Sunday, Sunday!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy here again.

You know, yesterday was great, soft breeze, plenty of sunshine and a great walk down on the sea front.

Mind you, I could have done without the shampoo and shower, still, I got my own back by shaking all the water and shampoo suds all over Old Two Legs while he was trying to keep me in the shower cubical!

This morning was a little colder and the wind had got up as well, but it was still fun down on the sea front

'First we must get the 'early morning mood'

The wind was up and just a little chilly compared to yesterday but still good fun.

A long way behind us I spotted the Two Legs called Joe and his woofer called Pod.

I have no idea why they called him Pod but whatever turns you on!

Anyway, Pod came bouncing along and we had a little game of 'Chase' and 'Sniff the Butt'!

Joe was so far behind us that OTL said it felt like he was walking two dogs! We slowed down to wait for Joe before they went off one way while we went over the hill and down to the field where the Ox Eye daisies were.

There seems to be more each day we visit. I reckon that it will be maybe one or two weeks before the numbers peak and the grass will be covered with daisies!

As we got to the far side of the field OTL saw a Foxglove but a white one, which he says is unusual 'cos they are normally pinkish purple around this end of the world.

OTL says the white foxgloves have an ethereal, classy, elegant look.

As I've said before, 'What ever turns you on!'

 Now, we don't often see a white Foxglove!

 Lunchtime we were about to go out again but looking out of the window we could see the rain coming down in bucket loads!

On goes my rain coat and out comes the lead while OTL changes his jacket and puts on his hat.

By the time we had got dressed again the rain had stopped! Mind you half a mile down the road it started again, so it was worth getting my coat!

OTL didn't take the camera 'cos he didn't want it to get wet, so, no photos of the tide trying to climb over the sea wall!

I spent the afternoon watching the F1 Racing but to be honest, I fell asleep half way through 'cos the overtaking was only done in the pits, which is a bit boring!

Sploshed!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy the Clean here!

Well, it couldn't have lasted any longer.

After the morning walk, I got tricked into investigating the shower cubical and before I realised what was happening, I got soaked, followed by a gallon of doggy shampoo and a scrubbing brush to loosen off all the sniffs I had collected when I've been out for a walk!

Just for a change, Old Two Legs didn't use the warm air blower on me but instead dried me off with my doggy towels and I had a roll on the bedroom carpet which helped to dry my back off!

Once I was dry and all fluffy OTL set to with the scissors to trim the hair knots from my legs and my important places!

OK, now I look clean and cuddly and when we went out at lunchtime I was looking forward to a swim in the river and a roll in a nice pile of fox poo I had found yesterday.

Unfortunately, OTL guessed what I wanted to do and made me wear my lead on my collar!

So, here I am, all clean and smelling like a right tart!

OTL says that tomorrow I will get a shave on my legs and tummy, just to trim the long hairy bits I've manage to grow since my last haircut.

Got out of it again!

Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy back again!

Well, I've managed to escape a washing again today!

We started off early this morning and it was lucky that the tide was out, that way Old Two Legs didn't have a reason to give me a wash!

 The sea is way out in the distance!

We had a laugh cos the fisherman arrived, assembled all his fishing tackle, then had to sit and wait three hours before the tide came in!

Now, where did I put that tide chart?

We came back at lunchtime when the tide was in and I managed to get a chance of a swim, well, a deep paddle anyway!

You know, a few more steps and I could get my back wet as well!

One of the super things about the summertime is that you can walk along, minding your own business, and the sun can break through the trees and light up a glade!

It was dark a moment ago, now look at it!

Back home OTL was thinking that I should get a wash and haircut. Lucky for me, he had a rather heavy lunch, fell asleep and didn't wake up until late!

My problem now is that he might have a light lunch tomorrow and I get sploshed tomorrow!
