Icebergs up the Medway?

Hi Woofers!

Daisy here again.

What a funny old day it's been. It started off looking like the sun had come out and would be bringing some warm weather at last!

It looks like it could be a good day!

OK, it's not the best shot but considering what it's been like over the last few days, it's not too bad.
Looking away from the sun it looks just as good up the river Medway and across to Sheerness.

Now, doesn't that look like the beginning of a super sunny day!

Sometimes it just happens that what starts as being optimistic changes to completely opposite!

It got to lunchtime and I gave Old Two Legs a whack on his leg to let him know it was time but looking out of the window the rain was washing the car for us!

It wasn't enough to get really wet and I didn't even bother with my coat. As we were driving along the road the rain drops got bigger and as we got near to the sea wall the rain turned into wet snowflakes!

It didn't last long and by the time we got to the car park it was back to small rain drops!

Bribery & Corruption!

We met up with those Poodle Hooligans who begged a nibble, of course, being a gentle lady like wot I am, I didn't bother, I mean, begging for nibbles is just not lady like!

On our way up to the forest, we saw a big white lump in the middle of the river Medway and it was moving up stream.

OTL thought it was an Iceberg but it was moving against the flow of the river.

We stood watching it for a few moments and it was then we worked out it was a shallow draught tug pulling a barge and it was all painted white!

Well, it's better than an iceberg!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy.

  2. Yo Daisy, well when I got up this morning it was freezing, then my mum went for a bath while I had a snooze on the bed and by the time we got back downstairs, my garden was white. We thought the snow had stopped so my mum put my coat on me and when went to the front door, I stuck my nose out and sniffed snow coming so I refused to go out, my mum walked halfway up the garden path but I just plonked my butt down and flatly refused to go. We came back in and my mum had a cuppa coffee and we looked out the window and there was a blizzard. My mum thought she better go quick and get Brenda's prescription before we were up to our knees in snow. The snow stopped about 10 ish but it was right windy out there and still freezing cold. I had a nice snooze snuggled on the sofa while my mum was gassing on zoooooooooooom and flinging the glue. I heard you asking for a treat when you finished your scoff. We've just had a bit more snow and it's getting colder outside so I'm staying in in the warm. Smashing pictures today, you were lucky not to get lots of snow down there though. Daisy, I'm not to proud to ask anyone for a treat. My mum has got to go up the shops tomorrow for Sonia across the road but if it's snowing, I'll let her go on her own. Take care, stay warm and safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
