Holly got a limp!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

We have had a bit of a traumatic day today.

It started off yesterday when Holly started to limp on her rear left-hand leg. She was OK when she was just walking but as soon as she got into a trot, up would go the leg and she limped along on three legs.

This morning when Old Two Legs took us down the beach, the limp was not so bad but after she came home, it was back to limping when she walked!

Ring Ring, 'Hello, this is the Vet!'

That was it, an appointment for an hours’ time and off she goes on her own to be pulled and prodded and twisted and stretched!

Now, before all this, OTL had done that to Holly’s leg, Pulled, Prodded and Twisted and Stretched and Holly hadn't yelped or showed she was in any pain.

When the vet did it, she pulled and prodded and stretched it with a little more vigour and that made Holly uncomfortable!

It was decided to give Holly a course of anti-inflammatory jollop and if her leg is not better in one week, we are to go back for x-ray and knock out drops!

You could hear OTL's wallet scream all the way back home!

What was worse, Holly is not allowed any jumping or running and has to go for gentle walks only in the football field behind the houses.

I on the other paw am allowed to go down to the beach and enjoy all of the sniffs I want, all to myself!

Lunchtime The Missus walked Holly around the field, on a lead while I headed off to the beach. There was a hairy horror of a woofer who wanted a rough and tumble game with me but I was not in the mood and I had to tell him to 'Woof Off' in no uncertain way, so he went and had a game with OTL who gave his tail a tickle!

So, poor Holly is not allowed any rushing about, she has to be quiet and stay on the sofa and not jump about!

That means I am first to the food bowl or the treat box or OTL's lap to pinch some of his nibbles!

Result!

See you tomorrow!

Back to normal!

Hi Woofers,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We had a great sleep last night and Old Two Legs didn't get up until half seven!

The Lazy Woofer!

We went out for our run this morning and for a change, no rain!

OTL has been playing with the computer and email catching up on last weeks work that has piled up. Holly did offer to sort it out!

We had a look at the photos OTL took and when you accept that all week it was either rain or snow, he didn't do too bad!

He told us about the HeeLand Coo that wouldn't move off the road until OTL said that he would send Eric to sort him out!

Eric? Not the famous Eric de Ferret?
He moved and so did his mates!

They went up to a place called The Quiraing, the rock formations look spectacular. Now OTL has been there in the past and climbed up there but this time it was too wet, so, a quick snap out of the window and back in the car before the rain got any worse!

Dramatic or wot?
Another day they went to see the Cuillins but again the clouds were too low and the rain too wet for any walking up the side of the mountain. So, wait for the sun to slip through the clouds, jump out the car, a quick snap and back in again!

Yep! OTL says he has only climbed one of them!
There was one water fall that looked rather spectacular when it was in full flood but everytime they drove past, it was raining.

Except this time and inbetween showers, click!
One time there used to be just one distillery and it is OTL's most favourite place on the whole island!

Alun loves the place as well!
So, there you go, if it wasn't raining it was snowing and if it wern'e snowing it was raining!

I think it was a good idea of ours to stay at home!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

He's back, a little tired but back!

Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Old Two Legs arrived back last night, a little late but after 690 miles I supose he can be allowed a few minutes late!

We gave him the Woofers Welcome and managed to give him so many licks that he couldn't see out his glasses!

Tomorrow we will be looking at the photo's but here is one I sneaked off the camera!

The back end of the Cuillins!
You know, it doesn’t look too bad for an amateur, maybe he will improve with time!

OTL was saying that but for the last day as they headed home, every time they went out the rain started!

You know what? It was the same today, our morning walk was wet and at lunchtime it was wet again? I reckon OTL has a curse on him! Every time he pokes his nose out of the door, SPLOSH, down it comes!

Today The Missus has been spreading the glitter around at the village hall, but sad to say, this will be the last gathering of the ladies until this flu virus thingy is knocked on the head, well, we don't want any of our ladies catching it!

Mind you, I suppose that will give TM more time to play at home and continue the never ending game with Eric.

I found a sniff of chicken strips coming from under the boxes it TM's store and told OTL about it.

After a poke about out he comes with three strips and five smoothies!

He is going to get in trouble before long!

Mind you, she shouldn't leave her smoothies anywhere Eric can get them!

OTL is off for an early night, well he deserves it. Still, we look forward to waking him up by jumping onto the bed and giving his little bald head a good licking!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
