Wot a day we have had!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Wot a super day we have had today, loads of fun and some decisions to make!

Let me tell you what has happened!

It started off this morning when we went for our walk on the beach. First of all I went in for a little paddle, well, it was getting warm and I just felt I needed a paddle, just to cool off my bits!

I got hot bits!
Before we knew wot was happening we got a couple of Bull Dogs turn up on the Sea Wall who were very interested in the ferrets!

The first one looked over the edge and said......................

'Hush My Tail! Wot are they?'
Of course. Snowflake, who just doesn't like rude woofers, said, ' We iz Ferrets you pile of Woofer!'

She didn't realise that there was another Bull Dog Woofer who hadn't arrived at the Sea Wall  yet but said........................

Can we have them for breakfast with some Brown Sauce?
Of course, Old Two Legs gave them both a stroke and they almost forgot about the ferrets!

Back home to clear out the ferret house and get them ready for a days snoozing then we were off to the Kent County Show!

First stop was to watch the bird show. There was an Eagle Owl and some Vultures  and a Gyr Falcon that OTL said was Wow!

Gyr Falcon!
Alun fell in love with a Ford Mustang and insisted that OTL take his picture before he tried to get the salesman to let him buy it on the 'Never Never' out of his pension!

Alun's new car?
You know it was so embarrassing when he got thrown off the stand!

Poor Alun!

Holly and I found that there were loads of stalls had doggy bowls full of water outside their stalls for us woofers!

We could do with some ice cubes in this one!
Lunchtime we were in the Members Enclosure having some food and a rest in the shade.

This is the life!
All of a sudden there was this almighty roar as the Red Arrows went tearing over the show ground!

Noisy Jets!
I mean, just as we were getting restful and having a snooze, over they cam again, and again, and again, Gawd Wot a noise!

Why don't they just Woof Off!
OTL offered his lens to Glynis to have a try on her camera and while she was doing some 'Test Shots' he sneaked a picture or two of her!

Don't they look big!
I mean they kept swapping lenses and talking technical!

Boring or Wot!
It got all funny when Alun decided that he wanted a hat to keep the sun off his bald patch, just like OTL!

Unfortunately there was no mirror on the stand, so OTL had to take a picture of him, just to let him see wot he looked like!

Who's a Plonker then?
We called into the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue stand and there were two little lady ferrets that kept calling OTL Daddy!

OTL is a sucker for little ferrets with a sweet smile and those ferrets were smiling at him and licking his finger and pulling every trick in the book!

OTL says 'No' but as we left the stand we heard them call out 'Bye Bye Daddy'!

It's called Ferret Maths!

Wot Snowflake will say I have no idea but you can be sure she will sniff ferrets on OTL's finger!

Let's see what happens!

We are off to bed now 'cos it's been a long day and we got to be up early 'cos Archie Babe is coming to spend the day with us and Holly and I have sorted out some seriously good sniffs for him!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles!

We missed out on Rabbits but still had fun!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

What a mix up day it has been today. It started with Old Two Legs getting up earlier than normal 'cos he wanted to get a rush order packed and ready to send first thing.

We were down on the beach but the tide was right in and Miss Snowflake was in need of a wee, but she wouldn't move further up the beach, and so, she got a wet tail!

Wet Tail and a Wet Butt!

We had to chase some gulls off the beach before we had our game of 'Chase'!

Gerroffourbeach!
OTL and Alun went off to the carrier and then off to a Wild Life place where dogs are not allowed!

We had to make do with The Missus and Glynis taking us out and we found a Cinnabar Moth, the first this year!

Cinnabar Moth!
Mind you, it was rather hot!

Too hot for me!
OTL and Alun had a long walk around the park and OTL took some pictures of birds he saw, first was this Black Headed Gull who's had the black fading on his head!

I am changing OK?
There were loads of Ducks paddling around looking for food.

Hello Duckie!
One time they spotted a grey Heron but as soon as it saw the camera it ran away!

No Pictures!

When they got back home they had a big bag full of Chinese Food! There were Plawn Balls and Plawn Clackers and Chicken and Rice and Noodles and other stuff!

We did some serious mugging I tell you!

We're off to the Kent County Show tomorrow!

See you tomorrow with some good pictures!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Good Muggings Tonight!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

Another early start today, Old Two Legs had stuff to do and The Missus has been running around clearing up before Alun & Glynis arrive, (around midday)!

First thing we met was young Dave the Westie, he was so pleased to see us and kept on running around in circles and then up to OTL to have a tickle. The way he behaves you'd think he never got to see anyone from day to day!

Chase Me!
It was fun watching him run from us to OTL and then from OTL to us and back again!

Now I want a Tickle!
OTL was looking for Dragon Fly's but there were none to see, so he took pictures of the Wild Sweet Pea Plants instead, mind you, they look very pretty, I think it is the colour of the flower that does it!

Sweet Pea?
Back home we got served up Doggy Scoff! Not what we really wanted but I suppose we will have make up for it tonight. We have spotted Shortbread and crisps and nibbles and biscuits and Holly even saw some Twiglets!

We were just heading out for our afternoon walk when Alun & Glynis arrived, so it was a quick run around the Sea Wall and back home as fast as our legs would go. Well, it was the dark clouds that were acting like they wanted to rain on us, plus the thought of all those nibbles in containers on the coffee table that did it!

Rain Clouds?
Mind you, we did stop for a breather, just so OTL could get his breath back after chasing us all along the Sea Wall!

Come on, you must be rested by now!
Back home it was every woofer for her self! Loads of nibbles and I even got a couple of Twiglets as well.

Now, Holly and I are planning this evenings muggings, cheese on biscuits followed by shortbread and a carrot and followed by a teeth cleaning chew!

We know how to live!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It's an Installation Day!

Yo Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

It has been a fun day! Remember I said that the telephone man was coming to install a Fibre Cable line to us so we can catch up with the rest of civilisation?

Well, this morning at eight fifteen the man came a knocking on our door. It was The Missus that had to show him where all the telephone line ran all over the house. She knew 'cos she had to move loads of her craft stuff just so he could see the cable!

Her 'Work Station' had to be moved and then there was the store room with loads of plastic boxes of paper and card and stamps and dies and stencils and paint and inks and, well it goes on and on!

Old Two Legs and us Woofers headed for the beach!

Miss Snowflake went looking for Crabs and Slimy Things but couldn't find a thing!

Come on out, I know you're there somewhere!
When she got fed up she started to dig a hole in the sand, just to show Mr Brambles she was just as good as him!

Hey! Bumbles! Have a look at this hole!
Mr Brambles wasn't interested in looking at holes 'cos he and I had found a really stinky sniff and he was trying to get me to let him have a roll first!

Come on, let me go first!
The only problem was that OTL saw us and shoos us away from the sniff, so no one got a roll!

Mind you, both ferrets made up for it when they got to the grass path!

Will you stop tickling me!
Back home the telephone man was working well and it wasn't too long before there were flashing light son the two modems. It seems you need a modem to talk to the Fibre data and then another to talk to the computer, or something like that!

In the end the lights were going potty and OTL was bragging about the speed over what it was before.

That got us to lunchtime when we were down the beach again and the first thing we saw was the tide was well out of sight!

Mind you, that didn't stop the fishermen from taking up their places ready for when the water comes back in!

Well it's going to be ages before the water come back!
A bit further on there were some more getting ready for when the water comes back! I went along to see what was going on but Holly stayed up on the Sea Wall but she did call down..............

Remember, no food, No Strokes!
OTL was going along looking at almost every flower searching for bugs and other insects.

He came across a couple of Soldier Beetles making the most of the sun shine!

I just Love Spring!
OTL said that they were 'Making Beetles' but we couldn't see any small ones anywhere!

There were some dark clouds on the horizon this afternoon, looking like there will be some rain to cool things down a bit.

We are keeping our claws crossed for Friday 'cos we will be off to the Kent County Show with Alun and Glynis who are coming over for a few days.

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It's 'Sort Out Day'!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here!

It was cooler last night, just right for sleeping!

Mind you, that didn't stop The Missus from getting up early to start working on another 'Inspiration'!

Old Two Legs was up early as well, he just can't sleep after TM has started to crash about and Holly and I start licking his ears!

Down on the beach Holly was talking about spending all morning catching the rays!

Yeah, I could do this!
Mind you, the ferrets said that there was no way they were staying 'cos there was some ferret food and Ferretone waiting at home, plus, some of out doggy biscuits!

We're off!
Half way up the grass path OTL stopped to photograph this Skipper butterfly, trouble is, we are not sure which one it is but we are betting it is an Essex Skipper!

An Essex Skipper?
Lunchtime I was getting all excited about going down the beach again 'cos I wanted another swim.

When we got down there I was most disappointed, the tide was still out!

OTL said it was 'cos I got down there too early!

I mean, no water and no fishermen!

No Fisherman!
OTL pointed out that here were some strange looking clouds, but Holly and I were more interested in what the fisherman had left in his bag!

Strange Clouds!
We were having a slow walk and we even stopped at a bench for a rest when one of our woofer mates passed by and said it was just too hot for her!

Too Hot for Me!
 We know what she means!

Back home OTL and TM were shifting stuff so that the telephone man can install a new line called Fibre Optic which is supposed to give us faster broadband!

Does that mean it will be quicker to type this blog?

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Another Soggy Doggy Day!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles here again!

It has been warm again today, however, the sun was sort of missing this morning. Loads of dark clouds with rainy stuff getting ready to land on Old Two Legs!

Rains coming!
Mind you, it didn't stop Snowflake from having a hunt for monsters under the rocks!

Come on out, I know you are under there!
Mind you, when she was looking in the rock pools she came across a big Rock Pool Crab that looked like it could give her a nasty nip!

In fact there are two!
It wasn't long before the rain started and we just made it back to the car before the rain came down!

By lunch time it had got sunnier and OTL was there watching the F1 racing. Of course, just as it was getting interesting, I started to talk to him!

Now, to you Two Legs, I must sound a bit like 'Yarm, Yum, Arum, Yum' which, to OTL means, 'I want to go out for a walk'!

OTL is good really 'cos up he gets and off we go for our walk!

Of course, I was in for a swim while Holly went in search of shade!

There were loads of fishermen throwing worms into the sea but there were no fish being caught!

Too many fishermen!
While I was in swimming, OTL came across a snail jogging along the Sea Wall and telling OTL to get out of the way 'cos a snail was coming through!

London Marathon next?
Mmm! Racing Snails? Well, you have got to have a hobby and I suppose a snail who is into jogging is OK by me!

The sun was super and although it was hot, it wasn't hot enough to dry me off before we got back to the car.

A Soggy Doggy!
OTL was lucky 'cos The Missus had recorded the F! race and he was able to catch up with the race!

So, off we go and OTL has just got the shortbread out, so it's Mugging Time!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It's just too hot to be dry!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

Well, hasn't been a warm one today?

We were woken up at about three this morning with one of the neighbours shifting planks of wood in or out of his garden! No, we don't know either but he was making enough noise to wake Holly and me and once woken, that means 'Puppy Patrol'!

We had a march around the house but couldn't get out into the garden, so, a quick woof in Old Two Legs ear got him into a vertical position and, bouncing off the wall as he fell down the stairs,  he landed at the kitchen door to let us out!

Of course, the planking neighbour got the message and stopped making all that noise!

Now, out on early morning patrol means we didn't get up until late, in fact The Missus had left in the small car to take all her stuff up the hall for her 'Master Class'!

No big deal, we knew she would bring it back so we can go walkies later. When she did bring it back, she got out of the car and walked off back to the hall.

She didn't come in to say Bye Bye, she didn't even wave at us who were up at the window watching her!

No strokes for her tonight!

Down on the beach it was getting warm and even Miss Snowflake was looking for rock pools to paddle her paws in!

Looks Wet!
We came across a new Doodle Type of woofer who was soaking wet, but we couldn't work out where the water came from 'cos the tide was out!

A Wet Doodle!
Both ferrets went for a rampage through the sea weed while Holly and I said hello to the lads while the Two Legs were having their early morning gas!
The Morning Gas Bags!
Lunchtime we were back down the beach and the tide was almost right in! I had a great time 'cos I found a stick and OTL threw it in for me and I got soaking wet all over!

This is Good!
Holly, on the other paw, decided that swimming was stupid and a warm pile of stones was a better bet!

No, That's Stupid!
So there I was, happily splashing in and out of the water when this low flying jet came screaming past and landed in the water!

Wot The Woofin' Heck?
 It was Bella the Staffy!

She loves the water as much as I do and we had great time chasing her ball in and out of the water. I must admit, she always beat me to the ball but it still was fun trying to keep up with her!

A Game of Catch Me!
The best bit was when she was half way up the beach and the ball was thrown and she and I ran down the beach and jumped into the water.

She always beats me but, well, she is bigger and faster than me!

Making a Big Splash!
All this time Holly was hiding away in the shade of the sea wall and resting he butt on the wet sea weed!

A Sensible place to be!
On the way back to the car she also found all the shady bits to wait for OTL to catch us up!

I know all the best places!
We are looking forward to a quiet evening tonight, a slurp of single malt and some shortbread should just hit the mark, OTL has the single malt and Holly and I help with the shortbread!

See you tomorrow Woofers!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.

It's Friday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles back again!

Another super day, it wasn't too hot last night so we all got a good sleep!

Even the ferrets were late in getting up!

Old Two Legs got their breakfast and his and went up to the office. Now up there OTL has a machine for shredding bits of paper he has finished with and doesn't want to just throw into the bin.

Today it was full to overflowing and he emptied the shredded paper into a plastic bag and put that under the desk. Forgetting that ferrets like to have a 'Ferret around' anything new in the room!

Yep! You guessed it, the pair of the were rolling about in it and then they started to kick it all over the place and in the end there was more on the office floor than in the rubbish bag!

OTL said he couldn't get too upset 'cos it was so funny watching the ferrets enjoy themselves in the shredded paper!

Down on the beach we found a used Bar B Q tray that someone had left on the sand, no food, just the empty tray!

OK, where's the food?
OTL was clicking away at the insects on the plants and came across this Buff Tailed Bumblebee!

Buzzy Buzzy!
Back in the car, Bramble had a drink from our water bowl but Snowflake would only drink from the ferret bottle!

Glug, Glug, Licky, Licky, Slurp, Slurp!
It took OTL ages to clear up all the shredded paper but in the end he went back to 'Real Work' while us woofer went back to snoozing!

Lunchtime was fun, it was too rough to go in swimming but we saw a fisherman on the beach who not only had caught no fish but he had run out of worms and was taking apart his sandwiches to put on the hook!

Wot a waste of sarnies!
We left him to it and carried on looking for a place to swim but all the way down the sea wall it was splashing so much that even I reckon it was not swimming weather!

Too Splashy!
Up on the grass path, OTL found that Soldier Beetle again and we asked him what he was hanging about for. 'Well' says the Soldier Beetle, 'I'm waiting for the women!'

It's breeding time!
So, we left him to it and headed for home where the sun had moved away from the back garden, so it was nice and cool, just right for snoozing!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Snowflake and Mr Brambles.
