Hi Woofers!
Daisy Dog here again!
Well, I've escaped a shampoo and haircut, Old Two Legs has been busy today so I got a reprieve!
Mind you, that didn't stop me from having another splash in the River Medway!
We got down to the car park where we normally leave the car and were surprised to see a football boot on top of the gate!
There were some funny paw prints in the mud and I decided not to investigate!
Well, they are too big to be a bird and not big enough to be a woofer!
While we were looking at the paw prints, we heard the woofing of Barny II running up to OTL for a morning cuddle!
Yo! OTL, Morning to you and Daisy!
Lunchtime I managed to get a paddle and OTL called me a Soggy Doggy but I didn't care, there was no way OTL was going to get me out of the water until I was ready!
All I need is a branch to fetch and I'd be wet all over!
After a while I got out of the water 'cos OTL was marching over the top of the hill and down to the field where the Ox Eye daisies were sprouting!
It won't be too long before there will be daisies all over the field as thick as the Slippy Cow plants.
Back home OTL went back to working while I had a snooze under the desk. I did wake up and OTL called me out and I had to suffer a brushing from OTL.
That's not a good sign 'cos before I get shampooed, blow dried and shaved!
Tomorrow is Friday, F1 racing and be weekend!
It is promised that the sun will be shining for a few days, a real summertime!
Maybe I'll get a swim yet!
See you tomorrow.
Luv,
Daisy.
Yo Daisy. Well done avoiding a bath and clipping, can you send me a private email and let me know how you managed it, I don't want my mum to see the cunning plan. Smashing pictures today, good to see a picture of you amongst them. I was going to go for a walk this morning and then I realised it was raining, we've had some light showers throughout the day so I decided I would stay in and snooze on the sofa instead. My boy bought my mum some apple turnovers on his way home from work, I must see if I can snaffle a crumb when she opens them. I did want my mum to cut the grass in the garden but cos of the showers, she was very reluctant to plug the mower in ...... I mean, she could wear her marigolds and wellies, she'd have been fine. I wonder wot those foot prints were from, I bet Holly chops would have had a good idea about them. I'm keeping my paws crossed for better weather tomorrow. Take care and stay safe all. Love, licks and sniffs from little Arch and the others. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
