It's Gone!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

What a surprise this morning! We rolled out of bed expecting it to be cold and windy and snowy but what did we see?

No snow!

I mean, like nothing white except for the pile of seagull poo that landed on our drive!

That was it, off Old Two Legs went and got washed and showered and dressed in no time at all and off we went to see if the snow had gone from the football field!

That's all that’s left of that snowball!

All we had left was muddy bits along the path around the old golf course! We tried skirting the muddy bits and spent some fun time sniffing all the sniffs that were frozen under the snow!

Hey, this is a serious sniff this is!

I was in luck, I found an orange tennis ball that was pumped up and had some fun chasing it when Old Two Legs threw it down the path.

OK, I know it doesn't look orange but it was OTL's fault 'cos he has been playing with the camera controls!

Lunchtime we headed off to the sea side and met up with Mary, we think her name is Mary, who spent all the time woofing at us and telling us to leave the sniffs alone!

These are my sniffs!

We left her to get on with it and headed off along the path where we found the last of the snow hiding under some bramble bushes. So, as a parting farewell to the snow we did a wee on it!

Can you spot the yellow snow?

Going around the top we saw that the rig is still there at the Sheerness docks. It seems that there is a bit more engineering to be done than what we thought in the begining!

Maybe they will be putting a fourth leg on the rig?

It looks like we will be having some warmer weather over the next week or so, not exactly heat wave and sunshine but a little warmer than we have had over the last week.

Claws crossed!

We have told OTL to get the camera controls fixed and back to colour again, or else!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Snoozy Sunday!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, today has been a super day, just the sort of Sunday we enjoy. I mean, we got up late after a super long sleep last night. It was cold outside but at least it hadn't snowed during the night.

We met up with a couple of woofers but didn't hang about as the sniffs were calling!

Back home we were presented with a bowl full of warm, greasy chicken fresh from the oven!

That went down a treat and after we were let out of the bedroom, after Old Two Legs had finished the ferret cage cleaning, we spend the next two hours on our mat with our paws in the air!

The lunchtime walk was about the same, I got chased around the old golf course by a couple of noisy woofers who look like they don't get out much!

Needless to say, I was miles ahead of them and circumnavigated the course and was back to meet OTL and Holly before they got to the entrance again!

As OTL says, Brains over Brawn will always win out!

It wasn't so cold today but there was a breeze blowing that kept the temperature down.

Back home we were presented with one of our favourite rawhide chews and spent a couple of hours giving them a good mullering!

It seems that The Missus has spent all day making video's or gassing to her mates on the computer, pausing only to tell us all to 'Keep Quiet' while she is recording, she is such a Diva!

I've not seen the weather forecast for tomorrow but we are crossing our claws that it will be warmer!

That's it for today, we have had a gentle, gentle Snoozy Sunday, just like we like!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Spring is coming!

 Hello woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, just like yesterday it has been rather cold here in sunny North Kent! We go out and the snow and ice just sort of crunches under our paws. Old Two Legs makes even more noise than us, but one good thing is that the ground where it would be quaggy mud is in fact solid ice, which saves us from getting too muddy!

This morning we woke up a little earlier than normal and was out before the sun got up!

We looked over towards the marsh and saw that the power station had just fired up and that means the world had just put the kettle on for the morning brew!

Tea or coffee?

It was still in semi darkness that we wandered around the old golf course and by the time we had finished the sun was still in bed!

Maybe tomorrow we will catch it, we just have to stay in bed a little longer!

Lunchtime came and OTL didn't fancy playing Tipp Toe through the mud and snow so we set off for the Sea Side. There were parts of the road that were still covered in snow where the road had been blocked with a drift of snow. It's a good job we hadn't tried yesterday or any earlier or we might not have got through or what's worse, we might have got stuck!

The sky has remained blue all day, so that means it may stay clear tonight and that means 'COLD'!

I keep looking at the calendar and marking off the days, roll on Spring Time we can do with some warm weather!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
