A New Woofer!

Hello my merry Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret back again!

Now, first of all, sit up straight and listen!

We have a new Woofer to say hello to!

May I introduce little Miss Bella, the latest addition to the Hamish & Izzy family!

Miss Bella!
Wot a little darling!

We look forward to meeting her if she comes down this end of the world or maybe we will meet when we go North later this year!

Holly was playing 'Hard to Get' when she saw Bert on the Sea Wall. Poor lad was all excited and looking forward to rubbing noses but Holly stayed on the beach and wiggled her tail at him!

I'll wind him up today!
We saw a ship sailing by but couldn't properly identify it, Old Two Legs said it looked like a Sea Going Tug but couldn't be 100% sure! Maybe next time we'll get a better view!

A possible Sea Tug.
In the afternoon we saw a big container ship heading up the Thames, big but not the biggest we have seen!

Heading up the Thames to Tilbury Container Docks.
One of the best things was the tide, it was right in and just calling out for a swim!

You just can't beat a cooling swim!
I was straight in and splashing about chasing twigs that OTL had found on the beach!

Holly decided to keep out and although they were warm both ferrets said they prefer a shady spot under the Sea Kale Plant!

This afternoon OTL headed off to see the Accountant to take a load of paper for him to sort out, something called VAT!

We decided to stay at home but we wished we hadn't 'cos OTL stopped off at the Doggy Shop!

He loaded up with 'Pet Disinfectant' and Doggy Biscuits and Chicken Strips, for the ferrets.

Then he got a whacking big bed that is big enough for both Holly and me to lay down in, at the same time!

So now it looks like we are banned to the back seat with the ferrets!

Mind you, we will be able to transfer it to the Big Car when we go on holiday!

Now we are off to see if we can mug OTL for some of his Bambi Burgers!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

Home Alone Again!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret here!

Today should have been a lazy day, weeing, pooing and snoozing with a slight pause for some nibbles!

Instead what did we get?

It started off with Miss May getting lost, well, she was nowhere to be seen this morning after getting out of the cage for breakfast. It wasn't until Old Two Legs heard some noise coming from the office rubbish bin!

Loads a Stuff in Here!
Of course it was a game trying to get May out of the bin! Once she was extracted and dug out of the plastic bags she was all for going back in again!

Come on! I want to get back in again!
By the time she had finished she was ready for the final treat, a Slurp of Ferretone!

Come on, get the bottle out!
OTL left the bottle next to the post weighing machine and by the time she had finished, the cap was bone dry!

This is the best treat!
We headed off to the beach and I spotted the best ship this week!

It's a Cruse Liner!

If you look carefully on the bows you can see 'The World', dunno if it's called that though!

The World heading up The Thames!
We got back and after cleaning the ferret cages both OTL and The Missus said 'Bye Bye' and flew out the door!

We sat up at the window for a bit but they didn't come back. I went off to snooze on OTL's trousers he had left on the bed. Holly stayed looking out the window for half an hour before joining me on the bed!

Waiting for my Two Legs to come back!
Auntie Sheila came over to let us out in the garden for a wee but it wasn't really the same as being down the beach!

It seems that TM and OTL were off to see young Dawn christened, do you know that TM is a 'Great Grandmother' and OTL is a 'Great Grandfather' but by marriage only!

Come on Great Grandfather get the font ready, I want a paddle!
It wasn't too long before they arrived back home and Holly and I went a little potty as they came through the door!

OTL gathered up the ferrets and we were straight out for a walk along the beach!

It was all thirsty work but very enjoyable!

I really need this!
In the new car we are banned to the back seat, which is folded flat! OTL says that he will get a Woofer Bed to make the ride a little softer. Let's face it, anything is softer than a Doggy Towel!

A New Car, you'd have thought he would have got a proper bed for us!
Well, that's it for now, we are off to watch the F1 race that TM recorded today.

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

A New Car and OTL looks at New Ferrets!

Hello all you Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret here!

It's been an 'Odd Ball' type of day today!

We started off down the beach this morning and you know what? There were no ships passing by!

I see no ships!
Holly and I decided that as the tide was out and the ferrets were digging holes, we would have a rest on the beach and enjoy the sun!

Pass the Factor 35 Sis!
Back home Old Two Legs finished the cage cleaning and 'De Poo'ing' then went down to watch the F1 practise but I just fancied another trip down the beach!

So, I started to 'Talk' to OTL!

It's a special sort of voice I put on and to anyone else it would sound like 'Yoururinnyummarniner' but OTL knows it means 'I wanna go our 'cos I'm bored with this motor racing and on top of that I fancy a wee'!

So, off we went!

I was rewarded with another boat and this one is classed as a 'Leisure Craft', so that's another Tick in the book!

Holly and I did our 'Waving' bit but there was no response from the Captain!

Too posh to wave at us!
I went off to have a dip while Fred and Wendy were rooting about in the Sea Kale plant looking for Shrews that were supposed to live there, according to Miss May that is!

I wonder if there are any crocodiles here?
After getting back home we expected OTL to fall asleep in front of the TV but instead he waved us 'Good Bye' and headed off to a local school where they don't allow dogs!

He met up with Roy and Christine from the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue who were putting on a Ferret Racing Demo and of course, talking about how wonderful ferrets were!

OTL didn't take his camera, just his phone, but he got a shot of this young ferret who pinched the bottle of Ferret Oil and refused to give it back!

Got it!
OTL said that he had cuddled some very young ferrets, all of nine weeks old and of course, he fell in love with them and just couldn't stop himself from giving each of them a cuddle!

The Missus had told OTL that he could go and see Roy and Christine to pass over the donation to the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue from The Allhallows Croppers who did that Card O Thong thingy! Plus there were donations from Elaine (Archie's Mum) and Jeanette (Izzy and Hamish's Mum).

Roy and Chris said that they were so grateful for the cheque and it would help so much with the upkeep of the 'Rescue'!

OTL came home and showed us some pictures of the ferrets and he said that he had been given a 'New Sort of Ferret' that was coming to live with us and share Holly and my bed at night!

Then OTL showed us a picture of this 'New Ferret'!

He is sleeping on his own tonight!

Then Holly and I found out it was a 'Tricksie' program OTL had got on his mobile phone and he was just 'Pulling Our Tail'!

Just wait until dinner time!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

A New Ship and a New Car!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret back again!

Exciting times here in a cloudy and damp North Kent!

Down on the beach I spotted another boat charging up the Medway!

It was a RNLI boat but unfortunately we couldn't see the name only the number 2 on the bow!

I'm sure they waved at us!
Holly was jumping up and down and I stood on my back legs and we waved at them as they went past and Holly reckons they waved back!

Then it started to rain, so once again, a quick wee and a poo and back to the car!

We had to get back home 'cos a Heating Engineer was due to arrive to look for a leak in the system, Old Two Legs has been searching for ages but so far we have found nothing!

May and April were charging about the lounge when he arrived and OTL had to do some quick 'Ferret Collecting' before he was allowed in the front door!

Well, after loads of looking and tapping pipes and poking they still couldn't find a leak!

Now they are talking about replacing all the old pipes in the heating system!

Lunchtime it was all rush and tear again 'cos Old Two Legs had to call into one of his customers before collecting The Missus and heading off to collect the new car!

Holly and I decided to stay at home and wait until they got home before viewing the new car!

We were up at the  window watching out for them when first arrived OTL and parked the big car in front of the house and then TM pulled into the road and we got a look at the new car!

Well, it is White and it is about the same size as the old one but it lacks the dirt and mud!

OTL said that a couple of runs down to the beach will cure that 'cos the farmer has been driving his tractor all over the fields and now has left mud all over the road!

We are going to try it out tomorrow morning as we go for the morning walk, let's hope the rain holds off  'cos we could end up with muddy paws all over the car seats!

We are off now to hunt for frogs, we reckon it is about time they showed up on the Lilly Pads!

Archie Babe is so lucky to have thousands of them in his garden, we reckon it might be the local cats who have been lurking in our garden at night that has driven off all the frogs!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

Another tick off the list!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret back with you again!

Didn't it rain this morning?

We hung about before going out and Old Two Legs was busy studying the radar looking for a 'Window' in the rain clouds.

We got down to the car park and waited five minutes before setting off down to the beach.

We never got down to the beach, we did a quick wee and a poo and headed back to the car!

It was just too wet!

Lunchtime the rain had stopped so we picked up Fred and Wendy and headed off to have a dig in the sand!

Freddy Boy was the first on the beach and started to dig straight away!

OK, I'm first!
Then little Wendy was down and digging but managed to get some sand up her nose which made her sneeze!

This sand gets everywhere!
It wasn't raining but there were dark clouds blowing over the top of us!

Impending rain!
Once off the beach both ferrets had a great time rolling in the grass and sniffing the sniffs!

Then they chased each other almost all the way back to the car park!

Come on, I'll race you down to the car park!
Holly was playing 'Hide n Seek' and ducked down in the 'outlet channel' in the sea wall.

OTL spotted her!

Bet you can't see me!
I was keeping an eye open for any new ships out on the sea and I spotted what looks like a 'Ro-Ro'.

This is a small ship that is used as a car transporter and the vehicles Roll on and Roll off, hence the name of 'Ro-Ro'!

Another tick off the ship list!
OTL went off this afternoon to get some paperwork down to the car people. That way when he goes down to pick it up tomorrow, the car will be fully insured!

Holly and I are looking forward to having a ride in the new car but OTL says we got to have clean paws before we will be allowed inside!

Dirty paws? Us? Never!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

A Ferret Break Out!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret back again!

It has been an 'Exciting Day' today!

You see it started off all sunny and warm. When we got to the car park by the sea there were loads of rabbits waiting to be chased!

Holly and I did our best but those pesky rabbits run away before we had a chance to get them!

Rabbit Pie?
Down on the beach the tide was in and of course, I just had to have an early morning dip!

OK, where is the stick?
While I was splashing about I spotted a ship on the horizon, heading into the River Thames. It was a small, container type cargo ship.

Another one to tick off the list!

A Container Cargo Ship!
Old Two Legs found a short stick and kindly threw it out into the water a few times so I could get my exercise swimming backwards and forwards into the sea and back to the shore!

OK, just one more time!
Back home there was some of that 'Posh Scoff'  that I am getting a taste for and Holly will eat, but only as a last resort!

OTL went off cleaning the ferret cages, The Page 3 Girls first.

After they were put back, Fred and Wendy were let out for a rampage around the house. It all started off OK but after a game both ferrets disappeared!

I mean, really disappeared, like nowhere to be seen.

What was worse, The Missus had left the kitchen door to the garden wide open!

Panic Time!

OTL reckons the ferrets have a fifteen minute start on him and we didn't know which way they were heading!

TM was banging on the neighbours front doors asking them to check their back gardens for little furies on the rampage.

One neighbour went up to the football field just in case they had headed that way while OTL was looking under all the bushes in the front gardens.

Then there was a shout from one neighbour that they had seen a small brown thing down the side of their shed and OTL was there like a flash, it was Wendy looking all confused and scared!

She started to come to OTL when he called her but a dog woofed in the next garden and Wendy disappeared under the shed and refused to budge!

While this was happening the neighbour returned from the football field to find Freddy in her front porch looking for food, as he does!

TM marched him off to his cage and went back to help OTL coax Wendy out from under the shed.

It took a slurp of Ferretone to entice her far enough out from under the shed, and OTL poking her with a broom handle, for TM to grab Wendy.

Poor little girl was all scared and shaking and looking terribly worried!

Plus, she had been in some terrible sniff under the shed which OTL had to wash off her before she went back into the cage with Freddy!

So, all ended happily, ferrets back and TM will have to make sure the door is locked next time!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

A Day For Rolling in Sniffs!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret here again!

The Missus is pleased with her You Tube Video and has returned the laptop to us!

The weather has been 'Acceptable' like, not too hot and not too cold!

On our way down to the beach Holly came across a irresistible sniff and got into trouble by having a roll!

I don't care, I just Got To Roll!
Miss April rode in the ferret bag all the way down to the beach but she was soon into hole digging as soon as her paws hit the beach!

This is a 'Hole' lot of fun!
Miss May was soon after April and down onto the sand to dig her own hole!

This is how to dig a hole!
I was down in the water having a 'Deep Paddle' and spotted a container ship out on the horizon.

Another 'Tick' in the record book!

You just can't beat an early morning dip!
April says that although digging in the sand is fun, she still prefers the grass sniffs and rolling in the clover!

No sand in your claws here in the grass!
Lunchtime Miss Wendy was first on the beach and she soon set about ploughing the beach with her nose!

Brrrm, Brrrm!
Holly spotted another ship and she said it was a 'Gravel Gulper' on it's way out to the gravel banks!

I Eat Gravel!
Mind you, Holly said she felt 'Lazy' today and spent some time 'Resting' in the beach!

I could do with a cushion to rest my chin on!
Young Freddy was having a great time under the Sea Kale plant, he said there was a slug and he was having 'Discussions' regarding ownership of the Sea Kale bush.

Freddy said that he had 'impressed' upon the slug just how sharp a ferrets teeth are!

Mmmmmm! Tasty!
Back home we all settled down for a snooze before dinner!

Hey! It's good news that Archie Babe is cutting down on the medication. Having to chew on all of those pills don't half give you a thirst!

On Friday we have got to attend the vet 'cos it is time for our Worming Tablets. They taste horrid and it is always a laugh spitting them out again after OTL has wrapped them in Yum Yum food to tempt us to eat them!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

We're Back!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret here!

Well, here we are, back again after the laptop was hijacked by The Missus to produce a 'How to Do' video! ( https://youtu.be/KyuxQzOaFWI )

It seems that the video is made and saved in one file format, then, the editing program saves it all in another file format and finally YouTube won't look at either of the formats and requires yet another file format!

In the end it was all changed and uploaded to YouTube only to find that the video was too long!

Old Two Legs had to extend the allowed video length, which was a bit of a trick!

Finally it was up and running and we now have a smiling TM!

What have we been doing? Well, to be honest, not much! Sniffing on the beach and rolling in sniff!

We have also started to do 'Ship Spotting', you know, it's a bit like Bird Watching but a good deal slower!

This is the first sailing ketch. That thing hanging down is a sort of movable keel if the wind blows!

It has one on the other side as well!

Yo Ho Me Hearties Yo!
Miss April is responding well to her medication and is even pushing and shoving May out of the way, a bit like Holly on a mission!

Gerroutamyhole!
Mind you, she still gets tired quickly but she knows just how to get a lift!

Gissa Lift OTL?
OTL is a real sucker for a sad face!

Holly and I spotted another ship going past, it was a Sea Going Tug, heading for a cargo ship that was coming into dock at Sheerness.

A ship designed for Shoving!
Now that we got the laptop back we will be able to get the blog out earlier!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Mr Freddy de Ferret.

Wot a Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret here!

It has been a super sunny day today and Old Two Legs has been suffering from his Hay Fever!

Where we go for a walk down to the beach the local parish council have been out cutting the grass. This means that the pollen has been blown up into the air and because there is little wind, it drops back down again to rest on the cut grass.

Now, that's OK but when you walk on the grass, you blow the pollen up into the air again and straight up OTL's nose and into his eyes and mouth.

Result?

He has been sneezing his tail off all day!

When he get going it can sound like thunder!

Last week they blew down the last building at the Power Station and you know what? OTL sneeze is louder!

I wonder if we should give him the job of blowing down the chimney!

OK, your next!
Down on the beach OTL took a photo of the sky and clouds and on inspection we found that a UFO had been captured!

We have zoomed up the picture and reckon it is a bumble bee flying past!

An Unidentified Flying (Buzzing) Object!
Because it was so warm today, OTL decided to let the ferrets get back into the bag if they got too hot. Miss April was the first one back and stayed in the bag, sitting in OTL's cupped hand, all the way back to the bench. It was only then that she decided to get back down for a wee and a poo before getting back to the car!

I want a lift!
Lunch time it was even warmer and Freddy took full advantage of the 'Lift Option' and got carried all the way back to the bench!

Miss Wendy said that he was a Lazy Ferret who needed the exercise 'cos his tummy is too large!

She showed him up by running almost all the way back to the car!

Where is the Yellow Filter?
Today the clouds we quite dramatic and OTL said he should have brought his B&W camera but as he wasn't wearing his coat, there was nowhere to keep the camera, the ferrets having taken over the 'Ferret Bag!

So, you will have to look at the picture and pretend that it is in B&W and it looks 'Dramatic'!

Not sure what the weather is going to be tomorrow, sunny we hope and OTL is going to charge up the batteries in his B&W camera, just in case the clouds get all 'Dramatic'!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.

Freddy finds out what a puddle is for!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret back again!

Wot a glorious day it has been today, loads of sunshine, no storms and plenty of sand to dig in!

I see May is digging another hole!
Even little April joined in the fun!

She decided that a lift in the ferret bag was a good idea, so, while she was looking at the world over the top of the bag, Miss May was rampaging all over the beach!

Watch it, she's started to look our way!
When we got back home, The Missus grabbed the car and headed off to do some shopping while Old Two Legs got going with the ferret cage cleaning!

Freddy just loves his time out of the cage while OTL is doing the 'House Work'.

He chases Wendy up and down the stairs and she sometimes attacks him and runs away, looking over her shoulder, just to make sure he is following!

OTL says she is a 'Right Tart' just like Holly Dog!

We got out again at lunchtime and headed down to the beach but today the tide was well out and I didn't get a swim!

If only that tide would hurry up!
I was thinking how I could get a paddle when young Freddy came along the Sea Wall and announced that he was just Too Hot!

He asked just how a ferret could cool down before he got home.

Then I had an idea!

Stick with me Freddy, I've got an idea!
With all this rain we have had over the last few days, there has been some deep puddles left on the roads and the grass path, so, on our way back to the car I told Fred and Wendy to have a swim in the puddles!

Freddy galloped down the hill with Wendy on his heels and then they both went splosh!

I could get used to this!
Wendy rolled over, got soaking wet all over then raced out of the puddle for a roll in the grass leaving Freddy to swim up and down the puddle!

Now I'm going to try breast stroke!
Back in the car we had to give them both a rub down but OTL just couldn't wipe the grin off Freddy's chops!

Holly and I decided to stay at home while OTL went off to get the big car. You know what? He was crying all the way home!

The weekend is here, so we plan to have some fun. OTL says he may open up another bottle of whisky to celebrate the results of the referendum. He said that back in 1975 he voted for  joining but says that it hasn't been such a big deal and now he reckons we can get back to making Britain 'Great' again!

Me? I know nothing, as long as I can get my nibbles and a walk, I'm OK!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss April, Miss Wendy and Freddy de Ferret.
