It's, Summer Solstice, Fathers Day, Longest Day, Shortest Night and F1 Racing Today!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Wot a day it is today! It seems that everything has come all of a sudden on one day!

Now we knew it was Fathers Day today and Holly and I gave Old Two Legs a present each.

Holly had a bit of Rawhide Chew that she had been chewing and made all soft and soggy and she had hidden it under his pillow so he could have a chew before he got up this morning.

The only trouble was, he suffers from Hay Fever and first thing this morning he was in need of blowing his nose, so, he stuck his hand under the pillow, grabbed something soft and a bit damp, pulled it out and blew his nose!

Holly says that if he gives it a wash under the warm tap it will be OK for chewing later!

I decided that what OTL would really like is a big wet nose in his ear just before he wakes up good and proper!

So I did!

When he had got up and went in to say good morning to the ferrets, they both gave him a cuddle and a lick on the cheek, before scurrying off to fill the Poo Pot up some more!

It's a Ferret Thing!

Then we were off to The Beach!

By the time we got there, the ferrets had gone back to sleep in the travelling cage and it took a bit to wake them back up again, but, once they were awake it was full speed to the beach!

Are we there already?

 Snowflake reckons she saw something move in the bottom of one of the Rock Pools, Holly said it was a Nargle while Brambles said it was a 'Slimy Thing'!

I wasn't sure but advised she keep well away!

Something Moved!

OTL came along and with a quick flick of a rock he shoved his hand in and brought out a crab!

Now this thing is strange, you know, it runs side ways!

Holly said nothing runs sideways, it's just that it has it's eating bits on it's side!

OTL said that it did in fact run sideways if it was in a hurry but under water it could walk in any direction but preferred sideways!

OK, Who Did That?

The crab wasn't very happy about being lifted from under it's rock, so OTL put it back and lowered the rock down again.

Snowflake said she would choose another rock to wee from in future!

Getting back to the car, we came across a couple of woofer on leads. That got Holly going, she started to woof and wind them up and the Two Legs with them was being pulled all over the place!

Go on then, you sort them out!

Back home OTL took some time to hide in the office until his hay fever slowed down a bit before he headed for the garden to do some more clearing up!

He never got close to the garden though, he could only open the kitchen door for us to go out, but then sneezed, turned around and went back to the office!

Now we know that this is the Summer Solstice today and that means there is more daylight today than any other day this year, add to that OTL's hay fever and you can bet it is going to seem twice as long!

He did manage to get a picture of the painted shed, between sneezes!

A Bit Darker Maybe?

By the way, the 'Reserved' sign is in a trough that at the moment has no flowers in it and The Missus wants the yellow flowers to throw their seeds into it for next year and she will move the trough to another part of the garden.

Lazy or wot?

Come lunchtime OTL took us down the Sea Wall and on the way, stopped in at the Co-op and got some new anti hay fever pills, so we will wait to see what happeneds tomorrow morning!

Today he remembered the Yellow Filter 'cos he reckons that Black & White doesn't affect his hay fever so much!

A View Towards Essex.

There were loads of TL's down there and of course, everyone wanted to give us a stroke but as Holly says.................

No Food...........................No Strokes!

They just never learn!

We got back home and watched the recording of the F1 race. Poor Hamilton, his bottom lip comes out when he doesn't get first place!

Never mind, he can try again in a couple of weeks at the Silverstone Circuit!

Now, we have heard that Bob (Auntie Chris's Husband) has been having some problems that means he has to go to the TL' vet.

I bet they give him some worming tablets and an injection, well they do that to us every time we have to go!

Keep yer Tail up lad, watch where they stick the thermometer and keep smiling!

Back to normal and we get a 'Camouflage Shed'!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

Well, today we have been with Old Two Legs. We got up late and so did OTL!

It was good to get up and find that The Missus had taken all her card stuff up the hall on her own!

And she brought the car back for us to go down to The Beach!

That was it! Off we went and we were talking about the rabbits we would chase and catch, mind you, the ferrets said we had no chance 'cos they were going to get them all before us!

Yeah, Right!

We got down to the car park and there, on the grass, right in front of us were five rabbits enjoying some breakfast grass.

Holly was going potty trying to get out, she was woofing her tail off with excitement at the prospect of getting among those rabbits!

Silly woofer didn't think about the noise she was making would scare the rabbits off!

Out we piled from the car and found the rabbits gone!

Well, I blame OTL!

Holly tried to blame OTL, then it was the ferrets fault for making too much noise in their cage!

I must admit, Holly was making all of noise!

Off we went to the other rabbit hunting ground and found that the word had gone out and when we got there......................all the rabbits had gone!

It's just not fair!

Down on the beach the Mr Brambles said that if we ever caught a rabbit you could reckon it would be blind, deaf, have just one leg and be suicidal!

Rabbit hunters, I don't think!

Back home to meet up with the man who is doing some work for us, replacing fence panels and painting the shed and making a porch over the front door.

Today he fitted the last fence panel and started to splosh green stuff all over the shed. We will have to wait until it is dry before taking a picture though!

I must admit, our lunchtime walk was a little uneventful, no woofers, no wabbits, no cats, in fact nothing except a good wee and a poo!

Well, if all else fails, enjoy wot you do!

Is That a Sniff You Got Sis or are you sniffing your tail?

 OTL was happy 'cos he spotted a Gatekeeper butterfly in amongst the all the weedy stuff.

Well, as we say, What Ever Turns You On!

 Back home to a snooze and see the F1 on the TV, even if we did fall asleep!

We had instruction to collect TM at five but she got a lift home with Auntie Sheila  and got home at four thirty!

Now we are off to see what we can mug from OTL tonight!

I get Soggy Again and Holly Shows Off!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Well! Wot's all this Archie Babe? Bozo Freddie sounds like one of those woofer that will get you into trouble, just by association! Mind you, nicking his chew is a class act!

Well done that woofer!

Today has been sort of uneventful, and I blame Old Two Legs for that.

You see, OTL had to go out to work today, in fact it was a day full of 'Meetings' which means, The Missus was in charge and we had to do what she wanted us to do!

Yeah, right!

Well, out we went this morning first thing and I must say, not having to wait for the ferrets was a change, that means the walk didn't last as long as with the ferrets but to be honest, I missed them!

There is nothing like sniffing a sniff and get a ferret run into your backside shouting 'Ferret Coming Through'!

When we got home TM let the ferrets out for a rampage around the house. Mr Brambles was showing off a bit, he really loves to go swimming through the grass and swimming through the carpet just wasn't the same!

Mind you, our lunchtime walk was fun 'cos the tide was in and of course, in I went!

Holly stayed well away from the waters edge just in case I splashed her but she did get a sneaky in.

There I was swimming and splashing and chasing my stick when Holly, Old Grumble Guts, ran up and nicked the stick!

Then she ran off up the beach with it!

That was a bit too much and I showed off, just a little!

Back home we were waiting to see OTL  after his days work and late in the afternoon back he came!

We went potty!

Then we told him all about our day and the fact that TM couldn't bring her camera out 'cos she has got it set up for photographing her craft stuff and we wouldn't sit up on a little tripod thing while she took our photo!

So, you will have to wait until tomorrow when TM heads off to her 'Crop' while OTL, the ferrets and us head off to the beach and then into the garden to clear up the last of the weeds and stuff!

I'm a Damp Doggy!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

This warm weather certainly takes it out of you! This morning it was a little cooler than yesterday. Old Two Legs had to carry Brambles a couple of times yesterday 'cos he was getting too hot running around, but today, he was tearing around all over the place!

They even chased me up the Grass Path and all at the same time we sniffed and Snowflake said 'Lizard!'

It was a funny sniff but if Snowflake says Lizard, then lizard it is!

Yeah! That's a Lizard!

 We didn't actually see the Lizard, but we sniffed it!

No more lizards, so we followed the ferrets down the hill and back to the car park.

Back home Holly and I went off to inspect the garden and check to see if Trevor has stuck his head above the weed in the pond, he hadn't!

While Holly and I had a snooze OTL went off to get the car washed and waxed. I must say, when he came back the car looked in super condition, all our holiday sand and bits of paper, cat litter from the ferrets poo pot and bits of stuff left by The Missus!

Plus the odd doggy biscuit and chew!

Lunchtime arrived, OTL got back and off we went for our walkies. TM decided she was coming with us 'cos she 'Needed some fresh air'!

I also decided I needed some Water!

Down on the beach I headed for the waves but TM and Holly carried on walking along The Sea Wall, and, of course, what did we hear from Holly?

We Don't Do Water!

 I do!

OTL found a stick and we had a good game  and of course, I got soaked!

After a while we left the stick on the beach and headed off to the other beach where I have a swim!

This just Too Heavy!

 On the other beach OTL found a smaller stick and we had a great time. At one time I was 'Body Surfing' back to the beach with the stick!

 It wasn't too long before we headed back home. Holly said that I looked like a drown rat!

Mind you, I was clean and didn't sniff like her!

Guess which woofer does water!

It's good to hear that Archie Babe's family is getting better, we recommend a good dose of worming tablets and some 'Spot On, that normally will keep a TL in fine order!

You know what? OTL hasn't touched the garden at all today! Mind you, there are plans for Saturday 'cos the wheelie bins get emptied on Friday!

We get to The Forest again!

Hello Woofers,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Wot a warm day it has been!

Old Two Legs was up with a woofing Holly at three this morning, she wanted a wee and also there was something creeping around the garden!

So, it was OTL was about an hour late in getting up and of course, we were all an hour late going for a walk!

Miss Snowflake was rather put out that it was so late and when she got out of the ferret bag she didn't hang about and headed straight off into the sea weed!

On a Mission!

Holly and I sat down on the beach and then we lay down, well knowing Snowflake it was going to be a little while before she came back!

Now I hadn't dug a hole in the sand for a while, so I started one and Holly took over and then I got in again and then Holly dived in and..................Snowflake came back!

Come on, let's have a go!

Back home to some Lambs Heart and a snooze on the patio while OTL got busy chopping up the old fence panels he replaced with new ones last night. Then there was the tone and a half of stuff that The Missus had emptied out of the shed after she had 'Cleared it up'!

Poor OTL he had to take all the stuff down to the Rubbish Dump so, the little car was prepared by having the rear seat folded flat!

Now, if OTL is going down to the dump, then there better had be some room for a couple of little woofers!

And there was!

So, after getting rid of the spider infested rubbish we headed off to The Forest! We haven't been there for some time, so it was good to catch up on the loads of new sniffs!

Now, because there was so much rubbish in the back, OTL didn't bring his camera, so you can't see Holly and me chase twenty five squirrels and at least a hundred rabbits and we caught all of them as well!

So there!

Back home we were so exhausted after our rampage around the forest. Holly and I both fell asleep in the shade while OTL pottered about in his office.

The ferrets were a bit warm so OTL got one of the frozen packs out of the freezer and shoved it under their sleeping cushion so they have a cool place to snooze and if it's too cold, they have another four options!

So, that's it for today, a super warm and sunny day and a wonderful run around The Forest, what could be better!

We got a Strange Bird in our garden!

Hi Woofers,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

It has been a lazy sort of day today, we got up late, well, The Missus did and so did us woofers, but Old Two Legs was up at six 'cos the bright light between the gap in the curtain was shining in his eyes and once he is awake, that's it, he has to get up!

Early up means we get out early for the morning walk and so, we were down the car park before the rabbits had gone back to bed!

Holly and the ferrets were more interested in having a wee but I spotted those Pesky Wabbits and just sat there trying to work out a strategy  to have some Wabbit Stew tonight.

Just Watching The Wabbits!

It was going well until OTL came and scared the Wabbits off!

Down on The Beach, Miss Snowflake was up to her normal thing of trying to find the best place for a wee. I mean, it's not that hard, ask Holly and she says that when she feels like it, she goes!

It just has to be the right spot you know!

 Now, there I was, watching the Wabbits and because OTL had to shoo me along the path, those other woofers have been poking fun at me, so, I thought I'd get my own back!

So, I shouted out, 'Look! Rabbits, Loads of Them!'

Wot Wabbits? Where?

I had all three of them running around in circles! All of them saying they saw a Wabbit!

OK, These Bozo's are so easily fooled!

I was almost laughing my tail off! Brambles got so confused that he rolled over three times!

Back home to a good warm bowl of chicken and some lovely greasy skin!

That of course leads to a Super Snooze!

Lunchtime back on the beach I found a plank of wood that I said would make a good throwing stick but he said it would give me splinters in my mouth, so I had to put it down!

Splinters! Yuk!

I decided that it would be safe to swim off the beach but OTL said that the waves were too rough, so I ended up with a paddle instead!

Honest, it was only a paddle!

As we headed back to the car park we came across a couple of Two Legs who were looking at the plants and then looking at a book, it looked like wot OTL does when he gets home, look at picture, look at book, look at picture, look at book!

OK, Get your food out!

We had a sniff but there was no sign of food, so, that's it, no food, no strokes!

So, now we are waiting to see what OTL has for dinner tonight, maybe we will be lucky!

Now, yesterday TM came back from the Plant Place with a few pots of plants and a bird.

A Bird?

Yes, a Metal Bird!

OTL was given the job of locating it in a suitable place.

So, where to stick it? There is only one place really.

Where has the Sun gone?

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

Wot a day! We almost didn't want to get out of bed this morning. The clouds were all over the place and we didn't see the sun anywhere! It took two visits by Old Two Legs into the ferrets room to even get them to open their eyes! And after that they still went back to sleep while OTL had his shower!

Mind you, they were wide awake when he returned with their Ferret Milk and his Rabbit Food!

Holly and I enjoyed the wide open space on the bed after OTL and The Missus had vacated it!

The ferrets were still snoozy when we got to the car park and were huddled up in their ferret bag trying to go back to sleep.

They missed out on some fun!

As Holly and I rounded the bushy corner, there, in front of us, facing away from us, sat the fattest rabbit we had seen for some time. That was it, both of us took off like a 'Double Barrelled Shotgun' turning sharp right into the long grass!

That was when we lost sight of the rabbit, but we still were rushing about trying to flush it out again.

OTL had stopped and got the ferrets out to watch the fun and have a wee as well.

It was then that we heard OTL and the ferrets giving us the secret 'Rabbit Spotted Call' and they were all pointing up the path!

At first we weren't sure which way the rabbit was running, left, right or straight on!

Neither was the rabbit!

We were still crashing about in the grass until I spot a white tail on the path and then it was 'Off Again'!

Well, in the end he disappeared into the bushes and we lost him. We had a good hunt around but there was no sign of our 'Bunny'!

Down on The Beach, both ferrets were making fun of us, first of all they kept shouting out that they had spotted more rabbits hiding under the sea weed!

Oooo! Look! More Rabbits!

Holly and I did our best to ignore the pair of them, I mean, what do they know about chasing rabbits!

It didn't help when Brambles came up behind me and asked if I like 'Rabbit Stew'!

Rabbit Stew Tonight Then?

 I wasn't in a good mood so I told him to Woof Off before I stewed him in milk and served him to the birds!

It still didn't stop them from calling out for Bunnies to chase!

We all had a snooze after some rather tasteless Doggy Scoff and at lunchtime we reminded OTL he had his duties to do, WALKIES!

The only trouble was, TM had pinched the car!

Not to worry, we still had the Big Car, so off we went in style down to The Beach again and belive it of not but the sun came out and so did the wind!

When we got down there the Tide was right in and I was hoping for a swim but looking at the size of the waves, I decided to pass today!

A High Tide!

There were places where it was splashing over the top of The Sea Wall and making everything all wet!

 We met up with a couple of woofers who we know. One had this super trick she does.

By standing at an angle to the wind, she can get her ear to stand up!

Look Semaphore!

Now, we had never heard of Semaphore until OTL explained it to us!

Yes, very clever, we'll flag that up for next time!

Then there was the young Staffy who said she was learning how to blend into the background and become 'Invisible' just so she could chase rabbits!

Yeah, Like, I can't see anyone laying on the ground waiting to spring into action!

Holly and I can do better than that but decided to keep our secrets to ourselves today!

Back home again to a snooze before dinner. We know OTL has Gammon tonight so Holly and I are both licking our lips in anticipation!

Sunday in the Garden.

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

What a fun day today!

Yesterday The Missus was doing one of her 'Master Classes' and when she got home  she could hardly keep her eyes open, she was snoring her head off on the sofa at six thirty!

By seven she was in bed, snoring!

During the night, Holly thought she heard a noise in the back garden and did one of her 'Warning Woofs' at the back door which woke TM up. TM staggered down stairs and let Holly out into the back garden to do one of her 'Warning Woofs', then Holly turned around and headed for bed.

TM thought it was about four so was trying to decide if she should go back to bed or get up and make a card or two before everyone else was woken up with the 'Stamping Sounds'!

Then she looked at the clock, and then she looked again, it was just gone eleven!

Back to bed!

When we finally got up, at the right time, it was all off to The Beach!

Miss Snowflake was in and out of the sea weed doing wot she always does!

Careful Girl or you'll fall in!

Then it was a race to get up onto the grass path where both ferrets had fun 'Swimming' in the grass!

Come on Bumbles, shift yer tail!

 Mr Brambles was have a great time doing what he calls 'Grass Surfing'!

 Then it was Snowflakes turn but she did what she calls 'Grass Swimming'!

 While the ferrets were having a grassy Splash About', OTL was on his knees clicking away at a Goats Beard that was in full bloom, unlike the ones we have at home!

Mind you, the flower heads on the one at home is a lot smaller than this one, so, claws crossed we may still see the ones at home bloom yet!

Holly and I were getting a bit bored waiting for the ferrets to finish their 'Grass Swimming' and OTL getting a flower to say 'Cheese'!

So, I didn't see him creep up and grab a sneaky shot of me looking bored!

Waiting for Ferrets again!

Back home OTL was out in the garden again and this time he filled up another two Wheelie Bins full of vegetation and it looks like he has almost finished. Holly and I were resting on the patio giving instructions!

Then TM came out to have a look and 'Suggested' that OTL put a mirror up on the shed wall, just to make the garden look bigger!

I'm not sure what the birds will make of their reflections!

We got a visit from Martin, Lisa and The Boys, Holly said they looked very different from what she remembered when she lived with them!

They had been to a party on Saturday and were a little, tired!

So, they didn't stay too long before heading back home!

Now we waiting to see what OTL is going to have for dinner, just so we can mug him!

Hey! Archie Babe, what's this about yer Butt? You been eating that grass again! We have seen The Hobbit DVD many times, it is one of OTL's favourite films, other than Lord of the Rings!

I reckon we can tell you the story from start to finish!

I hear dinner plates being rattled, so we're off to see whats being served!

A Saturday with Maizey!

Yo Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

The Missus was up early this morning and what with all the noise she makes and Old Two Legs sneezing his head off, we were up and running by seven! Even the ferrets were up and ready on time!

Come on, we'll be late!

 Down on The Beach, Brambles said he would get a hole started for Maizey 'cos she wasn't great at hole digging!

I'll get a hole started!

 Time was getting on and we had loads to do before Maizey arrived, so it was a quick march up the Grass Path and heading back to the car!

 We got back home and OTL sorted the ferrets and made the place tidy and got a couple of  blankets to make up a bed should Maizey want a snooze!

We met Maizey up at the Village Hall and headed off to The Beach again 'cos Maizey said she wanted a Walk, a Wee and a Poo!

We met up with Oliver and he said Hello to Maizey and they both had a traditional Doggy Sniff!

Hello Oliver!

 There was a couple who remembered Maizey from the last time she was down and they had a chat about some of the local sniffs!

Yeah, I remember you from last time!

We headed off to the beach where Maizey had a little run around and even found Brambles Hole!

Maizey said that she didn't like all the steps everywhere but agreed that running up and down would keep you fit!

Loads of steps to climb!

One thing she did like was the sand and the sea weed on the beach.

There were loads of sniffs and of course, plenty of space for a wee!

This is a very good place to wee!

 She said it was better when we got onto the Grass Path and we asked if she could sniff the ferrets that came up here this morning!

Your right! I can sniff ferret!

 We had a super day and I even shared my Chicken Dinner with Maizey, who also had some of our biscuits as well!

Before long it was time to get back to the hall to meet up with 'Maizey's Mum'!

We said Goodbye to Maizey and Hello to TM who was clearing up after her Master Class!

Back home to see what OTL has for dinner and is it worth mugging him!
