Chilly this morning!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

I thought that there was something strange yesterday and again this morning. Instead of cuddling up to Old Two Legs back, (it's always nice and warm there), I was in the middle of the bed, stretched out and with my paws in the air.

The heating had come on at six!

Now that was the first time for ages that OTL got a nice warm towel after getting out of the shower. Unfortunately, that is the sign that autumn has arrived, not only are the leaves beginning to drop off the trees but the clouds are here, the rain is here and OTL has even put on his woolly hat!

I can see that soon I will be dressed in my harness to keep the draughts away!

After lunch we headed off to the seaside for a wander, there was no one on the beach at all, which is most unusual, I mean, not even another woofer!

What was worse, there I was in my new haircut and the rain decided to give us another wash!

Mind you, when we got home, I did enjoy a really good snooze for most of the afternoon!

I Got Shaved!

What a day it's been today.

There was I looking forward to a relaxing day enjoying some serious snooze time and what happens?

I am attacked, washed, sploshed and shaved to 1mm of my skin!

I tried everything to get him to stop, I rolled onto my back, sat down, turned around and even tried to lick his bald head but to no avail, Old Two Legs just kept going!

Now, it's not as though I really needed a shave, I mean, it was getting all nice and warm around the collar and my ears were draught proof as well!

Now all I get is a singing sound as the wind blows between my ears and cheek!

Archie Babe told me off for missing his Two Legs birthday, all of 1000 years old he reckons! Actually, it was yesterday wot we should have been singing and missed it, OTL did try an impromptu rendition but you know OTL, he just can't get the subtle nuances of a proper birthday song!  

So, a little late but sent from the heart, after 19.................Go!

There now, you can blow all the candles out but you got to do it with your nose end cos the other end is explosive!

Lunchtime we went out for a stroll along the sea wall and OTL wanted to take a picture of me and my hair cut.

No Way! I'm almost naked, starkers, rude!

 I dare not open my mouth cos the wind will blow all the way through me and out from under my tail!
