A Lazy Sunday!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We just love Sundays, I mean, what other day can you stay in bed an extra half an hour, woof at the ferrets who are still asleep and go for a walk and not meet anyone?

Mind you, this morning we could hardly see anything on the golf course!

Old Two Legs decided to take his camera with him to catch the sunrise but after putting our harnesses on us and putting his wellie boots on he managed to forget the camera!

That was a shame as he could have taken some 'atmospheric' shots across the golf course. It was lucky that he had his phone with him and that has a camera on it, so, he clicked off this shot.

Talk about 'soft focus'!

Now, that don't look too bad, bearing in mind that it was a wobbly camera phone!

We got home and while Holly and I relaxed in the bedroom OTL cleaned the ferret cages and The Missus was busy producing videos for the crafters showing how to do stuff with big brush and a stamp!

She was working on one when someone passed our front door and we started to give it some wellie woofing our tails off. That means we were in trouble and she had to do the whole lot again!

Tomorrow OTL is off to the garage again to get the car fixed so we will have to stay at home watching for him out of the bedroom window!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

OTL does it again!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Did we have some fun yesterday, Old Two Legs went down to pick up his big car after getting repaired which started off well, that was until he was half way home. The warning light came on the dashboard and the steering suddenly became non-power assisted!

That means it is very hard to steer the car!

So, very carefully he headed back to the garage and informed them of the problem!

The belt that is driven by the crankshaft that also drive the power steering and water pump and alternator and the air conditioning pump/compressor!

That's a load of stuff driven by one belt!

Well, a new belt was ordered and just before closing time it arrived and four engineers were involved in putting it all back together again, that was until they found that one of the idler pullies was damaged!

It was all put back so we could drive it home but he has to go back on Monday morning to drop the car in and for them to fit a new pully and re-align the belt!

So, that is the excuse for not blogging yesterday which was a shame cos we met up with a new woofer on the block who was just a little scared when two woofing sisters ran up to him!

You want to sniff my what?

It was a shame that he was on a lead cos we could have had a good game of chase but we think he was one of those woofers that wouldn't come back if the TL called him!

Not like us, when OTL calls we both come running, after we have finished sniffing!

Can you hear something?

Now, Eric had decided he wated to stay in bed, so yesterday OTL decided the take the camera and especially as he wanted to get a better shot of the old water tower which is the last bit of the railway station that used to be here before the Beeching rail cuts.

You can just imagine the shout of 'Fill 'er up Bert' when the train pulled into the station!

This morning it was the same, Eric decided that bed was better than wet grass, so off we went with the camera in OTL's hand and looking from the football field OTL captured this sunrise. Only we were a little late, so the sun was up above the horizon, still, quite atmospheric! Maybe tomorrow it will be better.

There on the other paw, Eric could be awake and rattling the cage to come out with us!

A view across the marshes!

So that's it today, a sunrise and a new President of the United States, not a bad day after all!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
