Monday Fun with OTL.

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here with you again!

Now...........First things first.

WE'VE GOT OUR EYE ON YOU FIONA!

The cheek of it!

Line Dancing Carrot Crunchers, indeed!

It was YOU who told Old Two Legs and The Missus about the carrots!

No rain this morning just a damp path, but that didn't stop us from having a good run around after the rabbits!

We even got the ferrets to join in, Mr Brambles stood at one rabbit hole and did his big 'Rabbit Scaring Growl' and Miss Snowflake gnashed her teeth 'cos that is always a good way of getting the rabbits to move!

In the end OTL got fed up with us all running around with no real results, so he called us all off to the beach where we all had a game of 'Hole Digging'!

The run back was good fun and Mr Brambles was running and doing his 'Ferret War Dance' while chasing Miss Snowflake!

Now he is getting some daily exercise, his running is improving no end, he looks just like Snowflake when he is running and his walking is getting better as well!

At home he has started to climb up the side of Snowy Heights which is at least five foot six inches tall!

Mind you, OTL is standing there with cupped hands ready to catch him but so far he hasn't fallen off, which is more than be said for OTL who was always falling off when he was doing his climbing!

When we went out first thing, we spotted a female Mallard duck under our caravan!

We gave it a woof and off it flew but when we came back, there in the garden was a Blackbird digging for worms right by the path and he didn't even move went we all walked past!

I think they are all getting to know that it's a safe place to be in our garden!

After breakfast we all fell asleep, even the ferrets were snoring their heads off while OTL cleared up their Poo Tray!

It's OK, that's only OTL banging the Poo Tray!
Holly said that she didn't really feel like going out just yet 'cos her tummy was too full!

Later, after we woke up, we found that TM had gone to bed 'cos she was 'Just Too Tired'!

More than likely it was too much giggle juice and too much staying up late!

So we let OTL off the 'Grand Adventure' and decided a run on the beach would be a good idea.

When we got down there we bumped into a couple of Two Legs sitting on the wall. Holly had a good sniff and decided there was no food, so they didn't even get a 'Hello'!

No Food, No Ice Cream? No Hello's!
They were too busy looking at a couple of Thames Barges sailing past, well they weren't exactly sailing 'cos the were going against the wind and didn't have any sails up, so we reckon they both had engines!

Sailing Bye
Holly decided that while every one was looking at the boats she would have a roll in a super sniff on the beach. I'd never seen her get so excited!

Roll on Baby!
All this looking at the water was too much for me and before OTL could say anything I rushed into the water just to cool my bits off. It was all OK until a wave came along that lifted my paws off the bottom!

Whoops! That was Deep!
Holly by now was sitting on the beach and laughing at me!

You're on your own Sis!
I didn't mind 'cos OTL was there and would have pulled me out!

As we got to the top of the hill, there was a Bozo Two Legs that kept on saying to Holly, 'Come Here Little Doggy'!

Just how daft these Two Legs can be!

No Food, No Strokes!
We are set for a restful evening, OTL will put on a DVD tonight and TM will fall asleep before it's finished!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles

A quiet day after the excitement!

Hi Woofers!

We're here again!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Well, to fill you in on last night. Off they went, all laughing and giggly and they left us at home!
It was most unfair, all we had was water, a few nibbly biscuits  and two bowls of Doggy Scoff!

We were not Happy Puppies!

It was about nine that Auntie Sheila came in and let us out into the garden for a sniff and a wee!

We think she is a wonderful Two Legs!

So, back to snoozing on the sofa, listening to the pond filling up with all the rain that was coming down.

Around midnight in they came, all burps and giggling, especially The Missus!

You know what? They didn't even bring home a doggy bag of goodies from their meal, they finished it all off, including the big chocolate wodge of goo and ice cream, we could smell it on their breath!

That was it, no cuddles for them last night!

This morning all the rain had gone and there was even a bit of sunshine! Mind you, we still had to jump over puddles on the path and the ferrets got lifted up a few times when it got too quaggy!

Down on the beach for a quick dig in the sand and back home to a chicken breakfast followed by a snooze.

We had to go upstairs for a snooze 'cos TM had the F1 racing on, it's so loud!

Lunch time we were out with OTL along the Sea Wall. We woofed at the rabbits and then decided to do a bit of 'Line Dancing' 'cos we hadn't done it for ages. It took a bit of practice but in the end we got the 'Kick' just right!

One, Two, Three, KICK!
We met up with some fishermen but they didn't have any food and hadn't caught any fish, so we didn't stay long sniffin their fishing gear!

No Food, No Fish, No Strokes!
I got chased by a big Bozo Chocolate Labrador and her mate, a sort of Australian Blue Sheep Dog. Of course, both fell in love with OTL and stuck their wet noses in his ear!

Tarts, the pair of them!

OTL spotted a Gatekeeper and just had to have a couple of snaps, mind you, it looked like it had been in the wars!

Looking a bit weather beaten!
The wind was blowing a bit and being high tide and an on shore wind, there was loads of splashing of the waves!
A BIG Splash!
Then we spotted a what we think was a Grey Plover but we weren't sure and had to look it up in the book when we got home.

Is it......?

When we looked at the book we changed our mind and decided it was a Ringed Plover in eclipse. Now that's a Bird Spotter type of description of the state a bird gets in when it moults its feathers after the breeding season!

A Ringed Plover in Eclipse.
Now, Holly and I are booked into the Doggy Parlour next Friday for our 'Shampoo & Set' and Holly reckons that we are also 'In Eclipse' and I said that the only eclipsing Holly does is when she steps in front of the Sun or Moon 'cos she is so large she eclipses everything!

Holly in Eclipse Mode!
That's when the fight started!

OTL tells us that as it's Bank Holiday, we may go for a drive out tomorrow, so Holly and I are discussing the options and will let OTL know in the morning!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles

A Wet Bank Holiday and a Load of Codds Wollop!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

We got up a little later than normal this morning, that's 'cos we stayed up late last night. Well, we had loads of singing and laughing and running around the garden!

When we did get up and looked out of the window, it was raining!

You know, that's just not fair!

It stopped long enough for our morning walk, but the wet grass did it's best to give us a good wash!

We had a run on the beach and the ferrets played a game of 'King of The Castle' on one of the breakwater posts!

Gerroff! It's My Castle!
In the end it was Snowflake who shoved Mr Brambles off and claimed possession!

Mine all MINE!
That was until we reminded her that she had to pay council tax on a castle and she decided to forgo the pleasure of becoming a house holder and stick with Snowy Heights in Old Two Legs office!

As the tide was out I spent some time mooching along the beach looking for interesting sniffs but the rain had washed most of them away!

Not much today!
Snowflake said she had found a 'Super Sniff' but it turned out to be a pile of Sea Gull Poo!

It sniffs all Fishy!
Holly said she was rather bored with it this morning, no interesting sniffs and too long waiting for OTL to move the ferrets along!

No Running, No Sniffs and it's raining
Holly doesn't do rain and it started to spit, so, that was it, back to the car for a rub down and back home to 'Doggy Scoff'!

YUK!

Now, to add insult upon insult, they all went out leaving us at home! The lame excuse about dogs not being allowed into Rochester Cathedral or the local museum was a fabrication!

But leave us they did.

Mind you, it was absolutely bucketing down, so I don't think that we would have liked it too much, especially if we had to stay outside tied to the railings!

Inside the cathedral OTL was snapping away in the Crypt!

A Quiet Spot in The Crypt
Then he got fascinated with the arched ceilings.

Taken from ground level.
You could tell it took a long time to complete and at one spot you couldn't decide if it was going to fall over or they intended it to be wobbly!

Looks very wobbly to me!
Of course, The Missus just  had to visit the local craft supplies shop and in the end brought nothing and was late for church as well!

Naughty TM!

Late Again!
In the Museum they had a section on Dickens, of course, but it looked very Dark and Victorian, too gloomy for me!

Gloomy!
But we did enjoy the bottle of Pop and the description.

What a Load of ............!

You didn't know that did you?
See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles

We Got Visitors!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Hi Ho what a busy day!

We got visitors this weekend and we are being spoilt rotten!

Even the Ferrets!

Pleeese can I have some more milk!
You can guess what Mr Brambles was interested in!

The Missus has had to put all her card making stuff away!

Go on! Just one small Splodge on a card?
Mr Brambles kept on to Old Two Legs about the milk!

Well, if I cant have milk, what about a cuddle?
In the end they got the last of the Lactose Free milk, tomorrow it's Goats Milk, now that should be fun.

If we like the Goats Milk, do you think he would get a goat to come and stay?
Well, we must be off now as it's rude to leave the guests alone with the drinks cabinet!

See you soon!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Here! Wot's this Wet Stuff?

Hello Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

We got up this morning and looked out the window, it was horrid, there was rain drops falling out of the sky and making big puddles in the garden!

Mind you, at least the pond gets some fresh water!

The ferrets weren't too keen on going out in the rain! They had a chat about it over their 'Breakfast Slurp' of milk and decided that they would go, providing they could come back if it rained again.

If it rains, then we come home, OK?
Miss Snowflake really loves the milk and walks around licking her whiskers and going Mmmm!

Mmmmm!
Mr Brambles loves it to and after a good slurp, loves to play games with OTL or Snowflake. This morning he was jumping about all over the place and he even rearranged the squeaky balls!

Oi! Leave my toys alone!
Off we went and it looked like the rain had stopped, we got down to the Sea Wall and while OTL was watching Mr Brambles having a dig of the path, I spotted a rabbit, sitting very still, in the middle of the path!

I stopped, looked and looked again.

The rabbit stopped and looked and looked again!

We both just stood there looking at each other, neither of us making and movement at all!

Come to Me....COME to ME.......COME TO MEEEE!
I was trying a bit of 'Hypnosis' on him and was softly saying 'Come to me' but in the end he blew a big raspberry at me just as I started to run towards him.

He got away!

We headed off to the top of the hill and guess what? It started to rain!

Holly had done a Poo on the way up the hill, the ferrets had both done a Poo at the top of the hill and as we headed back to the car, I did a Poo on the way down!

The only one who hadn't poo'd was OTL and he said he would wait until he got home!

So, back in the car we got a good rub down with one of our Doggy Towels and all felt better for it, except OTL, who got wet trousers and was complaining about cold wet legs, all the way home!

What a Wimp!

Our breakfast of chicken went down a treat and afterwards we headed off to OTL's office for a snooze. The ferrets had already had their breakfast and were in La La Land!

Lunch time came and looking out the window, the rain had stopped.

It Fooled us!

As soon as we got the car door open in the car park, down it came!

OTL says that he will put our coats on, Holly says 'Why? I'm not getting out of the car!'

Then started a tussle, first I got called to the back of the car and after a bit I reluctantly let OTL dress me in my coat. Then it was Holly's turn, 'Come Here' says OTL, 'Not Woofin' Likely' says Holly, and so it went on until OTL walked around the side of the car, opened the door and pulled Holly towards the back to have her coat put on.

Holly was not happy!

' OK', says OTL 'Off We Go!'

Not Woofin' Likely' says Holly and me.

OTL tries to pull us both out the back of the car, we put our heads down and dig our claws in.

'We Ain't Going!' we say.

'Yes! You Woofing Will' says OTL, with both of his boots on the bumper and pulling on the lead and leaning back as though he's on a racing yacht!

We all fall out of the car and onto the Car Park!

We were marched over to the beginning of the walk and OTL took the lead off us.

Holly walked into the grass for a wee.

I stood still.

OTL walked ahead calling for us to follow.

I stood still.

Holly stayed in the grass.

OTL called some more.

I stood still.

Holly stayed in the grass pretending she was still weeing.

OTL walked back and stood behind me and gave a shove with his shin.

I stood still.

Holly still stayed in the grass!

OTL then put our lead back on and pulled us along the path!

We were not happy!

We got marched around the first bit of the walk and landed up at the turn off which is the short cut back to the car.

I suppose OTL had made his point, 'He Is In Charge', and so had we, 'We Don't Want To Go!'

Back to the car and straight in for a rub down with the Doggy Towel!

Once we got home we both headed for |OTL's office and our Day Bed for and afternoon snooze.

That's much better, no nasty water dripping down your collar!

See you tomorrow!

Rain permitting!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Wednesday is for Swimming, Almost!

Hi Ho Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

Hasn't it been warm today?

We were out good and early this morning for our run, as normal, Snowflake wanted to be carried to the beach. You know she may be fast going home but she is a right Diva wanting to be carried all the way down there in the first place! Mind you, Old Two Legs secretly enjoys the cuddle he gets from her, well, it makes a change from the nips he used to get every time he put his hand near her!

We had a great time on the beach, Holly and I were running up and down playing chase while Mr Brambles got stuck into some serious digging.

There is holes and there is HOLES!
Holly and I offered to help him but he 'Woofed' us off, in ferret!

Gerroff Me Hole!
We went back to playing chase and at one point I got the ferret lead from Mr Brambles caught around my leg which made me yelp and it dragged Mr Brambles along the sand!

OTL soon sorted us out and there was no harm done.

Holly said she could see it coming and just couldn't look!

I Just Can't Look!
Mr Brambles trotted down to the rock pool and washed his paws before starting off for home.

Off for a Wash & Brush Up!
Mind you, when we got home he was soon flat out on his cushion snoring his head off!

I'm Knackered!

We got some super steak today, makes a welcome change from that nasty Doggy Scoff!

It didn't take us long before we too were crashed out on the bed enjoying out morning snooze!

Lunch time, the tide was right in and I went for one of my 'Deep Paddles' in fact, I got so deep in the water that only the top of my head stayed dry!

Oops! The Bottoms Gone!
OTL was throwing a cork in the water for me but it soon drifted away and I had to let it go!

This is Super Cool Today!
Holly left me to get on with swimming and wandered off to have a chat with the fishermen, we found her in the shade of the bench discussing the tackle set up they were using.

I didn't know she was that interested it fishing!

Well, I prefer the Pennel Rig sea fishing rig but with two swivels and a half ounce weight myself!
As you would guess, OTL was snapping away at the insects, which, because it was midday and very warm, they were flitting about all over the place!

There was the Common Carder Bee.

I'm not Common, I'm Special!
Then OTL spotter a Chaser Dragonfly, but he is not sure what Chaser it is.

It has two spots, one on each wing, so, is it a four spot or is it a two spot? A quick look on the Internet has confused him even more!

So at the moment, unless you know what it is, it looks like we have a possible female, two spot chaser dragonfly!

Confused? Well we are!

Back home to a snooze, only to be woken by a delivery man bringing some ferret nuggets in a Ten Kilo Bag!

I don't know where they put it all, mind you, they do poo a lot!

I wonder if they do a Ten Kilo Bag of Chews?

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles (Still Snoozing!)

Tuesdays are Better and I'm in the Poo Again!

Hi Woofers!

It's The Gang back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

We were up and running early today, we even managed to wake The Missus up, which is very unusual 'Cos it's her that normally wakes everyone else up!

The ferrets were still half asleep when Old Two Legs went in to start clearing out their house, but they soon woke up when the milk was poured!

Snowflake got her snout in first and poor old Mr Brambles was getting desparate for a drink!

In the end Snowflake let him have a slurp and he finished the bowl off after she had drunk her fill!

It was fun walking, even though Snowflake refused to get down from OTL's arm until he was on the beach!

Only after that did she wake up enough to have a little dig.

Only a small hole today!
After she had finished her dig, she chased after Mr Brambles and the pair of them  started on the run back to the car park.

Ready, Steady, GO!
It was Miss Snowflake who would have won but OTL wouldn't take off her lead!

Something about trusting her less than he trusts us!

We didn't get a lot of photographs either, after the first two, the battery died, so, being prepaired for such things, OTL got the spare battery out of his pocket and changed them over.

Trouble was, he hadn't charged the spare battery from the last time the battery died!

Wot a Plonker!

Mind you, he got a fresh camera battery for our lunch time walk and it was great, we went to The New Park!

Of course, the first thing I did was to go 'Deep Paddling' just to cool off. Holly even went in for a little paddle!

Cooling Off!
There were loads of other dogs splashing about in the Swimming Hole and having fun!

After that we went over the road to what is called The Orchard. In The Orchard there are sneaky rabbits, sneaky 'cos the keep in the long grass and the undergrowth, so that means I have to go diving into the undergrowth to flush them out.

They are in here, Honest!

OTL doesn't seem to appreciate this fact and gets all 'Uppity' and wants me to stop chasing the rabbits and that's when I get in trouble, again!

Holly, Miss Goody Four Paws, hears OTL calling and says that 'I'm on my own' and goes running off to OTL.

Sometimes she can be such a Creep!

Yes OTL, I'm Here!
Well, I got put on the lead again and had to walk back and not be able to go into the swimming hole again and I had to stay close to OTL all the way back!

Guess Who s In The Poo!
Mind you, we did stop to say hello to some cattle in the field. Holly asked if it worried them, being out in the sun all day but it seems that didn't worry them 'cos they had a good wooly sort of hair that protected them from the sun burn.

Do you use Factor 35?
We met up with a youngster, only five months old, who rolled onto his back and stuck his legs in the air, he'll learn!

Get up you Silly Mutt!
Back home we had a cooling drink and settled down to trying to mug OTL for some of his dinner.

Well, all we got is Doggy Scoff!

That TM can be so cruel sometimes!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles

We've had better Mondays!

Hello Woofers!

We're back, Daisy, Holly, Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It was a bit chilly this morning when we went out on our morning jog along The Sea Wall, Mr Brambles was all over the place, sniffin' the sniffs and trying to dig holes in the grass!

Snowflake just curled up in Old Two Legs arms and tried to go back to sleep!

Before we came out, both ferrets had themselves an enormous slurp of Lactose free milk and didn't they jus' love it!

Holly and me enjoyed our bowl full as well, all lovely and cold and super tasting!

I wonder how long it will last and what the Goats Milk will be like?

Back to our run.

We met up with Mercedes, an big Bozo Labrador that thinks the sun shines out of OTL's ears!
He had a sniff of Mr Brambles and Miss Snowflake but OTL had them safe in his arms and had promised not to let Mercedes get anywhere near them!

We carried on down to the beach and Snowflake had fun doing some digging, along with Mr Brambles who jumped up on OTL's lap 'cos he wanted a cuddle, but not for long!

We all ran back our normal route and once again OTL had to pick up the ferrets as three Spaniel types came woofing along on their way out for a walk!

After they had gone it was back down onto the grass path and off the ferrets went again.

By the time we had all got back to the car they were out of breath and enjoyed a good slurp of water!

Back home we had a super breakfast of Lambs Heart and were settling down to a snooze when OTL got a call to go and mend a radio. So that was it, our walk down The Forest or in The New Park was scuppered, all we had to look forward to is a walk with The Missus across the Farm!

On our way back from the farm, TM took us the long way back and we walked down the road where we normally drive with OTL.

It made a nice change to get some of the sniffs we miss when we're in the car.

So, there we were, Sniffin' The Sniffs and mooching along in our own good time. TM was trying to hurry us up but we were having none of that!

Then, all of a sudden, from out of one of the houses came a couple of Two Legs, crashing through the door, shouting and howling at each other and you know what?

It almost scarred the tails off of Holly and Me!

We rushed up to TM for her to protect us and we stayed with her all the way home, just in case those Two Legs were following us!

So, that's what happened to us today and not even one photo, which is most unusual!

Just as a treat, he is one OTL took at the Butterfly Tunnel.

OTL says it was almost five inches across it's wings!
You can see it is eating a banana, it looks big enough to pick up the banana and fly off!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles
