Hi Woofers!
Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back with you again!
Old Two Legs was all excited this morning when the carrier man brought back his lens after it had gone back to the manufacturers to get mended after dropping it!
Not the best thing to do to a piece of optical equipment!
We went out for our normal walk down on the sea front and he clicked off a few shots to make sure it all working as it should.
I must admit, the conditions were not the best, something to do with the mist and foggy!
I supose you could call this shot a 'Soft Focus' on the 300mm setting!
Then he had to test the 28mm setting and got this!
All hand held while balancing on one leg to zoom in to the rain droplets!
In the end he agreed it was working as normal and maybe tomorrow, providing the rain has stopped, he will get out the big camera and give it a test on that one.
I'm still having trouble with this plastic collar; I keep tripping over as I go upstairs or bend down to investigate a sniff!
To begin with I thought it was a new sniff but it was one of mine I did at the beginning of the walk!
OTL thought that was funny and laughed at me! I didn't think that was very nice so I gave him the 'Thousand Yard Stare'!
OK, laugh if you must but you will pay!
It was then that I sat down and looked the other way as he walked off into the distance.
Now the idea is for him to get around the corner and call me and I take no notice and just sit there until he comes back to get me and put the lead on my collar.
Well, that's the idea only he didn't stop and he didn't call and he didn't whistle either!
No, I don't care if I get a wet tail, I'm staying here until you come back and get me!
He had gone around the corner and it seemed like it was hours of me sitting there getting a wet butt and in the end, I chased after him only to find he had gone around the corner and hid in some bushes so he can see me but I couldn't see him!
He's a right sneaky Two Legs!
See you all tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret
Yo Maties. Well Daisy you have the best weapon to use if OTL does sneaky tricks, just butt him in the back of the legs with that bottomless bucket, that'll learn him. It's been a lazy day here for me, my mum has been zooming and gassing while I slowly wasted away to an elephant, dying of hunger and neglect. I had a visitor this afternoon, Caroline and Alfie puggle called round with a present for my mum, it was a giant nutcracker. Alfie is coming to stay for a couple of days next week, he's coming Wednesday until Friday evening and then his boy is going to come and collect him so he can go home for Xmas but his mum will be away on holiday. My mum wouldn't be allowed to go away and leave me. My mum is working this weekend but my boy is off so I can sing songs to him and keep him company until my mum comes home. Nice pictures today but the best ones are the ones of you Daisy. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteAww poor little bucket head!! It’s bad enough you have to suffer the indignation and difficulties of the plastic collar without OTL playing tricks on you. I’m not speaking to him for the rest of the day now!!! Wanna come live with Your Auntie Sarn ?????
