Internetty Box Somewhere on a Van, somewhere!

Well, it's not raining!

A bit chilly this morning but no rain, which is a good sign. In fact, the weatherman says we will have some dry days ahead of us, for about a week or so.

That may be a good guess but it doesn't lead to a bright sunrise!

Old Two Legs decided to have a fun time and waved his camera at an old friend, in fact four friends but sort of mixed up.

A Bench, a Tree, a Poo Bin and a Tree!

Well, it makes a change to mix them up!

Just to let you see the weather was as boring as yesterday, and the day before and the day before that, I decided to have a sniff on the middle path! 

I'm sure I've sniffed this one before!

As the tide was out, we had the pleasure of seeing some Red Shank poking around in the mud and digging up all the worms the fishermen threw in yesterday!

 There is nothing like a wormy breakfast!

We met up with the lads but only as we all got to the gate. They don't have to worry about getting OTL up in time to catch them in the mornings!

The rest of the morning was spent sorting out all the wiring ready for when the Internetty Box of Bits arrives.

It didn't, but what the heck, we have all afternoon!

Lunchtime arrived and as we walked across the football field, we saw some tiny fungi in the dew.

Pretty or wot?

The sky’s looked the same and we were the only living things on the walk!

OTL was waxing lyrical about the colours and insisted on taking a couple of shots.

It looks all colour but there is something missing...........?

ME!

See you tomorrow and as of 16:00hr as I write this, there is no sign of the Internetty Box of Bits, maybe it got directed to Birmingham via Orkney.

A New Internetty Box!

 Hi Woofers,

Daisy back with you, just!

We have been having loads more trouble with the Internetty and last night just after uploading the blog the box of stuff went all wobbly and the whole system went into break down mode!

So, after a long chat with the engineer in the 'Help Dept' we were told a new box of bits would be in the post today!

The morning run was a little late but as it was still dark when we went out that didn't matter much. We saw Oscar and the Grey Hounds, who got their tickle under the chin as normal while I sat down in the football field and ended up with a damp tail!

The sunrise was pretty dull but we took a shot, just for the record!

I think you'll agree, we have seen better!

 As Old Two Legs was playing with the camera a Ringed Plover flew past and OTL did wot he does best 'Click'

 Well, it was a long way away and going at speed!

After that we had a game of Chase the Ball, Actually, OTL kicked the tennis ball, I looked at it and OTL chased after it only to kick it again and expect me to chase after it.

No way!

Next Monday I have an appointment with the vet to have a look at a lump that has sprouted up and I have started to lick it.

I reckon it's a wart but we had better get it checked out as it is a bit bigger than the normal wart!

So, that's it for today, Winter is on its way and soon I'll have to write out my Christmas List for Santa!

What a day!

 Hi Woofers,

Daisy here again.

Today it has been gloomy plus wet and damp and boring!

First thing this morning it was raining when we went out, I got wet, did a 'Speed Wee'd' all over the football field then did an even faster poo before turning around and headed back to the car!

Leaving Old Two Legs behind of course!

You know what, it was the same at lunchtime, 'Speed Wee', even faster poo and back to the car!

Back home I managed to pinch a bit of OTL's lunch and after that we had a delivery of a new phone for the office. It's got big buttons and a loud ringer and even louder audio and it's described as being for the hard of hearing (OTL) and the old (The Missus), OK, and OTL!

OTL spent the whole afternoon installing the system, most of the time has been spent fiddling the cables through the back of the equipment on the desk!

There was a time when this would have been a quick job but old age and a bad back means he didn't get finished until just gone nine!

It didn't help being banned from making any sort of noise 'cos TM was doing a 'Freebie Christmas Card' which took an hour to sprinkle the glitter over the reindeer’s horns!

So, that's my excuse for being late!

Another day like yesterday!

Yo! Woofers!

Well, the weather is just the same as yesterday, cloudy and the threat of rain, just a threat!

Being Saturday I allowed Old Two Legs an extra hour in bed this morning. I'm not sure that it is a good idea but I have to be kind to the old boy at least once a week!

Down on the sea wall the sun was still hiding behind the clouds, so no sunrise today. However, there was one Wormy Man heading out onto the mud flats carrying his plastic bucket and a shovel!

Here wormy, wormy!

We met up with a couple of bozo woofers I know, both are just potty about chasing balls. One woofer, the sheep dog woofer, would chase after the ball and run around for a little bit, then he would drop it for the other woofer to pick up and present it to the Two Legs to throw again!

 Me Chase! Me Chase! Me Chase!

 

 Come on, pick it up and throw it again!

 I must admit, after a couple of chases, I get fed up and leave the ball for OTL to pick up, I mean, if he throws it, he can pick it up!

Lunchtime we came across a couple of Two Legs painting numbers along the sea wall, so that means the must be a fishing contest along the sea wall tomorrow.  

You would think they might have learned by now that there are only tiddly fish along the shore!

Sunday tomorrow, another late getting up day!
