Whose Birfday is it?

 Hi Woofers,

Daisy here.

I was glad to see that Archie Babe survived the vets, I'm not sure I could have been so brave any sign of a needle or gloved hand with five fingers has me all of a quiver!

We had a delivery of ten Wandering Snails in the post, they are now swimming around in the pond eating all the algae, well that's what we hope, a little munch here and there!

On our morning walk we got stopped at a set of traffic and were amazed seeing the sun behind the mist.

We were expecting big waves and howling winds, in fact, when we go to the sea wall, we couldn't find the sea!

So much for big waves!

Now, Archie Babe has asked us to sing a Happy Birthday song to his Mummy Two Legs, so, after a lot of thought we have developed this ditty!

Now, all together now, after twenty-nine and three quarters........Seven, Fifteen and Twenty-Nine & Three Quarters and a Little Bit..............🎂

Happy Birfday Archies Mum!

Blow your nose and scratch your bum!

It's your Birfday, Diddly do,

Here's a shovel and a pile of poo! 💩

Get a load of that one!

OTL and I have been looking at some of the past blogs and see that we first started Daisys Diary back in October 2010, so that means we have been going a whole thirteen years!

You know, that is a year older than I am now!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.

Lazy OTL.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy here.

It looks like that storm we were promised is keeping to the North West and down here in the South East it's all sunshine and blue skies mind you; they are promising rain for Friday!

OTL was up late last night and therefore didn't wake up until it was too late!

The Missus very kindly took me out and I had to walk along the sea front with those two hooligans!

There was no sign of Devo, maybe he was out earlier than normal.

Lunchtime I got OTL out of the office and over the football field and once again he was throwing or kicking a tennis ball while I wandered off totally ignoring him and the ball!

We got an email from the vet advising me that I'm due for a Vaccination and Health check which normally means I get stabbed and pulled around while looking for lump’s bumps and little bugs!

The good thing is, I don't have to go for one month!

Mind you, it's a bit off that I have to wait a month for an appointment, it's getting as bad as OTL's doctors, you can't book an appointment even if you ring the reception in the early hours of the morning!

The ponds still doing well, we managed to find a snail from the last lot we put in the pond, one of the stripy snails.

I'm off to watch a DVD with OTLand get a cuddle at the same time.

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.

A Good Day!

Hello Woofers,

Daisy back again.

Today OTL finally decided to get up at the right time! Like, he was up and staggering at six fifteen!

Into the shower then off we went to see what the day would bring.

It started off with meeting up with The Lads who were chasing a ball around. Mind you, they always do that and only stop off to say hello to OTL before resuming their ball chasing exercise!

OTL was taking photographs of the sunrise, not the most exciting sunrise but worth a try!

First effort using the telephoto lens

While OTL was taking a photo I caught the sniff of Devo! It wasn't too long before I found him and we had a dance around and a quick exchange of sniffs before OTL caught up and off we went in different directions!

Getting to the top of the steps OTL took another shot but there wasn't any increase in quality!

Not dramatic enough but that was because it started to rain!

Heading back to the car I spotted The Hooligans bouncing up and down chasing a Jack Russell out of the car park!

That gave me time to get into the car and wrapped up in my bedding, all ready to go home to breakfast.

The pond fountain is programmable and at full speed will sprinkle for a maximum of four hours but OTL has decided that it is more like three hours.

The zebra snails we put have disappeared, either climbed out of the pond or rolled over and died!

Looking on the Pond Shop, we have found a snail that is supposed to be bomb proof and will eat anything and survive any cloudy water.

What is best, it's called the Wandering Snail!

Let's hope they don't go wandering off during the night!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy.
