Here comes the Sun!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, wot a day!

First of all, The Missus was up just too early for anyone to believe! Rattling around getting all her stuff ready for the Master Class today in the village hall.

That means Old Two Legs was up too early as well and of course, that means we were down the sea front very early!

Unfortunately, we didn't get a good sunrise, in fact it was rather 'Whishy Whashy' if you know what I mean!

Not really exciting is it?
OTL thought it would be better around the other side of the bush but by the time we got there.......

It's Gone!
Back home it was busy busy getting things sorted out and OTL was charging up all the batteries for the camera's and also 'Calabrating' them. So, instead of taking a couple of hours the charging was taking all day, or all night, depending on when he started the charging!

Lunchtime came and there was this thing hanging up in the sky, it was the sun!

No, really, the sun had finally come out and was shining down making everything sniff new!

We went for a walk over the football field and down the side of the field. The football field had just been mowed and that means super sniffs to roll in!

This is good, Oh, this is really good!
Even OTL was looking at the trees and telling us all about the leaves.

Boring!

Well, yes, I suppose it looks pretty!
Down the side of the field there were loads of new sniffs and loads of insects running about. We saw loads of ants running around making up for all the damp weather we have had of late!

These ants are everywhere!
We spotted a Painted Lady butterfly, the first this year and OTL chased it all the way down the path until he snapped this shot!

First one this year!
Tomorrow OTL will be finishing his packing and will be heading off leaving us behind. On Monday Holly goes in for her 'Proceedure' and will miss having OTL to hold her paw!

We will have to telephone him to let him know how it went and what they found in her ear.

Freddy said it was more than likely her brain leaking out!

Right, we are off to help OTL put all the batteries back in the case and if we get lucky, we may even get a bash at OTL's kebab tonight. If we don't get lucky it will be salad and ham for him!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Holly Chops has a Little Mate!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Good news! We can say with a certain amount of certainty, Sheerness is back where it is supposed to be!

I told you it was there, I could sniff the Kebab Shops!
Now, Old Two Legs reckons he has better eye sight than us woofers but we reckon it is only 'cos his eyes are six foot off the ground while us woofers eyes are only twelve inches above ground, however, I will admit I didn't see the Bunny in the bushes but OTL did and just to rub it in a bit, he took a picture!

Stay still and the woofers will miss you, most times!
Lunchtime we left the ferrets to sleep the day away and went out for a walk on our own with OTL. It was a good thing the ferrets weren't with us 'cos we met up with some Poodley Woofers and another woofer who looked like a Holly Chops!

We were all around the same height so we all had a 'Sniff In', just to say hello!

Nothing like a 'Sniff In' to make friends!
Of course, the moment the Poodley Woofers saw OTL they were off for a tickle and a stroke!

OK, sniff over, now for a stroke!
We headed back to the football field and spotted the Groundsman drawing white lines all over the place, getting ready for the football match next week. Holly said she wouldn't mind trying out for the team but decided to leave it when she heard that you couldn't bite the ball!

I mean, wot a silly game where you can't kill the ball!

It wouldn't be so bad but the lines wiggle in the middle!
Back home OTL telephoned the vet to get the results of Holly's swabs and was told Holly had an infection caused by Streptoecocklewogglewossit thingy. That was it, stop taking the ear drops and come down to the vet for a different ear drops and a rinse out of her ear!

Now that wouldn't have been so bad but after washing the ear, having some hair shaved off and that light thingy shoved down inside her ear, Holly and OTL was told that there was 'Something' right at the bottom of her ear!

Two nurses, the vet and OTL just couldn't hold Holly still enough to get this thing out, so, Monday morning Holly has an appointment with the vet and a syringe full of 'Knockout Drops' to send her off to snooze land so the vet can have a poke around with the light thingy and a pair of forceps designed for ear poking!

It's a pity OTL will be in Scotland but I'm sure The Missus will be able to cope and we can always talk to OTL on the phone and tell him all about it!

One thing Holly is not happy about, no food before getting the 'Knockout Drops'!

When Holly heard that all she would say was 'Rat Holes'!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

It's still Foggy,Misty and Murky!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

There we were looking forward to a wonderful day of sun shine and balmy breezes and a roll on the beach.

Well, we can wish!

Just like yesterday!

You know, we reckon someone has run off with Sheerness cos we haven't seen it for almost a week and today wasn't any different!

OK, I know where it should be but it ain't there any more!
The wind was gentle but it was sort of 'Soggy' and we slowly got sort of damp as we went along.

I'll be glad to get back to the car and roll on the seat to get this damp off my tail!
We got home and Holly got her ears done and her eyes washed out as well. The ferrets got to have a great rampage around the house and Miss May got her ears de-waxed as well!

OTL was ordering a new battery for the caravan and has found a new sort of battery, it is a AGM battery. The AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat which is supposed to be better than the old type of battery and last longer!

Well, if it saves him a couple of shillings!

Lunchtime Eric and May came out with us, it took a while to get them moving but pretty soon they were bounding along to path complaining they got wet tummies!

It's not only my tummy that's wet and soggy!
Back in the car the pair wrapped themselves up in the blanket and were soon all dry and warm!

The Weather forecast has been for 'Sunny Spells' in the afternoon but they seem to have missed us all together! Still, next week is supposed to be sunny even up in Scotland so Old Two Legs won't get too wet!

Holly has been a good girl, she kept the head band on her head all last night, seems she is getting used to it now and doesn't even try to remove it during the night!

I must admit, I don't think I could spend all night with that thing on my head!

Right, we are off to see what is being cooked for dinner tonight, we know it's Doggy Scoff for us but OTL should be getting something tasty, even if there is salad with it!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

I just don't believe it!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, we got wind but the misty foggy stuff is still hanging about! I mean, is it just where we live or is it like this all over the place?

I think it's following us!
The morning run was rather uninspiring and you know, we couldn't even see Sheerness!

Come on, let's go home and chase a ferret!
When we got back, there was Dave, Dave the Caravan Man!

Dave come around every year and gives the caravan a full service and does any repairs needed. We had great fun sitting up at the window and woofing some helpful tips on caravan servicing!

Wot I need is a bigger hammer!
We had fun watching Dave and Holly even forgot about the head band she has to wear to stop he shaking all the ear drops out and over the walls and furniture!

Lunchtime arrived and today we took Freddy and Wendy out with us and although the misty fog was still there they enjoyed a wander along the sea shore and of course Freddy managed to twist his tail and therefore he needed a cuddle from Old Two Legs.

A little while later he wriggled to get down and then raced off down the path!

No sign of a sore tail!

We did notice that the buds were beginning to burst and the hedgerow was beginning to look a delightful shade of green!

Spring iz Sprung!
We got an email to tell us our Wormer Tablets are ready to collect from the vet, so Holly and I am looking forward to having some fun when OTL tries to get us to swallow them!

So, that's it for today, OTL is still gathering bits ready for his trip up to The Isle of Mull next week.

Trouble is, he is not taking us!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Play Misty?

Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wot is wrong with the weather?

We went out this morning and there was no change from yesterday, we couldn't see the sea!

The camera was left in the car, well, it is a waste of effort to carry a camera and not use it!

This morning Old Two Legs was making sure things all work in the camera box. He even set up the big lens and clicked a few pictures of the sparrows in the garden!

Mr Sparrow checking out the seed feeders!
We looked out for other birds but it was sparrow, sparrow and even more sparrows!

Mrs Sparrow keeping an eye on Mr Sparrow!
I must admit, checking out the sparrows can get a bit boring so it made a change to zoom in on the flower on the plant thingy by the fence!

No, we don't know what it is but it's been here as long as we have!
It would have been good to get the Sparrow Hawk munching away on some unlucky inhabitant of the garden but we only got the Sparrow!

I keep hearing a clicking noise!
Well, that was the big lens sorted, he then went through the lenses he will take including the Fisheye lens that sort of makes everything circular until he plays 'Fiddly Diddly' with the computer!

Before and.........
There you are, a quick Fiddly Diddly and we could see the ferrets, if they weren't fast asleep!

Not a ferret to be seen, but it looks almost normal!
So, that's it really, a rather uninspiring day but we did finish clearing out the cupboard and have a couple of boxes full of stuff for the recycle yard tomorrow. We may even get to go with OTL when he goes!

OTL has been onto the vets again but it's only for a couple of worming tablets for Holly and me and he requested they by email!

It's a good job we don't have our butt's looked at like wot Archie Babe does, I mean, poke around in our ears is one thing but butt poking? No thank you!

Dinner calls!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Poor Holly, Poorer OTL!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wot a rotten day it's been, no sun, a little rain, horrid misty foggy stuff and on top of that Holly had a trip to the vets!

The weather has been so bad that Old Two Legs didn't even take the camera out today, and that's bad!

The morning run was done at double speed because the rain was starting to fall. We got home just in time and after the ferrets had been out for their rampage around the house, OTL made the phone call to the vet.

Now, Holly Chops has been troubled by an infection in her eyes. It's her own fault, she keeps burying her nose into the sand and gets all the beach onto her face and of course her eyes suffer!

Then, for some reason or other she has got an infection in her ear. Just the one ear, it is all red and sore  and of course when she scratches it with her paw, it makes it worse!

We have had some stuff from the vet before but it didn't do any good so today we got out the big guns!

The vet has taken a swab from her ears and has sent it off for 'Culture Testing' which means that they are checking if for a fungal infection and they will 'Grow' the fungus and see wot it is!

In the mean time, Holly has been prescribed some anti biotic pills and some ear drops which, we hope, will reduce the soreness in the ear.

This all took about twenty minutes and cost OTL a fortune!

He was sobbing hysterically and wringing his paws!

I think he was putting it on but we got to get Holly's ears sorted!

So that's it today, sorry no photos but you can't do much with mist!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Wot Happened to the Sun?

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Wot a gloomy old day.

We thought it would be all sunny and warm balmy breezes blowing up from the south but when we went out this morning it even rained on us!

Not much but it showed up on Old Two Legs jacket!

I had some fun stalking a Bunny Rabbit but before I could get near enough to twist his tail, Holly came bursting out of the car, woofing her tail off and scared the Bunny into the brambles!

Another couple of minutes and I could have caught him!
Down on the sea front it wasn't exactly the most exciting view of the sea, in fact, we couldn't see the sea!

Not a Wave to be seen on a sea coloured green!
Back home we helped OTL sort out his camera gear ready for next week. The ferrets helped as well, Young Eric spent some time trying to sort out the big box that all the lens and camera bodies are kept in but  all he did really was to get tangled up in the mountain of wire that was attached to technical looking stuff!

Lunchtime we were down the sea shore again and it really hadn't changed from this morning except the sea had gone out!

OTL came across a little Jack Russell woofer who took a fancy to OTL. She kept dancing around him and then cuddled up to him so he could tickle her tail!

Wot a Tart!
We managed to get all the camera stuff sorted before we got the telephone call from The Missus for OTL to collect her from the station. You see, she has been off to Ally Pally today to spend all her pension on stamps and inks and other stuff she really NEEDS!

With a bit of luck we may watch The Last Jedi again cos it has a load of story lines in it and you have to be careful or you will get all mixed up!

Tonight we won't get Plawn Clackers like wot we did last night I suppose it will be Doggy Scoff and a nibble of carrot!

We know how to live!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Fun with OTL!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Well, we have had some fun today. It started off with Old Two Legs oversleeping by a good thirty minutes, mind you, Holly and I didn't mind 'cos we were snoozing as well!

As normal, we missed the sunrise by a day and three quarters and it took OTL to do the 'Fiddly Diddly' with the camera to even look like it could be a morning shot!

Fiddly Diddly Time!
It really wasn't the best shot he has taken and even when we were on our way back to the car it hadn't improved at all!

Fiddly Diddly and stand on one leg and stick your tongue out!
No, that didn't help either!

So, just to show off a bit he took a picture of the Hawthorn Blossom, not bad!

OK, yes, he had to do a little Fiddly Diddly but it looks OK!
Today we have been sorting out a load of old and redundant electronic , computer and camera stuff that has been building up for some time. So not we have a bin full of stuff fot the bin men and a box of stuff for the loft and five Morse Keys for eBay!

We have even got a Sony Mavica Digital Camera for eBay as well. This camera was the first one to be sold to the public and it recorded the pictures on the old 'Floppy Disc'! Whats more, it works, has the battery charger and even a floppy disc in the camera!

Talk about ancient!

Lunchtime we were out over the field 'cos we couldn't spare the time for a run on the beach, too many 'Loft Finds'!

One good thing, we got the DVD of The Last Jedi delivered today. So, tonight it is Chinese Take A Way and watch the film!

Do we know how to live or wot?

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Fantastic Friday!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a super day it's  been, sunshine and howling wind! (and that's not Holly!)

We managed to get up a whole half an hour later than our normal time. Blame Old Two Legs for that, after a evening of tasting the whisky bottle he tends to sleep soundly.

Unfortunately it also means he snores and keeps waking Holly and me. The Missus doesn't hear him cos she is making just as much noise as OTL and that's without the whisky!

You can see just how far up the sun has got!
We met up with that Dopey Bozo who thinks OTL is wunderful, I mean, just look at him going all silly!

Yo! OTL!
Back home Holly and I enjoyed a snooze on the bed while at the same time keeping a watch out of the window. We normally manage to woof at a few TL's who dare to pass the window without first getting permission!

Of course, there are the local cats who think it is fun to have a poo on our drive!

We wait until they get to squat down then we let them have the full works!

There is nothing so funny as a cat leaping over the wall when they are half way through a poo!

The sun was out at lunchtime so today Eric and May came out with us. It was May's first outing since she had her injection but she looked good and after a little carry and a cuddle she was down and ferreting around in the grass!

Young Eric was in hunting mode and even found some holes that he reckoned were Rat Holes!

Here! I found a hole, could it be a Rat Hole?
It took Holly to point out that the hole was only two inches deep and rats would need deeper holes than that!

After that Eric looked into every hole on the way back to the football field but it didn't help to have Holly pointing out worm holes and saying it was a Baby Rat Hole!

My Ho My! Just look at the size of this hole!
In the end Eric gave up and went off looking for moles but they seemed to have disappeared as well!

He managed to keep up with May in a race back to the car and a drink from the water bowl that  OTL keeps just for us!

Come on Eric, 'll race you back!
It was good to see that May wasn't limping or showing any recurrence of her 'Wobbly Behaviour' so we reckon she is 'Back to Normal!'

As it is Friday, OTL reckons to finish early, well, maybe around four thirty!

We got the whole of the weekend to look forward to. TM is up the village hall tomorrow and on Sunday she is up at Ally Pally to meet all her mates. That means OTL has plenty of time to get his camera stuff sorted ready for his trip up to Isle of Mull.

We, of course, will be delighted to spend the day relaxing on the bed!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Look it's the Sun!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Now, we have had a look at the calendar and see that we are galloping along towards holiday time!

We are out rather early in the morning but behind the clouds you can see the bright bits!

We can see the 'Bright Bits'!
Although the sun was behind the clouds there was also a bit of a wind blowing and with the wind came the cold!

Old Two Legs even had to wear his 'Old Duffer Hat' that has side flaps that can fold down to cover his ears!

Lunchtime we were out again and the sun was just pouring down from the sky!

It was so warm that we woke Freddy and Wendy up and invited them out for a walk.

Freddy was up for it, right until he got to the football field and at that point he demanded a carry 'cos his 'Paws Hurt'!

That Freddy is a right crafty ferret!

Walking back along the top path OTL put  both ferrets down and Freddy did his famous trick!

Oh! Dear! I've just stubbed my claw and it hurts.........honest!
Of course, when OTL picked him up he snuggled down and rolled onto his back to catch a few rays!

When we got to the football field the ferrets got stroked by a couple of Mini Two Legs and Freddy got put down on the grass so he can trot back to the car.

I don't do Trotting, waddle maybe but not trot!
Once the ferrets got back in the car OTL and I played 'Chase the Ball' and in the end it seemed that OTL was doing more chasing than us woofers!

Back home the ferrets crashed out and didn't wake up for the rest of the afternoon!

OTL has been working hard finishing up the paperwork ready for the accountant to do whatever he does!

We have watched the weather forecast and it looks like it will be sunny for the next few days so both sets of ferrets could get a trip out in the sunshine!

We can sniff something cooking so we are off to do some mugging!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
