There's nothing like a roll in a sniff!

 Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

This morning we had to go out and pick up a parcel from a shop in town. We got stuck in traffic, well it wasn't traffic really, it was a load of plonkers queuing outside a garage waiting to fill up with fuel!

As I was sitting in the back, I wound down the window and shouted 'Pork Pies are running low!'

That will give them something to chase after!

Old Two Legs filled up with fuel when he picked up the car and it has enough fuel to drive all the way up to Gretna Green and a bit further!

I must say that it is great fun in the new car, I have my big cushion bed on the back seat and I can watch between the seats and through the front screen and see the road ahead!

OTL is still a bit wary driving the car cos it seems that certain controls are 'on the other side' and the forward and reverse controls are on the tunnel instead of being on a stalk on the steering column!

He'll get used to it in the end, I'm sure!

It has been windy today but the sun has shone for most of the day.

Lunchtime we saw a cruise ship heading up the Thames and it looked super reflecting the sun off the white paint.

I hope the tanks are full of fuel!

We often see strange things on the sea shore, like today.

The wind was blowing off the shore and as the tide was out the wind had blown the water off the shore and out to sea.

It was a strange looking sight, all ripples of water and sand.

The sea looks miles away!

Mind you, when we got to the sandy beach the sand was still damp but that didn't stop me from enjoying a good roll on a rather tasty sniff I found!

Ooh! It gets right into your shoulder blades!

Now, I really enjoy a roll but for some reason or other, OTL says it's not good for me and that I'm a 'Mucky Puppy'!

Mucky Puppy or not, I think it's great!

If only you knew!

Over the last three weeks or so I've noticed that the leaves are dropping from the trees, a sure sign that Summer has almost finished and Autumn has started. You know, I wish Spring and Summer would last twice as long and Winter half as long, Autumn is about right so we can leave it where it is, now that would be great!

Look at all the leaves on the ground already!

OTL has got to phone the vets tomorrow morning at 08:00hr and with a bit of luck we should get into see the vet tomorrow and get an opinion on his lump colour. OTL reckons it may need another dose of freezing, let's hope it works 'cos the last time the vet wanted to take his leg off and we can't have a three-legged Eric running around!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties. Well Daisy, this morning I thought winter had arrived, I mean, I had a nice lay in and when I got up to go out for a wee, the rain was lashing down, the wind was blowing a gale and there was leaves and bits of tree blowing all round my garden, well I hurried out and hurried back in. It wasn't until lunch time that the weather improved a bit and lucky for me, by the time my mum said it was time for me to get in the car to go to the groomers, it had just about stopped raining otherwise I would have had to have declined the offer of being groomed. Mind you it was just as wet at the groomers when I was bathed and just as windy when I was being dried. My mum and my boy say I look very smart ....... I always look smart, cheek of them. My mums presents from me and my boy turned up today and I bought her an electric can opener and it opens bottles and sharpens knives, me and my boy are wondering how she's going to get on with it, she even struggled to open the box so we're not expecting too much success from her. Me and my boy bought her a pyramid of ferrero roche and a big box of them as well, my boy told her to set up her pyramid and now I'm waiting for one or two or three to fall off and oh my gosh, wot will I do if they land in my mouth...................... Smashing pictures today. I'm glad you managed to get a roll in a nice sniff, my mum is watching me like a hawk so that I don't roll in a sniff but I'll out smart her soon. Glad you enjoyed your trip out in the new car, good on you shouting out to the noodles queuing. We're all keeping our paws and fingers crossed here for Eric and hoping for the best for him. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
