Another Grey Sky!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, this morning Old Two Legs got up early, very early, you see I decided around about midnight that I was in need of a wee and woke him up so he could let me out in the back garden.

Now waking OTL up in the middle of the night plays havoc with his sleeping pattern so to get him up at getting up time involved me jumping up and down on him as he lay snoring his tail off!

You know, he was even a bit grumpy as well!

When we got down to the sea front the sun had got up but was hiding behind a big thick blanket of grey cloud that blocked the sunrise!

Not the most exciting sunrise I've ever seen!

We met up with those Poodle Brothers and Lexy, Lexy set about worrying me by wanting a sniff and a game and again it took a fer serios woofs to get her to back off!

The Brothers made a fuss of OTL them went tearing around playing 'Chase', no problems with them!

If she comes over here again, I'll sort her out good and proper!

The overnight rain had knocked most of the leaves off the trees and of course, most of the sniffs had been washed away as well.

Not a sniff to be sniffed!

When we got home, we found one of the fence panels had blown out and was planted in next doors garden, so being a good neighbour, OTL put it back but I think that a new one will be called for because the panel itself had been in place for at least twenty years and was held in place by the ivy growing over it!

So, that's it for today, not the most exciting but I did get to wander around next doors garden first thing this morning!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Missed again!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Yes, it's been another Wintery, grey and wet day today!

Once again Old Two Legs missed the sunrise. He even tried catching the reflection off one of the buildings in Southend, it really wasn't that impressive!

Look! A square Lighthouse light!

You can see the background glow from the sun, not going to set the world alight though!

Looking over to Sheerness it was a bit brighter but the sun sort of over did the glow bit!

If OTL had some of his filters he could have made a better job but he really needs about ten more minutes before catching it properly.

One of the problems is that you shouldn't look through the view finder straight into the sun, bad for the old eyeball you see. So, it's a case of squinting and hold the camera at arm’s length and hold your breath!

Getting into the forest we found one of the last trees with more than six leaves still hanging on! I reckon if that storm Arwen, has any effect down this end of the world we may very well lose these!

Lunchtime the wind had changed direction and not only that, it had brought the rain with it. OTL got soaked, even though he had his hood pulled up!

The rain and wind got into the hood and froze his nose, poor OTL!

He didn't bother taking the camera with him, not wanting to get it all wet and soggy!

Taking of soggy, by the time we got home I was a right Soggy Doggy and was in need of a good rub down with my Doggy Towel, as soon as OTL had finished with me I was off up to bed for a snooze before dinner!

See you tomorrow.

Let's hope OTL gets up a bit earlier and we catch a clear sky!

Luv,

Daisy, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
