We Spot a Mermaid in the Medway!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Sorry we missed yesterday’s blog, Old Two Legs was messing about with the computer doing work related stuff, dead boring!

We could have told you all about meeting up with a woofer who said he wanted to 'Round Us Up' as if OTL would put up with being rounded up!

OK, get in line and march in step!

We could have told you about the Fungi that some how got picked and spread all over the bench.

Just what is the good of picking them if they can't eat them?

I have no idea why they have to pick them!

I could also tell you about the long walk I had along the sea wall!

Not a woofer or Two Legs to be seen!

However, today it was all different! First of all, we saw the new fungi poking its cap above the grass. We reckon tomorrow or the day after the cap will be wide open.

Let's hope no one picks this one!

I got mugged by a soppy little woofer who came running along the path, skidded to a halt, looked at me turned around then ran off!

 BOO!
Next thing was a youngster who wanted to give OTL a cuddle and get a stroke!

Yo! Two Legs, what's your name?

Next it was the Two Legs turn to go chasing sticks in the water. Well, the story is, this TL decided to do a bit of fund raising for a Cancer Charity and got sponsored for going for a dip in the Medway!

OK, throw the stick!

So, her mate threw the stick and it went miles, in fact it went so far, we all lost sight of it! That didn't become apparent until the TL was in the water and doing a doggy paddle out to sea!

Deep? Well, it only comes half way up a duck!

The conditions of the challenge were that Christina, the TL, had to stay in the water for at least thirty seconds but her mate kept on saying that it wasn't thirty seconds yet but to be honest it seemed to be thirty minutes! The tide came in and out twice before she was allowed out of the water and she had turned a funny shade of blue!

Watch out for icebergs!

Now, come on, even I wouldn't go in for a swim today!

Another of OTL's 'Artistic Paths'!

We came back on a different path today and came across these red leaves, very striking even though they looked past their prime!

Back home we heard that Archie Babe had got a clean bill of health from the vets and his next appointment would be in a years’ time!

Sorted!

So that's it for today, Woofer’s doing woofer things and Two Legs doing daft things for money!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

  1. Yo maties, well I missed you yesterday, mind there wasn't much to tell on account of all the Mrs TM's zooming and gassing ....... boring or wot ...... I got right fed up with it all and I was demanding scoff and a wee and a poo and a cuddle and scoff and a wee ....... you see where I'm going with this all. Well today I had an early walk but the weather wasn't very nice, I mean it wasn't raining but it was quite cold and damp. After I had my lunchtime scoff my mum said we were going for a ride ...... well blow me down if we didn't drop in on the ladyeeezz at the Veterinary college ....... I went off with 2 of them for a couple of hours and when they took me back to my mum they were saying things like I'm such a good boy, a pleasure to treat and how I liked getting cuddles with them all ...... well of course it's all true. Anyways, I've got some new medicine to take, a very small dose cos there's been a minute change and then I don't have to go back for 18 months unless my mum or my local vet is worried. I've got to go and see my local vet to get more tablets soon, so that means more cuddles with vets and nurses, now you know me, always happy to oblige the ladyeezzzz with cuddles. Do you know, I had a bit of dirt on my coat and they washed it ...... I like dirt on my coat, I spent ages rolling round the garden to get that, mind seeing has how the ladyeezzz done it, I don't mind. Smashing pictures today. I reckon that lady in the sea is either mad or she don't know wot time of year it is ..... my mum wouldn't do that. I think I'm going to go and put my paws up now cos all this cuddling lark does take it out of me ...... so many ladyeezzz so many cuddles to give .... I'll leave my mum to the bar of choccie my boy bought her for when she got home with me, he knows she's in need of some choccie. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
