sniffs and interesting bits in the undergrowth and of course, while he is ferreting around OTL is, again, looking for the stray woofer!
We got back home just in time; the rain returned so no more walkies!
News has got to us that Archie Babe is doing well, even though his butt itches and he tries the old Carpet Rub to alleviate the itching. He is getting told off for doing that but as he says, it is sooooo gooood!
See you all tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well the weather had been horrible again here today. I've been in the odd bit of bother for trying to scratch my butt, my head and lick my paw but on the whole it's not been a bad day. I enjoyed watching Mrs TM with my mum. My boy came home with loads of presents, he bought me some woofer size duvets, some apple turnovers and some fingers of fudge for my mum and just after he got in, along came a chap with some KFC for him and my mum. I have so say, sometimes he's not a bad chap you know. Now I might be tempted to share some of these woofer type duvets with a couple of my favourite girls, I'll have to wait to get them posted until my mum thinks it's safe to leave me unattended ...... now that might be quite a long time on account of as soon as her back is turned, I try to sort out the things wot's itching me. I'm having lots of fun in raking up these duvets and burying myself in them. Smashing pictures today, looks like my favourite girls had fun on the beach and so did Eric. That water does look a tad chilly though. I had a lovely siesta with my mum, she said she's not had much sleep downstairs on the sofa bed so tonight we're going to snooze upstairs in bed, I'll have my nice new woofer duvet to sink into so I reckon I'll be snoozing very comfortably. Those duvets will also keep my poor little shaved butt warm. Take care, stay safe and have a good evening all. Love, licks, wags and sniffs from little (itchy butt) Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
