Hi Woofers!
Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.
I just love days like this, all warm and dry and warm and cuddly!
Old Two Legs managed to grab an extra half hour in bed this morning, that was until I decided that it was time to go out for a morning stroll around the old golf course.
It was then that I jumped up onto the bed and stuck my super cold wet nose in his ear!
It's amazing just how high he can jump from a horizontal position into a vertical position in one movement!
We didn't see anyone on our walk, I suppose that's because they were still in bed!
Lazy TL's!
Strange, it was almost like that at lunchtime, just one or two TL's wandering along the sea wall but not a woofer to be seen!
That being so, OTL went hunting bugs and came across this Common Blue. Well, we think it is a Common Blue but called a Holly Blue! A look at the butterfly book and a look on the Wikipedia turns it into a Studded Blue!
So, what we got is a Common Holly Studded Blue!
It's the black on the upper wing ends that confuse OTL!
Not to be out done, I said I was going to go hunting sea weed butterflies but unfortunately the tide was out, again!
That Sailling boat has got to be a good mile out to sea!
Just for a change, we headed into the bushes in search of dragonflies but again, all we found were butterflies!
A Peacock Eye Butterfly!
Well, it made a change from the common white or brown things that seem to spend all their time chasing or fighting eachother!
Tomorrow we are off to take the caravan to be serviced so that will give OTL a chance to get the weeds from out of the brickwork on the front drive plus cleaning the gutters in the front of the house!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
Yo maties. Well the weather has been pretty much the same here today. It was a tad warm so that made me and my mum a bit sleepy so we gave in and had a nice siesta. Now I forgot to tell you yesterday about my cruel mum, the baby frog murderer, well see now, on Friday night I was busy in the garden doing my last of the day patrols and making sure everything was safe. When I was on the bed, just as my mum climbed in, she spotted my little mate, Jiminy Cricket .... well before I could say blow me down, she'd put him out the window ..... poor Jiminy. I had a nice walk this morning and I bumped into Blaze with Storms TLs, he's getting very big now. Then while I was educating him about sniffs and how to keep Tls under control, along came Boris the bounce, Boris makes me laugh cos he's very big and when he spots his mates, he crouches right down on the ground, trying to hide behind the grass so he can pop up and bounce over them. Smashing pictures of flutterbys today. Hope the weather stays nice for you tomorrow and tell OTL not to work too hard. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch, my mum and my boy. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
