A Lazy Day

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy back with you again.

It's been a super sunny day today, breezy but not too cold!

Old Two Legs was playing with the camera controls and produced one of his 'Mud Reflections'!

One day he will get up early and catch a real sunrise!

  Boring!

He took another morning shot but left off the 'Fiddly Diddly' camera controls, looking at them both I'm not sure which I like better!

No Fiddly Diddly, just a shot of Sheerness taken from the sea wall!

We had the Boiler Man call today to give the system a yearly service and check it all was working as it should. Boiler Man and OTL were up in the loft, Boiler Man working and OTL watching. Normally when OTL goes up in the loft I insist on going up with him but today I thought that three of us all together might be too crowded, so I stayed in the office!

We were a little late getting out at lunchtime but nothing had changed, except there was no one on our walk except a few birds!

 Sniff, Sniff, Sniff!

Being it was just after one thirty it was all dry and hard baked, so that messed up the sniffs, still, you can't be lucky all the time!

Well, there was a sniff here this morning!

This coming Friday OTL will be sending off the balance for the static caravan we are hiring for a couple of weeks as our 'Holiday Home'.

We have been to this place before but normally there would have been Holly and a couple of ferrets as well as OTL and The Missus, but that was in our own caravan.

Still, it's a good sign and we are all looking forward to visiting some of our old haunts on the island and OTL wants to try hunting some more otters with his camara!

This is a couple he got a few years ago.

Maybe he will do better this year!

Did you know the otter is from the same family as the ferret? Mind you, he had better not come back with an otter, our pond isn't big enough!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy Dog.

A new command for Charlie!

 Hello Woofers!

It's me again, Daisy Dog back with a thrilling tale of daring do and danger!

Well, I had to jump off the sea wall to keep out of the way of a big brown Labrador who I know would want to have a sniff of my tail and he gets all showy off if I growl at him!

We got down to the sea wall a little earlier than in the last week or two but there wasn't a real sunrise, just a sort of reflection off the mud!

Having done several like this I reckon it's getting a bit samey, so OTL has got to look for something different!

Lunchtime we met up with Susie and young Charlie out for a run around.

Charlie was all big and proud 'cos he has learned a new command, 'DOWN'.

He insisted on showing us his Down position and said that he could go from Down to Sit with just a teak of his tail!

Look, look, this is my 'Down', see not even a twitch!

OTL managed to get a shot of him before he demonstrated his 'Sit' stance.

I must say, he is getting very good. The next step is to return to his Two Legs when called, but that's all in the future and he is just a young pup with a whole lot to learn yet!

Now, how about this for Sit?

Being a good boy, he got a tickle on his tail before Susie pushed him out of her way so OTL could give her a stroke as well!

The rest of the day has been sort of snoozy, OTL hasn't done anything in the garden cos his fingers still hurt from yesterday’s grass pulling so I don't suppose he will be doing any more until the weekend!

Let's hope tomorrow is sunny.

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy Dog.
