An F1 Saturday hunting squirrels!!

I love lazy days and today has been one of them. The Missus has been making videos of her slapping glue and glitter and at the same time telling everyone how she did it. I mean, if you’re making a video then everyone should be able to see what you’re doing!

Down on the sea front the was a Two Legs trying to out stare a crow who had seen the TL's sandwich bag on the seat beside him!

What chance of a robbery?

Old Two Legs had got the big camera and one of the big lenses 'cos the other day we saw a squirrel on the path, the first one we have seen in the forest, however, today there was nothing to be seen and we had to put up with stuff we have seen before.

Like, the Medway Fort.

Then there is the bench where we have a rest.

Of course, there is always the Green Vein Butterfly and right at the top is a Hover Fly wot landed on the flowers 'cos it got tired of hovering!

This year the Dragonflies have all been rather small and I've not seen a Southern Hawker for ages!

A Red Darter that got exhausted and landed in a spider’s web!

All this photography stuff can make you want to have a rest while waiting for OTL, not that he cares, all he wants to do is go Clickety Click all over the place!

If he don't hurry up I'm off home on my own!

Bye Bye Big Car!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Well, all good things must come to an end and it's the Big Cars turn to leave us!

We've had a lot of fun with it, bouncing around boggy fields, dragging caravans up to Scotland twice a year.

However, with the caravan going there was no need to keep the Big Car and unfortunately it became surplus to our needs.

It was getting on in years and although it was first registered in 2008 it has served us well. Old Two Legs even took it up to Orkney!

Holly and I would ride in the back on our mats and sometimes would sit on the centre arm rest just to see where we were going!

It has gone to the auctioneers and will 'Go Under the Hammer' next Tuesday evening.

OTL is not expecting a lot for it 'cos of its age but anything we get will go in the pot for the next motor purchase!

Eric wants a sports car; Miss Wendy wants a motor home with a big bed so she can sleep on the road and OTL is looking for another 4x4 high speed rocket.

However, The Missus says we just need an Estate Car.

Gawd, just how boring can you get!

F1 from Monza this weekend, should be fun, with a bit of luck Lewis might get first place!

Sorry, there are no photos today, we had to travel many miles to get the Big Car to the auctioneers and then we took the long way back 'cos there was a big smash up on the motorway!

Lofty Places!

Thunder and Lightning last night, a dose of rain as well!

Well, we didn't expect that but there might be some more tonight according to the weather man!

There was no one down on the sea front today, all the mini Two Legs have all gone back to school and the old Two Legs are having a rest from looking after the mini-TL’s!

Old Two Legs has been emptying the big car of all the stuff that is kept there for emergencies, like, First aid kit, tow ropes and tyre pump!

There was the electric drill for jacking up the caravan and some engine oil plus screen wash!

The two bags and other bits went up in the loft but before they could go up, I had to go up!

I love going up there and sniffing around the back of all the stuff. 

OTL put all the bags up and turned off the lights and locked the loft.

Yes, you are ahead of me already!

About half an hour later he needed to put the last bit in the loft and as he was storing it behind the boxes, he heard a whimper. It was me, still behind all the boxes and in the dark!

That was it, I stuck my nose around the boxes and saw there was room for me to squeeze along the ally way and down to OTL!

OTL says it was an adventure but to be honest, I wouldn't fancy being up there any longer!
