Well, here we are at the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024!
Last night OTL went to bed coughing and feeling grotty and half way through the night there was a terrible rain burst. OTL woke up, coughed and went back to sleep again!
The morning was dry but the rain came back during the afternoon when I wanted to go out and as OTL had taken me out at half ten TM had promised to take me out at one thirty but before we could go out, the rain came down!
I got out later and had to teach TM where I wanted to go!
So, the wind last night managed to blow down a couple of fence panels and OTL reckons that come Spring time he will get someone in to install the new panels.
Mind you, these panels have lasted thirty years, so that 'isn’t too bad!

Yo Daisy. Sounds like you had much the same weather as us here. Me and my mum got up this morning to find a couple of the gazebo poles had come loose but my mum just shoved them back into place. Of course when it's wet I refuse to go out unless I really need to so I've spent most of the day snuggled on the sofa and only putting my nose out to do the necessary. We're off to bed early tonight on account of telly is pretty dismal and we much prefer to be warm and snuggly. Hope OTL feels better soon, I know Mrs TM will be nursing him and making sure he has every comfort while he's snotty. Well I'll say good bye to 2023 and hello to 2024 tomorrow.
