We see a squirrel!

 Hello Woofers.

Daisy Dog here!

Well now, this morning The Missus decided that instead of chopping up bits of card and covering it all with glue and sparkles, she would get some exercise and come out for a walk with Old Two Legs and I!

It was a little windy down on the sea front but TM was wrapped up like an eskimo!

You know, I haven't had my coat on for ages, obviously my hair is warmer than TL's coat!

Just look at this coat and let's face it my tail is the only one in the family!

Lunchtime it was just OTL and I, the sun was out and OTL had to adjust the camera settings, bearing in mind that he forgot to bring the camera this morning!

There were a couple of butterflies charging around and after a while they both came crashing to the ground all out of breath!

It's that time of the year again!

It was when OTL stood up that we saw it, there in the middle of the path was a squirrel! Now we know there was one in the forest, just one 'cos it is rumoured was imported by a Two Legs, much against the law!

The squirrel was seen once during the winter but with little food we didn't expect him to survive. It is with a degree of luck that this past winter was rather mild in comparison to some other parts of the country.

Yep! I'm still here!

You know, OTL told me to sit and stay and wouldn't allow me to chase it, not like Archie Babe, he is allowed to chase the little monsters!

I haven't seen a rabbit for ages and now I'm forbidden to chase squirrels!

Back home we decided to have a snooze after lunch, it makes a change for everyone to have a snooze!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy Dog

A trip to the vets for me!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy Dog here again.

Well, what a fun day today!

We went out earlier than normal 'cos Old Two Legs let the vet book an early morning appointment!

So, we turn up and get to list the reasons why I'm there.

1.     Worming Tablet

2.      Claws clipped

3.      Check-up

Why is it that the thing that looks like a normal run of the mill test always throws up a big question mark?

Claw cutting was fun, best of four falls, two knock downs or knock-out!

We started off in the consulting room but then got moved to the 'Back Office' where the vet had one end of me while the nurse held onto the other end!

In the end it was the best of four and I came back to OTL saying I had sorted them out!

Next was the check-up, check my belly for spots and listen to my heart! The vet says I have a heart murmur which is not unusual in a woofer my size.

She said there were two ways we could go. First is to have a heart scan but that means going to a specialist and OTL will have to fork out £750:00!

Second is to go on a course of tablets that pumps up my heart and cuts down the murmur and makes me feel all big and strong. If that works then I might be on these pills for the rest of my days!

I'm already on a pill that helps control my weak bladder so one more to stop me murmuring is no problem!

Back home I got the first of the pills and an hour or so later I got a nibble of chicken, OTL says I've got to go at least an hour after taking the pill for maximum effect!

Can't wait for lunchtime, I might be strong enough to beat up those hooligan poodles!

Nothing there at all!

Well, I didn't see any poodles but I did see a big brown Labrador but they were so far away I decided not to bother with him!

While I was looking at the Labrador, OTL decided to take a quick photo of me, not very good and too far away!

One good thing, I get to take my pill at least twice a day and an hour before any food, so that should be easy to do!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy Dog.
